Previously Angler's Avenue Marine Center, I've done business with this marina under various names and different ownerships over the past decade and have never been disappointed. Over that period of time it has constantly continued to improve and is now what I would consider to be the best marina around offering a total range of marine services and equipment. It by and far has the best bang for your buck for experienced labor, good workmanship, parts and equipment. I also like their location on the Dania Cut Off, which is far less cramped and more spacious than those located along the Intracoastal which always seem to have a more rushed more hassle of an environment in which to perform marine services. read more

I bought a boat from this place 4 years ago, and ended up with a bad experience. After addressing the issue with Management, they tried to make it right. For this reason I choose to come back again and give it another chance after all, to sell the same boat again. I spoke with Joseph in sales, and gave him all the details of the boat and asked if this would fit in. He said he would get right on it. After this, I didn't hear back. I called several times and sent text messages, no response. Two weeks later I finally got him on the phone where he promised to get on it right away. Another week went by with no reply. Reminders were sent, still no reply. I called him up again and again he said he was super busy, but this time, 3 weeks later he said he would probably not even be able to sell the boat. This was 3 weeks waste of time. If you don't have time to take in new clients, tell them. And if you don't think the boat is a match to sell, let the client know. This is super unprofessional. Wife and kids went paddle boarding at Nautical Ventures. We got the phone number from Concierge at Hilton Resort. The place is mostly known for selling boats. The kids were given a lesson by the instructor we met on the side of the building . The water in the intracoastal was nice. Kids jumped in and both instructors stayed with them the whole time. They were both very patient. Problem is you wouldn't know this is a paddle board rental location. Anyway kids had a great time paddle boarding there first time . By the way price is very reasonable 2 hours of paddle boarding and quick lesson for $35.00 per person which includes board. Give it a shot, great for beginners and next level paddle boarders . I purchased a Malibu kayak in 2015 and a Bote SUP in 2017 from Nautical Ventures. In both cases I had issues with customer service after the initial purchase. After the SUP purchase, I ordered some spare parts and accessories and was told I would be notified when the parts were in. Over a period of two months and numerous phone calls it is now obvious that Nautical Ventures has no intent on ordering the parts or providing any customer service. As we all know the marine industry is comically incompetent. However Nautical ventures are even an embarrassment to the marine industry. They fixed my tender a few months ago to the tune of 9k and it completely failed after about a month. They've had it for a month and can't even give me a price quote to fix it again. They rented me a tender with deflated tunes and no adapter for the included pump. And the hits just keep on coming.... The engine stalled every single time I started it and--- after one use the motor tilt stopped working. Oh I forgot to mention it was three hours late on delivery. They were not even apologetic and just said it worked when they gave it to me. I am shocked they are in business. Pls , don't do business with them!!! We need to vote with our wallets here. I needed some major mechanical work done on my Yamaha outboard, and took the boat to Nautical Ventures. They completed the necessary repairs to my outboard quickly, and when I picked up the boat, the invoice was actually lower than the original quote. The service manager, Jason Packlain, was great to work with, seems very knowledgeable and trustworthy. The boat was also cleaned and ready for the water when I picked it up. For my birthday, my boyfriend Kamil surprised me by booking a trip down to Fort Lauderdale. Knowing that my favorite animal is a manatee, he also wanted to see if there were any way to go swimming or paddle boarding with them. After hours of researching where to go we stumbled upon Nautical Ventures which was a mere 10 minutes away from where we were staying. We immediately called and spoke with Tatiana, the owner who was extremely accommodating and helpful. After booking the trip, a few days later our trip was being jeopardized by an impending snow storm heading our way. We called Tatiana several times figuring out what to do and when to reschedule if needed and she was always available to help us any way she could. When the day came to go paddle boarding, we were 30 minutes late due to our cab never showing up. We again called Tatiana who by this time knew us by name and she told us not to worry. Finally arriving to our lesson, we were introduced to our instructor Mileto who instantly became a good friend of ours. He was so patient with all of us learning to paddle board for the first time. He talked a lot about the canal and paddle boarding giving us facts we would have never know. We had an absolutely incredible time paddle boarding through the canal. We even got to see the manatees that I wanted to see so bad ! Over all this experience has made an ever lasting impression on both Kamil and myself (Kristen). Hubby scheduled a paddle board demo at Nautical Ventures. Ryan and Dillon set us up and were polite and knowledgeable about the various boards. We tried Bote in a variety of lengths and models. Ryan provided some paddle instruction as well. He had me try a Werner Ignite paddle and that's the one I'll buy. The canal we paddled on was home to 2-3 huge iguanas which was was cool. Very little boat traffic so fun to paddle and maneuver. Low pressure environment and Ryan answered all of our questions and was easy to chat with. I bought an Axopar 28 Cabin from the Dania Beach store. Just took delivery today and can't wait to put it in the water this weekend. Their "try before you buy" made my decision to purchase this boat very easy. The service department did some very extensive customizing for me and the quality of their work is excellent. It's easy to have a good experience when everything goes smoothly, I feel it says far more about a company when you see how they handle problems. As with any custom project, there were unexpected issues that arose. I was very impressed with the way that Mike and Jason handled the issues, always keeping me informed as to the progress and resolutions. The end result is beautiful. The attention to detail is second to none. I will be having them do all my future service even though I live in South Dade and there are a number of service centers near my home , its worth the drive for me knowing that I will be getting first class service. read more

