Recently I noticed a few small areas on the garage thresholds where the coating had pulled loose from the extreme heat and garage door sticking to the concrete. I reached out to Joel Allspaugh and sent him some pics of the problem areas. He had their service manager, Tin come out and with his helper Joseph they repaired the places to look like new! Since when was the issue of the quality of your service pertaining to the before and after? Rhetorical question - it's not. If you read what I wrote and of others who are reading care to look at the picture I posted of what you said you were going to do VS what you actually did, anyone could plainly see that you were absolutely not even in the same realm of finished product... which you lead me to believe is what you'd do, for 5k... Now, considering the job was so poorly done with not even the slightest consideration given to doing a patch and asking me if that's what I wanted since it was so different, I can only infer that your company is too busy trying to rush a job and get paid rather than apply critical thinking. Don't try to cloud the issue by showing the poorly done stain that another company did before I hired you... Yes, believe it or not (anyone who's reading) this happened before this particular company came in and ruined my floor. I asked for a certain style, the contractor said they could do it, and it came out horribly done and not even close to what was agreed upon as the finished product I was paying for. How could this happen to me twice in a row? Very bad luck in choosing a floor specialist apparently. You can show whatever before and after you want, but the important one is what YOUR company gave me as the example work, and then the completely different floor you did, and on top of it all you had the nerve to charge me saying you could fix it and didn't, and now you have the nerve to try and defend yourself by moving the goal posts by posting a picture that's unrelated to my issue. I'm not a litigious person but I'm telling you now I've got a mind to go to small claims with this, the more I think about it. Literally 100% of people polled when showed what you advertised VS what you did have said the same thing, which was "What the ****"

Never would I recommend Element 7. Where to begin with Element 7?? Had our custom house built and…read moreour builder chose Element 7 for our epoxy garage floor. This was the first mistake. They showed up and installed the floor. Came by a few days later to observe that it looked like a patchwork quilt on the surface with roller marks all over the entire floor. Called them up and even stopped by their facility and made arrangements for someone to come by and take a look at the horrible job. Arrangements were made to come back and resurface the floor. This too did not work or come out as expected. They said roller marks were "normal". Had a floor installed by a company in CA back at our home, while out of town, and it came out perfect the first time and enjoyed it for many years before selling the home. Element 7 agreed to come back and re-try to replicate the floor we had in CA. Well let me tell you, that did not didn't work either. Too much sealer and super glossy and scratched easily. Time #4 - Element 7 came back out, took the surface down and re-did the entire floor, new paint chips and everything. This time certainly more time/care was taken in installing the floor, yet again though, roller marks and what appeared to be crop circles in the surface of the floor. Had the OWNER Caleb stop by and see it with his own eyes. Absolutely unacceptable. They then prepared a "document" which was a joke, saying that if we come out one more time to "try" and make it right, that it would be last time they were coming out and we would "have" to accept it without further action or refund. Horrible way to conduct a business. TIME #5 - Element 7 came back again, with a gentleman that had been in the business doing decorative concrete for over 10+years to supervise the crew. They sanded down the surface and reapplied the sealer. Well wouldn't you know it still lines in it. Final assessment of Element 7 - They don't know how to do a simple epoxy floor without leaving roller marks all over the place and yet they think it's good? Emailed the owner (Caleb) at the end of how disgusted we are with "final" product that we are now stuck with, and NO RESPONSE at all, great customer service! Haha Steer clear of Element 7. DO NOT USE!!!

Last second minor changes were seamlessly completed without a delay nor "you want us to change that" response. They also do not nickel & dime you to death. Minor changes were absorbed. Larger requests were added at a very reasonable increment to the project cost. Would I use them again, "yes." In fact, I plan to have LOTX review my backyard and propose how to redo it.
