Nick and his son came over and touched up my kitchen island. Great job! On time and under budget.

Both of them were very informative and thorough with explaining the process, products, and (step by step) updates with our project. Their setup (plastic dome), preparation, and clean up were remarkable. It takes talent to make a plastic fort like that- and contain all that dust/fumes. They showed up everyday promptly at 8:00am and had our project completed right on schedule. We would definitely recommend them to our friends and family!

They do not use painters tape. I had paid them 800.00 to stain my windows and they also took almost 2 weeks to finish. They would come promptly at 8am but leave everyday at 10:30 and than come back 30-45 min later than only stay until 1-2pm. I gave them over 1000.00 dollars and 2 jobs. I than asked them to give me a bid to paint my kitchen cupboards out of curiosity and wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt and they gave me a bid of $4,000.00!! I can get new cabinets installed for that price! They up charge their paint and Stephanie is not a professional painter btw. They have a long way to go to learn how to be more professional.

This is for the Abi de review one star I was there when your incident occurred and your story is a…read morecomplete lie over exaggerated and did not happen. This is what really happened. Fuck you you call a AAA Painting Decorating on a Thursday and you wanted to paint job on a Saturday and Sunday do you wanted to custom color because out of the thousands of colors that Sherman Williams had to offer not one was one that you liked? You had to have a special one so all day Friday Sherman Williams was matching your special color at the end of the day Friday they were finally done And we picked up your paint for Saturday's paint job. You already had a contract that you had signed when I came to do the estimate, so there was no changing of prices numbers no changing of work that never happened. You had a signed contract that you agreed to and nobody change the price, what happened is you after we picked up the paint we called you and told you your paint was ready we're picking it up will see you Saturday morning hours later you called back and you said I wanna cancel the paint job. My husband wants to do the work and we said OK that's fine that happens no problem. Wish you would've gave us a little bit more time but there's not much we can do, now you have to pay for the paint we told her it's a special color if your husband's gonna do the painting over the weekend then here is your color just pay Sherwin-Williams. She agreed that her husband would meet me the following day at the Vadnais Heights's Sherwin Williams to pay for the 15 gallons of paint that she had special ordered. The bill was about $380, nobody ever text her again nobody ever threatened her that's all nonsense. It's a lie the following day we went to Sherwin-Williams at the time that we were supposed to meet your husband and he showed up on time. He wrote the check out to Sherwin Williams and told us that he apologized. His wife was trying to push him into a paint job that he did not wanna pay for, but now that he's this far he's going to try to paint it we all started laughing. It was four of us sitting there that are crewmembers and two managers from the Sherman Williams store at Vadnais Heights. The husband wrote the check we loaded his 15 gallons into his vehicle and our last words to him were good luck sir. If you're unable to finish it, call us back and we'll work something out for ya, and that was the last time we ever spoke to these people two weeks later Sherwin William calls and says hey you know that customer that wrote the check well it bounced do you know anything about him? I said no I don't know anything about them they said that they were going to take them to conciliation court for the $380 that they bounced their check for, I have nothing to do with it once they wrote the check to Sherwin Williams, then that contract was between Sherwin, Williams, and the person that wrote the check I'm sure they went after her credit and everything else over the bad Jack. The whole story is a lie. We didn't even know that this even existed. We still are painting and never even knew about this review, we stumbled across it because we had changed our website years back and we changed our telephone number into a commercial line. That's why this number and this website don't exist but we are still around. This review has had absolutely no effect on how we do business if you read the first review that was ever put on this yelp that's the real AAA Painting Decorating not Abby's version is a complete lie, I hope that Abby is feeling better with her mental health because I can see that times have changed for her since six years because I'm responding in 2023. I hope she's a better person and I really feel that she needs to apologize to us a AAA Painting Decorating and also to Jimmy's love Jimmy's best walleye fingers in town can't beat it can't even say one bad thing about Jimmy's to the five people that found her review helpful shame on you to even believe something that bizarre. If you still need a painter, look us up.

We hired this painter based on an estimate he gave to us.. after viewing our home. 12 hrs before…read morethe work was to begin he changed the quote and "upped the price". We immediately backed out of the job. He sent us 32 texts demanding we pay for the paint immediately (during a work day on Friday before a holiday weekend). Since we can't leave our jobs we were unable to meet his demands and he served us conciliation paperwork for the whole job. In my honest opinion this company is dishonest, rude, and I strongly do not recommend them.

If you need something painted ASAP, they will get the job done, but if you want it done well I'd recommend finding one of the other well-rated painting businesses in town (they often have waitlists in the 1-3 year length!). We had purchased a home that was overdue for painting, so we had to get it done in 2022, and they did an adequate job at the time. Like other reviews have mentioned, Paris isn't a very detail-oriented company. The workers who were sent out to prep our house didn't know it had lead paint, so had to be reminded to take precautions with laying dropcloths, wearing masks, etc. (This happened essentially every time we had someone out to work on the house over the three years we've worked with them.) People have repeatedly come into our yard without warning to look at the site, one time leaving our gate open so our dog escaped. During the main work, the project manager was rarely on site. Hardware was put back on our house upside down (house numbers and shutter hardware). Workers often didn't know which colors went where. Once the paint was "finished" we had to call them back once if not twice to have someone come out and catch places that were not fully painted. But by the time they were finished in 2022 the house looked good! In 2023 the house still looked okay, but by 2024 the paint had begun to bubble and peel, mostly because the prep had not been done sufficiently. We had Paris out to look at the house in 2024 and they did a little bit of touch-up, but only in the very specific places I pointed out, and even missing a few of those. The places I pointed out were supposed to be examples of the overall issues. In 2025, with our warranty running out, we had them back out to do the touchups. Again the first time workers came out, they only addressed a few of the specific places I had highlighted, even though the majority of every exterior wall was peeling and needed work. Eventually I took 20+ photos of the most egregious issues and those were addressed. I can't remember how many times we've had someone out this season. We weren't fully satisfied by the final visit, but decided we'd had enough of dealing with them. I'm sure we'll continue finding issues-- we recently discovered that workers caulked our garage attic access door shut (?!) without us asking them to, so that had to be cut open again and damaged the paint once again. Basically, if you hire Paris, be prepared to serve as your own project manager. Without our repeated follow-ups the work would have been a 1-star or 2-star quality. As it is, I'd rate the experience as "okay."

Our painting crew and crew chief Tony, and our carpenter Toby, were helpful and meticulous in ensuring everything was repaired, primed, and repainted to our satisfaction. Toby even showed us how to internally disassemble the exterior sliding-door storm windows we have on a back sunroom, so that in the future I can better monitor and touch-up the external windowsill and vertical frame paint to prevent the need for window replacements over the next decade. The painting team's semi-gloss paint brand was matched well to our metal trim color and designed to guard against the Minnesota elements, while Toby's cedar woodwork was solid and precise -- so we're optimistic that Paris' 3-year work-quality warranty won't be needed to call them back into action. We appreciated the comprehensive and detailed estimate they provided for their carpentry-repair and painting, and their willingness to ensure their work was good quality and capable of indefinitely maintaining our house windows' and garage trims' structural integrity.
