All the nurses were very pleasant who i dealt with even the one smashing my breasts between 2 plastic plates , she was very amiable. I hate usually scheduled my mammograms at the Royal Oak Beaumont because it's near work but that would take me an hour or more so now my new thing is to go to trade Beaumont on a Saturday morning/afternoon.

As an aside, I love the fact that in Michigan you can just say "the Bridge" and everyone knows what bridge you are referring to. This facility is fantastic. My wife had an appointment with an oncology doctor at 9:00 this morning. After an examination and discussion, the doctor said that he would like my wife to have a full body cat scan. When the appointment was over, we went to radiology department to see when we would need to come back downstate for that test. Knowing that we live a 5+ hour drive back, even though they were booked full, they managed to squeeze my wife in at 2:00 PM. There are three people that I would especially like to thank in the oncology department. Brigit and Sochil were working the oncology desk, and both were very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, and we greatly appreciated their efforts on our behalf - hence this review. I would alarm like to thank Sarah, the oncology nurse navigator. Actually, every single person that we encountered here was wonderful - from cafeteria workers, to medical staff, to cleaning staff, to ... Also, parking is free in the car park is free for patients. This facility, and especially the staff, truly care about their patients.

We began getting statements for balance due in January. Despite the fact that insurance had paid the balance in full, the office sent monthly overdue statements and threats to go to collections. You cannot reach anyone in his office to try to get resolution. You have to leave a message. The recording says that someone will call you back with 24 hours. I left a total of six messages over several weeks. On the SIXTH try, the billing person finally called me back and acknowledged that we owed zero on this account. Insurance had paid it several months prior. She told me that she has no idea why "the system" keeps mailing statements that reflect overdue balances and threats for collections. The thing is if my 91-year-old father would have been receiving these threats he probably would've paid the bill that he never owed. I don't know how many other times this may happen to people, but I'd be careful if you decide to use this office.

Dr. M doesn't listen, doesn't answer questions, doesn't explain…read morediagnosis or treatments, he doesn't give you agency to make decisions about your own health, and he blames his mistakes on his (female) staff. I wonder if he treats all his patients like this or just the female patients? It is very suspicious how young and pretty ALL the staff are. I only saw 2 women over the age of 30. That speaks volumes! Dr. M barely talked to me before prescribing me medication. He kept trying to leave the room while I was still talking to him. I asked him a question, he shrugged and walked away without answering me! The medication he gave me was very strong and hazardous to take. Dr. M didn't discuss the medications many side effects, many drug interactions (one of which I had), risks of taking the medication (which include cancer!), or handling instruction (you are not suppose to handle the medication with bare hands!). I had serious side effects. He told me to keep taking the medicine because the side effects will go away. After 2 more weeks on the medication I was bedridden and almost hospitalized from side effects. I went to see him about it, the first thing he said was "I don't need to hear about it" because I was just dehydrated. I told him that the Mayo Clinic website says these are symptoms of a severe reaction to the med. He told me "Everything is a side effect" and that it wasn't from the medication. And told me I could do "Whatever I wanted." WHAT?!?! I consulted another specialist. They were shocked and told me to spot talking the medication immediately because I was on the verge of having a heart attack (even though I am young and health). WORST DOCTOR!!

I was in a horrible car accident in 2002 and have had to deal with many medical professionals. Dr. Anibal Drelichman MD a Hematologist/Oncologist and his wife and team member, Dr. Vilma Drelichman, MD Infectious disease/Travel clinic are two of the most kind hearted and caring Physicians (along with my GP, Dr. Peter Bullach who I also wrote a great review about earlier) that I have had the pleasure to come across! No one likes to go to the Dr's of coursel But if you get sick and you find yourself looking for one of these kinds of Dr's above, please don't hesitate to call them. They are extremely knowledgable and helpful with a great bedside manner and caring, helpful attitudes. They checked things out and found out certain things that other Dr's have missed. I am so glad to have found them because it's very hard to find a good and kind specialist these days; believe me; I have had to see more than my fair share of them since that car acccident. Dr. Drelichman even went so far as to give my husband his cell phone number for a certain occasion, knowing that we would never abuse thta privilage and that we would toss out that number right after the time that we had to use it. One time I called their office to ask if they had a son who was another medical professional and the office employee told me "yes" and gave me their son's phone number. I called that number and their son's employee actually paged him while I was on "hold" and asked him some questions and came back to the phone and gave me the information that I needed! I was astounded that in this day and age, that people would do something so kind and helpful. It was a caring act made by a caring employee and a very caring physician who is in a whole famiy that seems to be of caring physicians who also have hired great employees! Thank you again to Both of the Dr' Drelichman's for helping me and for continuing to help me as things come up! If you have a blood problem or Cancer or are travelling to a 3rd world country and need innoculations; or if you have an infectious disease...please go and visit this Dr's office and these great Dr's!
