Complete Dentistry of Estero is absolutely amazing. Had to have some major dental work done, about 15 appointments over a years time. Before coming here I had extremely bad anxiety when I had to go for dental visits. (Had 2 very painful/bad experiences with a dentist in NY before moving, then again in Naples.) So badly my first visit here Dr. Dinh was kind enough to write me a prescription for 1 valium pill my first visit. After the first official visit, getting work done, seeing how kind, gentle and caring they are the anxiety all but disappeared. Emily the dental hygienist is absolutely amazing as well. I have no complaints about the work, the crowns are perfect along with all the other work they have done over the past year. I highly recommend them. They are efficient but we are not a fan of their upsell techniques. Had a cleaning yesterday and hygienist did cleaning and then applied fluoride. She never asked if I wanted the fluoride. So, when checking out I am charged $26 for fluoride. It seems every appointment, this practice tries to upsell. Not a fan. There are too many other dentists in this area to have to deal with this. The reply to this post was to call them and resolve the issue. I called and they have no one there working by the name of Lance. Hmmmmm. Canned reply? Not very professional.. The office manager did contact me. I am waiting on my $26.00 credit. 03/09/21 Yea! I was given the $26.00 credit on 3/11/21. The office was receptive to my issue. This is the kind of dental practice my wife and I were looking for. It's not a franchise and the atmosphere reflects that. Everyone is friendly and professional. The dentist, Dr. Dinh is great! Very thorough and knowledgeable. Makes you feel very comfortable. I went first and the I referred my wife. When I set up my (very first) appointment, the girl on the phone (Amanda) told me I would receive a CLEANING, a CHECK-UP by the dentist, and a set of X-rays. I REALLY wanted a cleaning . . . so I asked again, and she assured me I would receive a cleaning, a check-up and the X-rays. After getting me there and taking x-rays - they tell me I would NOT receive a cleaning without paying for a (Perio scale root plan) . . . Which is glorified 'dentist talk' for a cleaning. The Perio scale root plan would be an additional $1,318.00 So, I went there for a cleaning. . . . (Was told by their staff I would receive a cleaning) . . . And Left Complete Dentistry having had some x-rays done and a 5 minute check-up. *** ($199.00 LATER) - NO CLEANING. NOT HAPPY ! Not Good Business Practices ! read more

I was in town for a few days eating up all of the good food in Naples when something in my mouth went...crunch...Ugh. I found Dr. Howard through my insurance plan and I must say she did a great job fixing me up. I was in and out of the office in about an hour. She listened to my concerns, told me what the problem was and that she could fix it right then and there. I was concerned that I was going to need a root canal but all it needed was a filling. I agreed and embarked on the nightmare that ended with my teeth being worse off than when I started. I went in for a cleaning. Maria said she couldn't do it because I needed to have scaling done. I didn't have a problem with that and would have scheduled a scaling, but I asked her to perform a basic cleaning not to address any problems but i just wanted to pay for a cleaning today as well. she refused. I left paying 199 dollars didn't get any cleaning just full mouth images and comprehensive oral evaluation. why did she refused to clean my teeth at all? why not? wouldn't the cleaning help I mean it's better than my toothbrush at home. At least until the scaling appointment but instead of just making a customer happy they lost one. They poked all around made my gums bleed in order to check of course for paradontal, said I have it, then wouldn't clean my teeth and then they send me on my way without even rising my mouth. The dental staff are pleasant and friendly. But, the cosmetic dentistry that I received was mediocre. I did not have dental insurance and consequently was charged thousands of dollars for upper dental bridge work that should have been much more aesthetic. I was inconvenienced several times to review dental work that was unacceptable. This was especially stressful for me due to the scare of COVID 19. When at their office, the dentist convinced me that the bridge work was beautiful. But, when I arrived home and looked in my mirror I was not satisfied. We stopped going to this dentist 5 years ago because I felt they were doing procedures that weren't necessary and overall lost my trust and respect for the place. Now, for the second time, our current dentist (who came highly recommended) had to redo cavity fillings done by this practice because they weren't done right. From making my appointment to my visit with the hygienist, the flow of the whole procedure was really great. State of the art equipment and nice facilities. Dr Haidet was really personable and explained things in an easy to understand way. The hygienist was very gentle and thorough. They all seem to get along well and have fun here. I went in December for bonding on one bottom tooth and it turned out fine. That day I also had a panoramic X-ray and there was no mention of any cavities... On 1/2/18 I had a routine cleaning and exam at which time I was told I had one cavity in an upper left tooth, so I decided to get it filled that day. I have been in pain ever since and went to another dentist for their help... They did new left side X-rays and had my records that I had transferred over and it showed that a small cavity was overdrilled and filled which damaged my tooth and now I need a root canal and a crown. I wish I had never chosen to go to the Complete Dentistry of Estero, it has caused me a lot of pain and money. read more

