I am writing this review to provide a warning to any individual thinking about sending a loved one to this facility. After my 91 year old father was hospitalized due to Covid, he was transferred to Bey Lea. Part of this decision to move to Bey Lea was because they had an isolation room where other skilled nursing facility did not at the time. After a few days of observing the care he was receiving at Bey Lea, I knew I had to move him to another facility. While in isolation staff hardly checked on him on a regular based. When staff did enter his room; they did not mask up and did not follow CDC droplet protocols. The initial lobby area of the facility was updated, but the patient rooms were dirty, dingy, old and not well kept. My father's bathroom had dried feces on the toilet seat. He was not given a shower after being told three times he would be put on schedule. While in isolation staff, his meal trays were just left with him while not providing any assistance with eating. To be fair there were some staff in nursing , aides and rehab who did exhibit concern and care for patients. However, most staff exhibited poor patient care skills. After a week I finally found another facility to move him into. In summary, Complete Care at Bey Lea does not meet the patient care standards that should be met. Avoid this facility at all costs! read more

What you see on their website verses what you see in-person are very different.Subacute Care is challenging enough for an individual without having the staff being rude and not interested in adequate care and safety. Not a good place. read more

Absolute worst! It has been over a year since I lost my Dad.. I haven't been able to speak too much about his care there.. we treat our farm animals better here. Disgraceful. My father was a combat Vietnam Vet. He was disabled. Enough so, that he was welcome in any VA facility of our choosing. He was dying. They waited out the time.. we begged for his papers to be signed off so he could be moved. He was taken out of his home in March after a fall. He never went home. Between the hospital and this wretched place they took all they could get. Shameful place. And from what I understand, we aren't the only family traumatized by this horrible event. My only consolation is the time he spent in dignity with his family at Lyons. Which unfortunately was a hospice situation by the time they got him. He was sick. He was scared and he was getting dementia. My hands shake as I talk about it. I thought I had seen it all. Still having nightmares.. I won't even go down the avenue my mom lives on now Shame! Please refer to the nursing home act. Maybe you haven't seen it yet. read more

Worse experience. No one wants to help or should I say do their job so they just don't do it. Do your loved ones a favor and don't bring them here. Hopefully they will be investigated for neglect and elder abuse. We took our Mom out of this place it was that bad read more

If I could give this place a negative zero I would! My was recently diagnosed with stage 4 Cancer, & needed to go to rehab to regain strength in her legs & arms. She said the food was horrible, & my mother couldn't eat it, & when the staff saw she wasn't eating the food, they yelled at her, & talked down to her! She had developed a bed sore on her backside that they did not treat properly. They claimed that a wound care specialist was brought in to examine the area, & told us there was nothing there. When she was discharged home, my father & I examined her, & found a huge bed sore on her backside, & it was so bad her skin was raw! I took a picture of it, & will be filing a complaint to the state Ombudsman. This place is horrible! Do not send your loved one to this place! I will never forgive myself for picking this place, for my mother to rehab. The placed is understaffed, & the staff that is there, are uncaring & rude to the patients. I only wish I could give a negative number of stars. My mom has been on hospice since 4/21/21. I am her primary caregiver, and I needed to travel for business the last week of July. I requested a five-night respite stay at Complete Care Bey Lea. My mom is 83, blind, and completely bedridden. She is unable to feed herself, toilet, or do anything independently. My mom has been in and out of hospitals and nursing homes for the past five years so I had very realistic expectations about the care she would receive. I called her everyday throughout her stay, and she was complaining that she was calling out for help and ringing the buzzer, and no one was coming. I checked in with the nurses every day, and they assured me everything was good. My husband went to the facility twice, and both times he had to set up her audio-books. Her audio-books are her only source of entertainment because she is blind. Once my mom came home, we had a chance to sit and talk. She described her stay at Bey Lea as one of the worst experiences of her life. I always take moms current cognitive state into consideration but I also know she has a clear mind too, and I believe her when she says no one was answering her calls. Because my mom didn't have her Covid vaccinations she was placed in the secluded quarantine section of the facility, so I am not surprised no one heard her calling out for help. I am heartbroken to learn she was neglected, scared and now suffers from significantly increased anxiety levels. Definitely not the experience we hoped for and I wanted to share this with others so you don't regret your decision like I do. It was a huge mistake to choose this awful facility. read more

This is the same operation as complete care in Linwood. They are the worst . The lady Tiffany makes appointments and sends people to places that don't have appointments for them , she is never at her desk to be found. The social worker Cindy thinks she is at home as when you go in her office to see her she sits back with her shoes off . And the food is so bad my mom can't eat and has lost over 26 pounds quickly! The social workers and the rest or the administrative staff are clueless people and stink at their respective jobs. They are not helpful and they are rude. The kitchen stinks the facility up and those workers look dirty. The facility needs an overhaul. Understaffed. Cannot meet the needs of the patients. Find another place. read more

I would not give any stars. I went to their rehab subacute facility at Bey Lea after surgery. It was a nightmare. Patients are being verbally abused by staff, intimidated and neglected. They have very long response times for call bells. I was kept in isolation even tho I had my 2 COVID boosters and even tho I tested negative 3x. They stated I'd have to stay in isolation for 5 days!!!!???? Nit what had been told during my tour prior to my surgery. The food was disgusting and did not even accomodate my special diet. Left sitting in urine. No access to things I needed in my room. Staff would forget my requests. I could go on and on. Please don't go there or send a loved one there. read more

I would give them a zero but I had to rate them in order to post my review. Due to their care put my Grandma into hospice sooner. Her wound wasn't properly taken care of and the infection spread. No one noticed her staples had come out and didn't take care of her properly while after her using the bathroom. I will not stop until I have justice. My Grandma passed away yesterday. I'm well aware she's elderly but due to their "care takers" and "nurses" they all helped putting her into a grave sooner. read more
