Towards the middle of June, we discovered my boat had a coolant leak in the starboard engine. My boat is a Chaperral 290 signature with twin diesels. It is a Volvo penta powered vessel. I dock my boat at a marina up the intercoastal about 15 minutes away from complete and my local mechanic who comes to my marina told me to bring my boat over to Complete Marine because it may be necessary to remove my engine to get to the difficult to reach place where the coolant was leaking. This is where everything went downhill. The first week my Boat was there. I did not get any call at all. The first day of the second week I called and was told that the mechanic had yet to even look at my boat, but was very busy and will get to it. The third week I called with concern that my boat was still sitting in the water and was not bottom painted, but was assured that it will be taken care of, and that the mechanic was just getting to looking at my boat. More than 20 days since arriving, After finally hearing from the mechanic, he advised that he could not find a leak. I was beside myself, and I was very hesitant to continue with that marina but because my local Mechanic advised me to use them, I sent my local guy over to Complete to show them where the leak was and how he located it. Once my mechanic took his time to go and show their mechanic where the leak was, their mechanic advised that the best thing to do would be to remove both engines and that they will definitely find more than just a coolant leak once they get everything out. I was told to expect a very hefty bill for the hours of removing both engines.. Not only that, they told me that the port engine, the one that was running fine, had a leak as well. (This turned out not to be true). My wife and I had heard enough and we decided to take my boat out of there. Once we got to Complete, we were met with a bill that was over $1000 for basically doing nothing. I argued and the bill was reduced, but what happened next is what truly shocked me. I happen to be good friends with someone who works on diesel generators in the marine industry. His buddy is another certified Volvo mechanic and they met me at my marina. The good news was that they were both skinny and tall and were able to find the location where the leak was coming from in my boat without pulling out the engine. I was shocked to find out that the culprit was a $12 rubber seal and clamp ring that had a hole in it. Instead of paying upwards of $40,000 which is what I was told it could cost from Complete, I might get away with just a couple of thousand dollars in labor and maybe $150 in parts. Honesty is everything in this industry. I cannot trust complete marine at all, and I suggest you really do your homework if you are considering using them for repairs. read more

Do not bring your boat here. Kevin Veliky the manager is a dishonorable scammer. I brought my boat in for a specific reason; the port engine stalled and quit and the shifting cable needed an adjustment. They kept the boat for 5 weeks and charged me $7000 for all kinds of things they claimed to find. I am not a mechanic so how can I dispute anything. I drove the boat to head home and the RPMs weren't running. We turned back to the shop after ten minutes, for them to look at my boat again after they claimed the boat was fixed, and then the RPMs kind of worked so we went back home. Complete Marine claimed the boat needed to warm up. Four weeks later I tried to use my boat, and it wouldn't start for the same reason, the port engine wouldn't start. It also had water in the oil and hull despite just sitting in the slip for four weeks. So it had be towed back to Complete Marine again. They went through it for two hours, and Kevin told me a whole bunch of nonsense about what he thinks it needs and the entire tone of this call is how much he hates my inboard / out board motor boat and I should get a boat with an outboard engine. Imagine the hubris of him advising me to purchase a different boat. He doesn't have the courage to tell me he doesn't want my business. He wants me gone. This was not a phone call to keep me as a customer. Fine. I told him stop stop researching and I'll get the boat out. But I can't drive it. I have to make arrangements to bring it to another mechanic. So I decided to move it via a hauling company on a trailer. That required some planning for about a week. I went to the store in person to pay for two hours of mechanic services in cash, and Kevin told me they installed an ignition switch and he needed 90 minutes to create my invoice. I never approved of that work, and what would take 90 minutes to create an invoice? He could not answer. He made a very big deal about me having to "take care of" this bill before he would release the boat despite that I was right there, in person, with cash, willing to pay. The trailer people were scheduled the next day for 10:30 am. Kevin