I am aggravated because I Liked this Dental Practice I until to day I scheduled a routine cleaning.. Took time off work to have the cleaning to not even get my teeth cleaned... All I got done is X-rays and the Hygenist gave me advice and suggestions saying I now need a more in-depth Cleaning.. Which Of course doesn't fall under my Preventive routine dental.. Its now gonna cost me over $600 just to get my teeth cleaned and I can't get my teeth cleaned until July... So angry cause All I wanted was my teethed cleaned they could have cleaned my teeth then made the appointment for the in-depth cleaning in the future...Sucks cause Now I have to look for a new dentist for my self and my son.. :( read more

Worst dental practice I have EVER experienced. Do not recommend! Just moved from another state to area with a lot going on and made an appointment for my college son and told them I would bring him there as he was without a car and just moved to the area finishing up his sophomore final exams. They left a message on his phone during his remote college final exams for him to call back to confirm his appointment before noon that day and of course he did not call back. Why would anyone think this was a legit way to confirm appointments is to leave a message and for the patient to call back to confirm. Maybe a better way would be to call back if anything changed from when you called to make the appointment as we said we would be there the first time when we made the appointment. He called after his exams at 2pm and they had cancelled his appointment and already filled it! Are you kidding me! I am so very disappointed that I wish I could give negative stars to this horrible dentist practice office. Horrible Horrible Place! read more

The employees are very nice and the office is beautiful, but at the end of the day I got bad mouth work done and regret ever going here. I went in for a tooth cleaning and was told I have a cavity which is not a big deal except I had never had a cavity before and didn't have any tooth pain. They asked if I wanted to get it filled because they had time and I figured why not. Biggest mistake ever! I paid upfront (by the way the price they give you is an estimate) and sat in a chair for over 3 hours :( while they tried to fill my tooth... till this day I have horrible pain in my mouth from that filling and had lockjaw for about 2ish weeks where I could only open my jaw a centimeter. I went back to the dentist crying in pain and they tried to do x-rays but I couldn't open my mouth wide enough and started crying harder every time the tech tried to pry my mouth open with force, nothing was ever done. Then I get a bill In the mail saying I owe a ton of money when I paid upfront (insurance issue-not their fault, but nobody told me it was and estimate). At the end of the day I understand that accidents and mistakes are always a possibility no matter how miner a procedure is but the way the whole experience traumatized me is something I won't be forgetting anytime soon. read more

I had a great experience at this dentist office! . My front cap fell out on Friday morning. My regular dentist is not open on Fridays so I had to call around until I found a place that could take me. They squeezed me in at the end of the day and forewarned me that I would probably have to wait a significant amount of time . They made me very comfortable and kept checking in on me giving me water while I was waiting . They fixed my And we're so sorry about the length of time I had to wait that they only charged me for the office visit and not the work . Everyone was very nice and attentive . Horribly disappointing. Started late. When I complained that the "apron" was chocking me (for x-rays) and I felt like I was going to vomit I was told "That's your choice". NEVER CLEANED MY TEETH. I was told I needed $3,000 worth of gum work done and that cleaning my teeth would be "a waste of time". According to my legal background that's called "bait and switch". I was told I was in imminent danger of losing all my teeth and my health and in fact, was told "I don't believe you had your teeth cleaned six months ago!" When I said "Are you saying I'm lying?" she backed off. Horrible, horrible place with very cheery people who have one hand in your pocket the entire time. Gave one star because most of the staff is friendly but a $59 new patient cleaning deal turned into a quote for $3000 more "needed" work & another $500 for my daughter. Told me she needed sealants on all her teeth. Funny thing, she just had sealants at our dentist up north 6 months ago. When I told them they informed me sometimes they fall out. So, according to them I'm supposed to pay $500 every 6 months to seal her teeth? They told me I need a crown on a tooth I've had 3 other opinions on & all said do not crown it. Told me a regular cleaning is not acceptable for me, I need to come back in 6 weeks for a "deep cleaning." I've had my teeth cleaned every 6 months as long as I've had teeth & have NEVER heard of that!
