I have personally worked with Dr Linda Farrington in the early 2000's at Northern RI AH. I was her surgery technician . I just moved back home after living 6 years in Atlanta. I live in Somerset and work for Baystate Veterinary . My dog Khloe needed a dental. There was no-one else I trusted than Dr Farrington . I drove 45 mins each way to bring her there. I would have drove hours . My dog is 12 and my service dog and I was concerned but knowing Dr Farrington was doing the surgery I was not worried . Dr Farrington cares about her patients and does everything she can. I have known her to stay after hours and call clients on her day off. Also her prices are more than reasonable. I will never go anyway else. I have worked with many doctors in my 28 year Vet Career. Dr Farrington is the best !!!!!

40 Dollar fee to schedule an appointment should tell you all you need to know about this practice.

This has more to do with price increase than anything else. Since the start of Covid some visits are higher than Ocean State.

I have used CCVCRI for several years as my "back-up" vet and for emergencies when my own (mobile) vet was unavailable.

I am so glad I did. From the beginning they have been a wonderful team taking care of my dog, and eventually my cat and a family members dog and cat, and now another cat of mine. They saw us through an emergency visit when my dog had been bit by an off leash dog right before they closed, through two different cancers, kidney disease, arthritis, hearing loss, and the eventual loss of three of our seniors and through it all every vet, every tech, and every receptionist has been warm, knowledgeable, accommodating, and helpful, making sure we understood all of our test results, options, steps, and outcomes and answering absolutely every question thuroughly. I started with Dr Gifford who also performed both of my dog's cancer tumor surgeries, and as her schedule changed we now see Dr Tanguay, but I have never once in seven years regretted choosing Abbott Valley.

Unfortunately, I have to downgrade my rating for Abbott Valley. At first it was just annoying that…read morethey would refuse to authorize an order from chewy for flea/tick preventative. Then, when my dog was hurt (not emergency room level, but "I'm concerned and want to make sure he hasn't damaged something badly", they couldn't get him in until the next month. I called and asked about pain medication, which they first said they couldn't prescribe without seeing him. When I pointed out that they said they can't see him for literally weeks, they called back with a prescription. Hours have been decreased, and staffing is clearly an issue when you can't get in for an emergent problem. We've moved to a different vet, which is disappointing after so many years of excellent service. Not sure what's happening here, but it's gone decidedly down hill.

When we arrived, we were able to park in the lot behind the building, and there is a ramp leading up to the entrance. The waiting room is clean and spacious, with separate spaces for dogs and cats. Animals are required to be leashed or in a carrier. We were treated with kindness by the veterinarian and technicians, and the room we were placed in was also clean. The veterinarian treated our pet very nicely and everything went smoothly. I would recommend this practice to anyone needing end of life care for their pet, and the only reason I am giving them 4 stars rather than 5 is that the cost of this service was much higher than expected. In fact, it would have been less expensive for us to go to a 24 hour emergency veterinary office. Otherwise, the kindness and care we received here was excellent.

They truly care for every patient (pet) that comes through the door!! Their upfront and concise communication and compassion is superior. Mizzou, our 17 year old cat, truly loves her visits with Dr Murdock and her staff. She gets compliments, extra snuggles and gentle loving scratches. Honestly, my husband, me and Mizzou trust the staff here and we know they will do all they can to keep Mizzou healthy and pain free. Highly recommend East Bay Animal Hospital!

She was, understandably, anxious while waiting in the office. It was in places like the vets office that she usually changed hands. Everyone spoke to her in soft tones, petted her gently and made her feel at ease. Well, as much "ease" as any dog feels at the vet! They managed to calmed my own anxieties a bit as well! Everyone ogled over what an adorable mix she is, and how wonderful her temperament is. She was doted on by everyone she met at the office! It seemed to me that everyone there genuinely enjoys working with animals all day. Things I really like, besides how they treated Lady. - * They have later office hours, so we were able to come to a 6:15pm appointment. There was only one other dog that we saw while there, which was good for our Lady, since she was already dealing with some anxiety. * They did not PUSH any unnecessary treatments or products. We were already planning to start heart worm prevention, and a flea/tick topical. So those things were an easy sell. But they did not try to push anything else. Lady has a little growth beneath the skin on her chest that does not cause her pain. They did not recommend doing a biopsy on it unless it started to grow quickly, cause her pain, or some other type of sudden change. You know some vets would have her on the operating table! * I found the price to be fair. She had a checkup with a stool sample. We also purchased 6 months of heart worm prevention, and flea/tick topical. All in all, the bill was about $250. The medicines alone can cost over $200 for 6 months! So I think that the pricing at the office is pretty reasonable considering that they are also doing a test.