gets to work at 6:15. At 7:15 I texted him about the bill. He said he needed some time to finish the invoice despite that he had all of yesterday afternoon to do so and we had this appointment set for 10:30 am for the boat to be removed. By 11 am, Kevin still had no invoice prepared. Every time I spoke with him, his answer was, "a few minutes" but those were always lies. Kevin ended up charging me for 9 days of storage, despite that it's entirely his fault that my boat is not repaired and can't simply sail back to my slip because of his lack of service for $7,000. So for all the time he needed to prepare the invoice, he tried to charge me an environmental charge, which he removed after speaking to my attorney, and $1000 for storage, which we had no agreement about. I never brought my boat there for storage. He wouldn't release my boat to the people who would haul it, unless I agreed to these bogus charges which he forced me to do via text. The hauling people weren't able to pull out until an hour after their appointment to do so. For $2100 they forced me to pay under duress, I left with absolutely nothing but my broken boat they neglected to repair for the previous $7000. How dare they charge me for two hours of seeking a reason they didn't fix it the first time. When the boat landed at the new location, neither engine starts now. read more

Take your boat elsewhere, they charge for estimates, break parts then charge you for that, and dont complete services.. i went in for a 300 hour service on quad 425 Yamahas, and left with 2 broken spark plugs that they broke, and they didnt even change the zincs on the engines . read more

From a sales perspective, John K was great and really worked hard from all angles to get our boat sold despite setbacks we had with some mechanical issues. We did have some unexpected repairs but the service department did give us a quote and explanation of what was needed to be done and the issue was resolved. John and his co-worker Jack put alot of effort in advertising and follow-ups to get the deal closed. We were also kept updated along each step of the process and John was extremely helpful and flexible to do whatever was needed since we live out of state to limit the stress on us. Sales Manager Marty Finklestine called to tell me that it was a "service" credit and the next time I brought my boat in for service, it would be applied, all the time arguing with me about by review and wanting it taken down. I started talking to Capt. Mark Beloyan back in August with intentions to sell our boat. I explained to him that we had to have work done on the boat and would not be able to sell it in good faith until it was completed. The company we had come out to do the work gave me a quote to complete the job was $1600, and would be available to start in roughly 2 weeks. That date was being pushed back due to a delay on parts for another job he was working on. I called Complete Marine on Sept 20th, spoke to someone I don't recall the name and explained the work needed and that I would supply the parts and they needed to confirm the labor as the drive and motor had to be removed. Saturday Oct 8th, we dropped the boat off and signed the sales paper work. Service Advisor Tanya Gonzalez handed my wife "a blank" repair order stating that no work would be completed without a written estimate. On Oct 17th I spoke Service Advisor Kevin Veliky informing me that the motor had to come out, the very thing that I had already stated and requested a quote for! No call until Oct 22nd, Mark tells me that my motor was Blown October 23rd I went up to see what was going on to find my motor on a pallet under some plastic and my freshly recovered rear hatch in the open on a trailer. Monday the 24th I speak with Ed and told him I would coming to pick up the boat. I arrived Sat the 29th to see the motor in the same place and condition, the boat on the other hand was moved further back in the yard. Had a good chat with Ed up to the point when he said he hadn't completed the invoice yet and when asked how much he said it was like $5,500! I explained to him that I never received a quote nor ever heard from Kevin other than the motor had to be pulled which again goes back to why it was there in the first place! My wife who has been out of country returns and we go back Nov. 7th to resolve the miscommunication and retrieve our boat, Ed presents us with a $5500 bill which we then move to the back of the building so other potential victims can't hear our conversation. Ed, Capt. Mark, Service Advisor Tanya Gonzalez and now a Sales Manager Marty Finklestine start the circle jerk all as Owner David Giannone is watching from afar. Tanya straight up lied to all of us about the estimate as Marty proceeded to tell us they don't give estimates. Blood pressure is rising and tempers are boiling over so we left after negotiating a ridiculous invoice for some marine