I regret not trusting the reviews I read before choosing this OB. From the start, appointments feel extremely rushed and impersonal. During our ultrasound, he literally said, "I'll show you real quick," which felt dismissive and took away from what should be a meaningful moment for expecting parents. There was no effort to explain what we were seeing, no reassurance, and we weren't offered any ultrasound printouts of our baby at all. The entire visit felt transactional, like he was trying to get us in and out as fast as possible. He also asked me in front of my partner if I had an std in the past. Granted me and my partner share everything with eachother, the doctor doesn't know our dynamic . Typically, doctors ask these questions in private, either on forms or one on one time, to respect patient privacy and reduce embarrassment or discomfort. Pregnancy is an emotional and important time, and bedside manner matters. Unfortunately, this provider comes across as rushed, dismissive, and lacking compassion. I would not recommend him to anyone looking for attentive, patient-centered prenatal care. Safe to say, we are searching for a new doctor. Also, the front desk girl is very rude. Highly recommended doctor - here's why: Dr. Jesse Wood is truly different from most others. He doesn't overbook appointments, so you won't find yourself waiting one to two hours like at many other clinics even when you arrive on time. Here, appointments are honored, and your time is genuinely respected.  He was incredibly thorough, even drawing a diagram to help me understand. After seeing four other OB-GYNs, he was the first to clearly explain my condition and help me easier to weigh the pros and cons. He is extremely patient, listens carefully and takes the time to answer every single question without rushing. Honestly, he's a rare find. I was also surprised and impressed that the clinic accepts credit cards and provides receipts in digital format. It's a very modern and up-to-date practice. They even have a well-designed website where I can view my appointment details and ask simple medical questions online. I would give this 0 stars if possible. My husband and I were so excited to finally become pregnant after trying for nearly 2 years and this was our first pregnancy so we couldn't wait for the OB appointments. The first visit was extremely rushed, however, we were informed that Dr.Woo had two deliveries so it had set his schedule back which was understandable. At this time I was 8 weeks pregnant so there wasn't too much to see at our first appointment- also understandable, so the visit lasted approximately 7 mins in total. He quickly showed us the heartbeat flash on the ultrasound. Asked if we had any questions and we were on our way. Second visit was for my 12 week appointment, which my husband and I were so excited to possibly hear the heartbeat and see/learn more about our baby. This appointment lasted from start to finish a total of 8 minutes, and that's only because my husband and I were asking some questions. The ultrasound itself was less than 1 minute in length. Dr. Woo QUICKLY verbally told my husband where the baby's landmarks were but I can tell my husband was still trying to orient himself to what he was seeing while also soaking in what a precious and long waited moment this was only to have the monitor turned to me and Dr. Woo say, "I will show you quickly too." This struck me the wrong way because these appointments mean so much and we wait for them to see our girl and to only have such a short period of time... seconds... to see and then be told to meet back in his office is just shocking, which is what my husband and I felt. We both looked at each other like... "oh.. that's it?.." During the ultrasound we didn't hear the heartbeat, we were only shown the flash again briefly. We go into his office and I asked him when I would get to have an ultrasound photo. His response was, "We don't do that here but you can go to the mall for something like that." I was absolutely appalled by his response. The mall?! And to clarify, I was not talking about those 3D prints, I meant the basic ultrasound photo strip that EVERYONE gets and uses them for announcements and such. I then asked if the baby's heart rate was good, to which he replied, "I am only checking if there is or isn't a heart beat." Okay, so we have no documentation of the baby's heart rate? Interesting. I also asked about her size if she was measuring appropriately. His response, "Oh babies are all the same size at this point." I was outraged with these answers. I felt COMPLETELY dismissed as well as questioning what kind of data did we have on my baby to see if everything was in fact okay and what kind of care was I receiving. Since this is my first experience will all of this I kept thinking maybe I am being dramatic or expecting too much from these appointments, but NO, I called my people in my life after the appointment who have all had babies and they were in disbelief at the information and care my husband and I had for these past two appointments. I did not want to go on throughout my pregnancy with each appointment being so rushed, cold and lack of thorough checking. I switched facilities and providers where I have now had a 15 week appointment with completely opposite care of what I experienced at Dr. Woo's office. I got to hear the heartbeat and know the heart rate, know the size of the baby and got an ultrasound printed photo. I know I personally read each negative review with suspicion due to people maybe over exaggerating an experience but I wish I had not ignored the poor reviews about Dr.Woo that I originally read and wasted my time with this place. Seek care elsewhere unless you don't mind being rushed, not heard or listened to, not validated, and dismissed with any question you ask. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Dr. Jesse Woo is the best out there! The office is very nice and clean. Employees are very nice and welcoming! Every visit with Dr. Woo was very fast which I really appreciated! He didn't beat around the bush when I asked questions he kept it short and honest. As a first time mom I have to say I really appreciate the honesty due to the fact that I knew nothing about babies or the type of stuff that goes down when it's time to have your baby. Dr. Woo also delivered my baby girl and did a great job! Definitely will be coming back when I'm ready to have another one! Lol and HIGHLY RECOMMEND to others! Dr. Woo is the best! My OBNP transferred me to him when I was around 33w. The place was super clean, followed Covid regulations and I never had to wait to be seen! Very punctual. Dr. Woo takes the time and answers all the questions you have and he is super calm. He helped me deliver my first baby, she was 9.2lbs and I only had a 2nd degree tearing! His staff is also friendly and super helpful! Highly recommend him! read more

