Initial visit went well, the agent was kind and listened to our concerns and checked out our problem areas. We didn't see any more spiders. My rating is missing stars due to the fact that communication with this company is terrible! I was being charged monthly $39/mo, the first time I noticed the charge, no one had even come out to spray (I work from home). I guess they come out monthly which is not what I was told by the phone agent when getting a quote, this drastically increased the overall cost. They don't let us know before they come out. I never received a bill, contract, or email receipt until today. I couldn't even log in to my account online because I was never given my account #. Today an agent actually left us a paper invoice and I was able to cancel service. Again when I explained the error in communication, the phone agent who cancelled my service explained the payment and amount of time they come out differently. STEER CLEAR! And if you have to use them, GET A PAPER CONTRACT AND ACCOUNT NUMBER AT THE FIRST VISIT.

Furthermore, their "satisfaction guarantee" is completely meaningless. Technicians routinely failed to show up during their scheduled windows. Sticking people into contracts when you are not holding your end of the deal is not the right thing to do. I asked more than once about the whole yard being treated. I have alot of gophers and want all the grubs and other food sources eradicated. He told me more than once that the yard would be treated. When the person came to apply the treatment to my yard he only put the granules right around the house. Even though what the service is was misrepresented I will still be held to the year contract. Buy a container of Home Defense and put down your own insect granules. I don't like to put down the granules is the only reason I decided to give Moxie a try. I will now be paying them AND treating my yard myself. I should have known better.
