I'm extremely disappointed with the lack of organization and communication at this office. My significant other was contacted before his appointment and told he would be receiving crown treatment. After driving an hour to get there today, he was suddenly informed that the appointment was only for a filling and that the crown treatment is now being pushed back to April. This is completely unacceptable. His appointments have already been rescheduled multiple times, and the constant changes show a clear lack of coordination. This level of inconvenience and inconsistency is ridiculous. Do better. read more

I've been coming here for about 3 years since they moved me from Glendale and they were pretty organized in the beginning but the last couple of times i've come to an appointment they always seem to have an issue with the money or a manager available for the uber ride compensation, the thing is that wouldn't have been a problem if they let me know ahead of time, they always tell me to let the front desk know ahead of time about me going to my appointment in an uber so they have the record of it but never make the same effort to let me know ahead of time when they don't have the compensation, multiple times they've let me know once i arrived that they wouldn't have it leaving me to find a way to get back home and that's very unprofessional on their part the least they could do is notify if there is/will be any problems with the compensation so you can plan out how you will get back home. The service from the doctors is pretty good I would say it's just the front desk of both the dentist and doctor side that need better training. read more

I came in for an optometry appointment The front staff was kind friendly and helpful when it came to my registratio. Process when I was called in to my appointment the MA that help me was sweet and walked me through every step of the way what was gonna be done to me and what was coming next. Once Dr.Baghoumian came in she walked me through the full exam was giving me updates on my eyes as she was doing my exam. She was kind Informative and patient. She took the time to answer all my questions. I was happy on how quick and easy they made my appointment. I will definitely be recommending this place to my family and friends. read more

Melissa and Madeline were so helpful in the way I was treated today. Struggling with the onset of an eye infection, and without an appointment, I was able to be treated. I patiently waited for a solution and while waiting, I witnessed several rude patients aggressively handling the staff here. And each time I was called to the front desk, those challenging patients did not sway the care and service I was given here. The staff here tries to take care of everyone. It is clear. I have been coming here for about 3 years and always see Dr Park and he has always taken very good care of me. Elizabeth is, without exaggeration, the definition of 0% class and 100% entitlement. Every visit has been the same: waiting well past your appointments while enduring the attitude that oozes from the front desk, especially her and I'm not the only one who has noticed. Other patients have said the same. Whoever hired Elizabeth did your business a huge disservice. In healthcare, the front desk is the first point of trust for patients. She destroys that trust the moment you walk in. Her unprofessionalism, lack of basic respect, and constant air of superiority are so off-putting that they've made me stop valuing my care here entirely. Elizabeth carries herself as if she's some high-ranking executive, yet she's clearly inexperienced, here to pad her résumé, and her immaturity shows in every interaction. If she intends to stay in healthcare, she should save us all the trouble and take a hard look at how she treats people, because with her current attitude, she has no place around patients. She doesn't greet people; she stares. She whispers to the point you can't hear, then acts like you're the problem for asking her to repeat herself. I've watched her blatantly ignore elderly patients seeking help. She behaves as though doing the job she's paid to do is somehow beneath her. Elizabeth, you never know who will be on the other side of that desk one day. Your behavior isn't just bad customer service; it's a complete lack of basic human decency. After my visit, I had technical difficulties with the prescription, but their supervisor, Ani, was very helpful and fixed the problem within a minute. I highly recommend this place. Do not trust the five star reviews that are very short. I have similar experiences with every single person here who gave 1 star. My appointment was today on April 19th, 2023 at 3:45 pm with Nurse Practitioner Christine Maroney. During the appointment, I requested a yearly Pap-Smear and refill of my oral contraceptives, as well as a referral to a dermatologist for skin problems. However, Ms. Maroney refused to provide me with the care I needed. She dismissed my concerns about my previous abnormal Pap results and refused to perform a Pap smear. Her unprofessional and dismissive attitude was exemplified when I asked about a skin rash I've been having and she told me to use Aquaphor and Neosporin, which provided no help. Ms. Maroney's bedside manner was curt, rude, and condescending. She did not take the time to listen to my concerns and instead told me to "exit where the door is." I was appalled by her behavior and lack of empathy towards me as a patient. This is just one of the many incidents. I'm too tired to write all of them but please don't go to this clinic if you have very serious health issues. read more

Dr. Ghanevati has been my Primary Care Doctor for several years now. My living situation and place of residence are going to be possibly changing. Having to leave Dr. Ghanevati is one of the hardest parts of this move. When you connect with a person who basically has your life in their hands, you have been given a true life gift. I have the utmost confidence in her abilities and know she has my best interest at heart. She shares in my health victories and offers kind advice in areas where I could grow. I feel listened to and cared for by her and her support staff. I have some struggle areas, and she shows great concern and compassion. Despite working in a very busy clinic, I never feel rushed or put off. Leaving her care is a scary thing. I'm blessed to have her, and I am aware of that. Extremely Grateful. I never leave, not understanding the avenue of care I am receiving and why. I highly recommend her and Comprehensive Community Health Centers. read more

