Things have changed here. New, young dentists, cocky. Same with their assistants. Have had tooth that dentists for 17 years have told me need pulled. No issues with it. The tooth recently became abscess. Went to Dr Folke. Have been going here for a few years, apparently my dentist left. This kid, he says "we have been telling you this tooth would be a problem, you need to go to endodontist, its an infection". This was a wed late afternoon. I said I think he should give me an antibiotic, I am in pain. Since all dentists seem to work only 4 days a week now, whats my chances of getting into endodontist? Dr Folke said NO! I went home crying, trying to get into endodontist. Couldnt get appt for 2 weeks. Some were 4 weeks. Found a dentist on Thurs who said I desperately needed antibiotics and prescribed them. Was shocked Fantastic dental didnt give me one.By Friday infection had spread to my face. It was completely swollen, 1 eye almost swollen shut. Had to go to Emergency room. They put me on a 2nd antibiotic, gave me a shot of antibiotics and pain killer and a steroid. They said infection had spread quickly and was bad and to get to endodontist asap. Endodontist got me in "earlier" just for consult. Still had to wait 2 weeks for appts and was put on another round of antibiotics. My family will never go back to fantastic dental. When I asked Dentist and he said no, he commented I should have gotten it taken care of when they told me earlier. He smirked and so did his assistant. it reminded me of the nazi jab pushers. If I listened to dentists, I would have lost this tooth 17 years ago. Dentists want to make money. Its not about your well being. And guess what. Both the other dentist i went to & endodontist said the tooth was saveable. His oath is to do what is needed and I needed an endodontist, yes, obviously. But More than that I needed antibiotics! Instead, I got a massive infection in my face and bones and a ER bill over $10K. I dont regret waiting. 17 years is a long time. read more

They run a horrible practice!! I would stay clear of this dental office. They are not fantastic. Just the opposite!! Disgrace is better name and Dr. Phan is a poor excuse for a dentist. They run a dishonest practice. I had my very first appointment on a Thursday with Dr. Alexis who was actually very good. I made an appointment to go back on Friday, as in the next day at 12 for Dr. Alexis. I was practically forced to come back on Friday. I got a call around 10am telling me the dr. Was running late and to come 12:30pm so I wouldn't have to wait!! Ok great. But I get there and the dr I had the appointment with wasn't there but the "Owner", Dr. Phan. She had to let me know. I do not care she was the owner. She had the personality of a mean woman and I didn't know her. My appointment was with the dr I met the day before. I politely said, no, I will reschedule when the dr. I met and liked is back. Well that was a problem for the narcissistic Dr. Phan. Why when they called me to tell me the Dr. was running late, why didn't they tell me it was a different Dr because the dr I did have an appointment with was "out sick". I would have never wasted my time to go there to see a dentist I have never met before to do any work on my teeth. How self centered could Dr. Phan think it would be ok to do this? To make matters worse, I got a bill from Dr. Phan yesterday saying I owed $69 for missing my appointment. First, I was there. I don't miss my appointment. Rather I was being bullied into having to have an appointment with "the owner" Second, I didn't have an appointment with Dr. Phan!!!! If I could give zero stars I would!! read more

Fantastic Dental Arts lives up to its name! I've been a patient for 4 years and could not be more pleased with the level of care. From Jen and Michelle at the front desk , to Kara who is an outstanding hygienist, to the great skill and care of Dr. Phan, my family has been really happy with this practice. I loved Dr. Phan and Anna.... I went several years for bi-annual checks. I found out from my insurance that for 2 of those years, they never filed a claim. Yeah.... I'm an idiot. I would discuss this with them every time and they behaved in such a kind way saying just to check all my letters from the insurance company for a check. I consistently did this. When I finally had time to follow up with hours on hold, i realized the insurance would have gladly paid. They just had never received any request from Fantastic. NOW, i get this super nasty call from their office telling me to put on my big girl panties and own up to the fact that it was my responsibility to police my insurance company when I was told nicely, and repeatedly, that they would handle it. So, there was some limit on the time you had to contest incorrect insurance situations, and even after I paid many dollars, I was told that because Fantastic waited 2 years to file any claim, that I owed $120. If the call had not been so offensive, I would have paid. Now, I'm going to "collections" for the first time in my life. Stay away.... They all seem so nice, but I've now seen a dentist with Dracula fangs! read more