hacks to rip apart our boat. Today is Nov 11th Veterans Day of which I am and my son currently serving. Nov 12th bright and early motor blocked in by another boat, going over the paperwork to pay the bill and get our boat out of here. The agreed 16 hrs. was not adjusted and charged 23.25 hrs. at $169 an hour. Please note there is no signage anywhere visible informing you of this. The original work order authorization document was altered "My Wife" signed a blank top half, which then then put my information on the top. hmmmmm I clearly instructed Kevin in service that the drive and motor needed to be removed and requested a quote. No work would be completed without an estimate per Tanya Gonzalez. After billing 16.25 hrs. playing with the motor inside the boat they spent another 8 hrs. to remove the engine all without a quote or knowing they are charging $169 and hour! They charged for work not completed "cut bolts from heads and found water in cylinders on starboard side" the engine is intact! They took a month for them to rip us off and damage our freshly recovered hatch cover while removing incorrectly and bending the shock. Complete Marine is truly an unethical and dishonest company going as far as to push the boundaries of corrupt and fraudulent. I regret ever getting involved with this stealership, I hope this review will save other potential victims the potential brain damage and financial hardships we have. Please Beware !! when considering Complete Marine for boat repairs, following a regrettable experience. Post-repair of my fuel gauge and generator by their team, my boat's fuel was exhausted in less than a week, necessitating a tow. Further inspection revealed a misconfigured GFI10 and they left broken pieces of impeller blades in my generator, indicating a possible deficiency in their mechanics' expertise. Before I took my boat to complete marine I got several estimates I was Quoted just over 2k but they wanted to remove the motor and couldn't get to it for weeks.Went to Complete Marine and asked one of the reps I need a estimate also can you do it with out taking out the motor to fix Bravo itus He said sure bring in the boat and we'll take a look. Took a little while to get back to me,he said we got it all apart wow !! I wasn't expecting that just assumed I was getting a estimate!!! and suggested I could use a new Gimbal housing drove there to look and asked $$ i said no if its not broken why change it. They have many hours in it so far ,they called and its fixed but they said the mechanic hears a skip in the running motor we'll do a compression test i said yes to that a couple hours tack on$ ,,,,,was told low compression in one of the cylinders also its hard to put in gear I said thats not right I just had a boat company install a new throttle control and cables everything was working gear shifting too. I said I'll have them look at ,,.. also had to bring it to my motor mechanic. Who installed my new motor ,that was minor and under warranty,,My bill was more than double with CM,, I paid it I was pissed sure they checked the motor to see if it was more than Brovo itus 3 hours for that too, I got the boat back to see the sloppy caulking job. The other company said the gear cable is frozen stiff. I took it back to complete marine, with no work order I signed.... just clean that slop caulking and fix yr f, k up. I saw the whole housing just hanging off the transom of course the gear shift cable is in there some where.. Obviously your mechanic installed it wrong or broke it.. they said we'll clean the caulking on us and we'll check the cable that means $$ ,as I told them there was no problem with the shifting gears ,,,,,before I took it back to CM I alone stared the motor and shifting no problem 2 weeks prior .. and I have another mechanic also who installed my new motor will Testify along with company who installed my throttle control that everything was working...so now they want me to pay for their f,,up,, Do not use Incomplete Marine their a rip off!! Had a wonderful experience at complete Marine staff was more than helpful. They did a great job on my Catamaran.

Buyer Beware, I purchased a used boat which was advertised as "in extremely nice condition and all engine service was up to date" according to the sales person. I found out the hard way that this was not the case the boat has been in shops since I bought it three months ago engine repairs, electrical repairs, trailer repairs, fiberglass repairs and being ghosted by company. I have sent TM ,emails, and calls only to get a text from the sales person who advised not our problem read your contract and even highlighted the blurb "as is" in the contract. I live over three hundred mile away so an in person visit, not practical. My experience seems to be the normal business practice for this outfit and I just wanted to give any potential customer a heads up! BUYER BEWARE!! read more