Horrible experience. Do not recommend. Very disappointed. This isn't my first time here. I keep coming back because it's in the city I live in. Something important to add is, do not be over 6 minutes late. Grace period is 6 minutes and even if you make it within the 6 minutes they will not take you. The receptionist asked the other receptionist "can we still take her?" clearly the option for taking me in was there but they did not "feel" like it or at least that's how it seems. Already started looking for a new doctor's office. I will also be posting my review on the Sunland-Tujunga page so others know that the type of care & quality is not worth it. I'm not a fan of this office and changed my doctor's office recently after my insurance had assigned me to them at the beginning of this year. The doctor was nice and took time to answer my questions whenever I saw her, which is the only reason I'm not giving one star but here are the reasons for the low ranking: * Their front office system is quite poor. I got a call from them the day before an appointment to confirm and this is the conversation: Them: Why are you seeing the doctor? Me: For a follow up. Them: Follow up for what? Me: Shouldn't you know that? Them: Well it's not in my notes. Me: Well the doctor is the one that asked me for a follow up. Them: This is a different system... Me: Well why do you need to know? Them: So the doctor knows what the follow up is for... Me: (sighs in disbelief and gives up) it's a follow up for stomach pain... * (To preface, I have previously gotten blood drawn numerous times for labs and have always just gotten a call to give me my results and told everything was fine. This was a quick call by the doctor who had seen me) I had gone into an appointment to get my blood drawn here. A few days later I get a call and told I need to set an appointment to get my results. I am immediately concerned as this is a first. I asked if there was something wrong and am told "I cannot discuss results with you but the doctor will go over it. When can you see the doctor?" I make the earliest appointment available for the next day. After a 24 hour of anxiety and worry, I am told everything is fine. This just seemed like this office wanted to bill my insurance for a doctor visit rather than have their doctor give me a 30 second phone call. * The staff, while friendly enough to the patients, seem to have a shortness and lack of friendliness between themselves. Makes you wonder what kind of poor management or systems are in place for such poor morale. read more

I like my Dr. I like my Dentist. I like my Optician. What I don't like this the constant ineptnesses of this organization. For instance, I've been waiting for test results for over 6 weeks and had a phone consult finally scheduled after numerous calls. Did it happen? No, because they scheduled it for an in person appointment. So, I'm still waiting for the results. It took me over 4 months to get a correct contact prescription because of clerical errors, and don't even get me started on waiting for a referral for a regular procedure. Like I said the people who work there are nice, all I can think is that the systems they have in place are in need of a big overhaul because dealing with this organization is exhausting and frustrating. read more

The Worst all around experience of my life. Please be careful when going to this Clinic. They lie, and make baseless accusations to Child Services. 0 stars would'nt be low enough. I only feel comfortable talking about it now because Child Services issued an apology to my wife & I. After a 2 month invasive investigation CPS dropped the case. I see it now is proof of the lies and baseless accusations comprehensive care tryed to bestow upon me. But they failed. I took my five-year-old son to the tujunga comprehensive care clinic. We lost our health care and haven't seen a doctor in a year. He needed to catch up on some immunizations before starting school. Also he's a finicky eater. So, I asked for a blood test. I wanted to see if he had any deficiencies. The one good moment, which was quickly overshadowed. I ask the doctor about a reaction my son had to an immunization cocktail. When he was 2 years old he had a fever and vomiting for a month-and-a-half. She was truthful about it. She explained to me that a fever of 103.0 and vomiting is a known side effect of mixing all 4 of these vaccinations at one time. She said that it was a mistake giving him all four at the same time. She added that it shouldn't have lasted for a month and a half. I explained to her that I was worried about giving him more than one immunization at this time and her and I agreed that he wouldn't get an immunization shot this doctor visit. She made sure to explain to me that any damage done to my son would not have been from the vaccination. But when I explained that the reaction that he had due to vaccinations.( a high fever and not being able to eat for a month and a half) could have negatively affected his development. She agreed. The nurse ignore the doctors directive to not administer a immunization shot at this time. She came in with the syringe 3 different times. After being told by me twice in the doctor a second time. I could see the irritation on her face. Come to find out that nurses get Kickbacks from pharmaceutical companies for every shot that they give. He was above the height and was a good weight for his age. And we left with a prescription for an iron supplement because a blood test showed that he was anemic. Just as I suspected. Long story short after two month investigation from Child Services. They came to my house, to my son's school and pulling him out of class to talk to him. I find out from the CPS worker that comprehensive care told child services that I had said. I had never taken him to the doctor. Which what is a complete fabrication. I had all the records to show to CPS even the emergency room visits after having the cocktail. And they also told child services that I refused to vaccinate my son. Knowing that the state would react to that negatively. Because for some reason the state feels that they are equal partners to every parent and that they have the right to administer whatever drugs or viruses to yourchildren without your consent. Which is unconstitutional. I believe the doctor and I had a very good understanding and I was being cautious after learning that he had a bad reaction to an immunization. And I was glad she told the truth when it comes to immunizations cuz normally they won't. Please be careful when taking your children to this Clinic I suggest going somewhere else if you can. They might just turn the world upside down and put a and Justified Spotlight on your life while also giving you a record with CPS. read more

They are not in schedule, I have to be there at lease 10-15 min, then whoever came after me goes inside I wait more than 30 min after my appointment time and still no one called me inside. The receptionist, looked at me wired and talk to her other coworkers after I asked I had an appointment and it's already 30 minutes pass, and talk to ranch other that She is the next but again some other person went inside. I can't afford a better insurance so I am stock here, if I could I would. The front desk workers are sad, angry look. First impression is perfectly shows the office rates and functionality. I have been a employee here and have been a patient after leaving cchc. Let me start by saying they don't know how to run on a timely manner. Their gynecologist Kevin is ALWAYS late, my appointment was 10:15, yet I'm wondering why I'm in the lobby at 11:15 still. If you can't provide the time you give to your patients, then you should simply change the doctors or your procedures. This is fucking ridiculous I lost 3 hours of work because your doctors are always taking their sweet time. After approaching the staff to see when I'm up next after an hour of waiting in the lobby when my appointment is at 10:15am.. she states there's another patient before you. You guys are a joke. So glad I left. I advise everyone to not waste their time here at all. read more