If you are plus size or have a high BMI he will make you feel like crap. This is my first pregnancy and I felt excited but as soon as I went to Dr Woos he made me feel down about myself ! The lady's are sweet there but Dr. Woo literally told me NO OTHER DR OR HOSPITAL in the area any where near by would take me because my BMI. So I called the hospital to see where they could take me and they said " Thats a lie and he's a Wussy because they cant turn down anyone of any size, and they couldn't believe he said that." He was discriminating against me for my weight. I understand being overweight is not good. But for a delivery doctor to discriminate against weight is upsetting. Maybe he should go back to school and learn more about womens bodies and different BMI's. read more

If you are looking for a caring, friendly, and knowledgeable OBGYN, you are in the right place!!!!! I went to see Dr. Woo when I was 34 weeks. I walked away from my PREVIOUS Ob because he told me that he would rather give me a repeated C-section than taking risk to help me with a natural delivery. After went through my medical records, Dr. Woo accepted me and well explained all the possibilities that might happened during the delivery. The most thrilled things was that he would let me try natural delivery first. During the visits, Dr. Woo was patient, and he answered all the questions that I had. The staff is friendly and helpful, too. The appointments are easy made. The whole experiences were excellent and satisfied. Not to mention, Dr. Woo takes time for his patients, and he never rushes his patients. In 39 weeks, I had an induction and everything went well. My baby daughter was delivered naturally which was amazing. I really appreciated it!!! read more

Dr woo helped me deliver my baby with a high risk pregnancy. He always answered all my questions and even has a portal to message him whenever needed. He was always reassuring and made sure I was always on the right track to have a healthy baby. As a person with a high BMI and having developed high blood pressure, he never made me feel any different and made sure my questions were always answered. I would give 5 Stars, but the reason I'm not is because the lady who works at the front desk is sooooo Rude. She always has an attitude like we're bothering her when we go to make an appointment or have questions regarding my inquiries. She's super annoying and it's sad because the doctor is so amazing. I was assigned to Dr. Woo for a few months in my first trimester. The facility is clean, organized, quiet, modern or decent. The staff is very professional and friendly. Appointments were easily made and everything throughout was done in timely manner. I really liked that he was a doctor who was patient and explained things and seemed to understand and want to help. I chose him in the beginning because he was approved by my insurance, his facility was clean and his staff was professional. Why we went another route was because he didn't seem confident. During an appointment he seemed very nervous and even stuttered a bit and when a doctor isn't confident it doesn't make you feel confident and it becomes scary. I was carrying twins and since it's considered high risk. It was probably best to go to a doctor who i felt is more confident in caring for a case like mine. :/ read more
