Sam to the rescue for my family again! 1st time he reupholstered my dining room chairs. Did an awesome job with a fast turn around. This time the week before thanksgiving week, my son got sick on the couch, 2 unsalvageable couch cushions. I've had multiple motorcycle seats done by Sam and he never ceases to amaze me with the quality of his work. In fact, as I type this review Sam is working on yet another seat for me. He's done different styles for me whether it's brat style, superbike, retro cafe seats, complete custom seats, or reupholstery and the work is always exceptional. On the last job he did for me it was hard-to-find Diopa seat from Europe with a difficult shape and I asked him to reupholster it with a really unforgiving and stiff Alcantara EXO material. I have not been so amazed doing bus with someone like this in many years. I simply picked Sam from YP.com as well as 3 others. He was the only one who returned my call. Sam came to my house in Murrieta and we told him what we wanted fixed. His price was a HOME RUN. We set a time for pick up. Sam said that he'd have the leather sofa and in 4 days. That was 9am. I called up Sam about a Ford Ranger driver seat recover. He came over and agreed to do the job but said that he couldn't do it with the exact kind of tweed material that came on the seat from the factory but that he would come close. When he brought the seat back, it was nowhere near close, making the two seats in my truck mismatched. The seat upholstery tensioner strip at the shoulder height had been left unsewn, leaving the seat upholstery to sag and the slide mechanism didn't work anymore. I'm pretty disappointed since I overpaid Sam in trade for the job. read more

I took my reclining couch cushions to Sam to repair after the cat was done tearing them up over the past year. The fabric he used is almost identical to what I had to begin with in color and texture. The work was complete when promised, in just a couple of days & they look great! I wish I could give this company zero stars. I was promised over and over again a completion date for my project. Mind you, these dates were provided by Sam not me. He would promise to have it done by a certain date and on that date I would call and find that he had not touched it. When I finally had enough and went to pick up my car, I was told "I'm sorry we couldn't meet your time schedule." It never was "my time schedule."All dates were provided by Sam but they he was unable to meet any of them. Go elsewhere if you're looking for someone that will complete the project in a timely manner and be honest with you. If you like being over promised and never delivered go to Sam.