Total lack of professionalism. After paying for two consultations, one of which included teeth cleaning, the dentist recommended a gum specialist, Miguel Jusino, this periodontist is a joke, the day of the consultation he told me that he did not have the instruments to do the procedure for which I waited a month, the next appointment available would be a month later, because he only goes two or three times a month. Terry (lead clinical) said they will charge me $150.00 on the account of $ 1190.00 , for the total treatment.. The day of the appointment I called the office on my way, I was aware they didn't send me a text, because usually they harass you with text before all appointments, the front desk answered screaming and telling me it had been canceled, I was about to arrive at the office, they said they forgot me. The worst thing of all is the way they told me, between screams and chaos, the cancellation had no explanation, so my treatment was not "urgent" or necessary? since they gave me an option two months later. Jennifer, (customer service), disrespected me, yelling, making fun of me, patronizing, being condescending, and telling me what I had to do. She even said, "you fell thru the cracks." I canceled all my appointments, and I am claiming the advance money that was charged for a treatment that was not performed on me. read more

I was told by the periodontist to wait 5 months to have an infected tooth pulled! It was because I take Prolia. I could've died from infection that would go to my heart! Dr. Jusino is the worst! I went to another periodontist and he pulled the tooth! I am fine! In the meantime the receptionist called me to find out why I was going to another dr! Then the person who cleans my teeth called to tell me the dr was in if I wanted you to come in. Terrible! Don't get involved in my case! After researching my local options in cosmetic dentistry, I noted that Dr. Phan had flawless reviews. I can verify, they're for good reason. The office is very lovely. Sleek and clean, yet memorably posh. The staff was outstanding: accommodating of my emergency, available for me to come without delay, attentive, knowledgeable, experienced, and unquestionably skilled. My temporary veneer is beautiful. Just got back to the dentist after a 10 year hiatus and this place has made it so easy and comfortable to get back in that chair. I don't have the best routine when it comes to caring for my teeth and my first simple cleaning turned into more of a deep cleaning. Victoria, the hygienist, was great and very thorough! I visited Dr. Phan's office for a cavity filling and couldn't have had a better experience! From the beginning you're greeting at the door by Jennifer who has a warm and bubbly personality, she'll instantly make you feel right at home. Eddie, assistant dentist, was also very welcoming and did a great job of getting me settled in. When it was time for the procedure, Dr. Phan did an amazing job of explaining everything and was very professional throughout, not to mention gentle. Utterly thrilled to find Dr. Phan's office where our entire family's dental needs can be met! My husband needed his first crown and received superb care, Dr. Phan was so thorough and took the necessary time to ensure a pain free visit, related out of pockets cost was also reasonable. My teenage son and pre-teen daughter also loved their visits. They both felt delighted that Dr. Phan and her staff explained each part of the process very clearly and made them feel that their questions and input were very important to their dental care plan. I went for a second opinion; it turned into an amazing experience! From the moment I walked into the door at Fantastic Dental Arts, the staff & later, Dr. Phan greeted me with sincerity and enthusiasm. They made me feel as if I was the most important patient they had. I was extensively evaluated, each member of the staff and Dr. Phan EXPLAINED what he or she was doing and why it needed to be done. I also love the fact that they took the time to properly look over my issues, I felt relaxed not rushed. After thorough evaluations, I was given pointers on shortcomings in my dental care that could lead to problems in the future and shown how to correct those gaps. They took the time to listen to my questions and concerns. I felt like part of the team, important to my own dental care, not just some bystander. I highly recommend this dental office to everyone. We all gotta go see the dentist some time no matter what, this is the dental office you will want to be in. I have never been so comfortable in a doctors' office in my life.