I'd give 10 stars to Chance Brown at Nautical Ventures if I could! Incredible service, incredible responsiveness, incredible attitude and always, always going the extra mile. I was looking for a jet tender for my new yacht and, with Chance's help, selected the RibJet 10 Sport. Fits well on my boat's platform, no outboard hanging over and not too heavy. I absolutely love it! As the mother ship was new, I wanted to customize also the RibJet accordingly. And I had a lot of special requests... colors, accessories, an even using the same fabric as the mothership for the upholstery and having that sent from Italy. Whatever I wished for: Chance helped in the decision process, sending pictures, examples, options and made absolutely everything possible. I didn't hear "no" once, only "no problem, I'll take care of it". On top of that and as I'm not based in Florida, Chance managed most via phone and email and at awkward times as I was often communicating from Europe. He made the extra effort to visit me at the boat yard in Deerfield Beach, where the mothership was being outfitted, with color and material samples, he brought over another RibJet in a tight time window from his shop to allow to fit the chocks on the mothership's platform, he stayed late and kept the shop open for me when I came by and got stuck in traffic, he got a GPS unit mounted in the last second and adjusted the cover accordingly, he even delivered the finalized tender, etc, etc. etc. And always with a smile! This was more a 2 month project than simply buying something and the experience I had was no less than AMAZING. Without a seconds hesitation, I 100% recommend Chance and Nautical Ventures. They are definitely my place of choice for the future. Life is great with experiences and service like this! read more

Sales area and people really nice. Brought my boat in to add a few more bells and whistles to it. Can't say much about service center, seems unorganized and I made several calls about status and work being done. After not getting an answer and getting transferred to a woman there, I finally drove there and spoke to Mike I think he's a service supervisor or tech. After waiting for the manager who never came, Mike asked how he could help and this guy knows his stuff! During my time with him, he was called on the radio and hunted down by other employees. Don't know how he does it if that's everyday. He was very patient and answered all my questions. After picking my boat up, I called and asked for him because I could not get my new GPS tuned and another small issue. Who ever answered (accent French) said he'd send someone to my house. I said I only wanted mike, seems like the only one that knows what's going on and a real patient guy too. I've been to other Marinas but I've seen a lot of turnover since this is not my first time dealing with Nautical Ventures. Five star customer service! Domenico and Chance were great to work with! I purchased a Highfield dinghy from this location and couldn't be happier. I had prearranged the purchase of it with my work and had a evening window to get it. I was driving up from Key West, and when I put Nautical Ventures into my iPhone it pulled up the West Palm Beach location. Bottom line is I did not catch the error until I arrived at the West Palm location at 5:30 PM and the Fort Lauderdale store closes at 6:00. Ouch! I was an hour and fifteen minutes from the store! I called Domenico on the phone and explained the issue to him. He wanted to make sure I didn't drive all those hours for nothing. He told me that one of the employees, Chance, had volunteered to stay back and go to the warehouse with me after hours to grab the dinghy. I didn't get to the store until 7:30pm and Chance was there to meet me. We amazingly fit the dinghy inside my 4Runner and I got it back to Key West that night. I'm very appreciative that Chance went above and beyond so that I didn't waste all that driving time! Thanks guys! Customer Service isn't dead! read more
