Doctor Williams was recommended to me and is supposed to be great at what he does. However, the front office staff specifically Jackie is so rude and hard to work with and hard to talk to and hard to get a hold of and never call you back when she says she's going to so it's a joke. Once you have an appointment you end up sitting in the waiting room for up to two hours sometimes in the actual room for an hour one time I was already there and they called me as I was walking in to tell me that they're two hours behind if I could come back in two hours, meanwhile I had taken the day off work to be there for my appointment and if I knew it wasn't gonna be till later Because originally they said they didn't have any later appointments I wouldn't have needed to take the day off I've tried to schedule a surgical procedure multiple months in a row. Now every time there's an issue of Jackie, not calling you back or the doctor not being available. And if you want to get into payment situations there, it's absolutely ridiculous. They can't bill you correctly. They can't make sure that your payment goes onto your bill. Everything about this place is a joke. I don't understand why anyone continues to go here. Then they moved buildings and no one ever told me I found out about that on a Facebook post that I saw on a local Facebook group . I thought I was the only one with issues at this place until I saw that Facebook post multiple people are having issues with billing and appointments. Then I came to read, yelp reviews and good Lord I'm not the only one that deals with this shit the way they run their business is absolutely ridiculous. They have no regard for their patient's time. And they can't even bill you correctly without it being a headache and take days and days and days of calling and talking to people at the one 800 number on your bill. Then they tell you to call the doctors office. The doctors office tells you to call the one 800 number on the bill and you're just going in circles trying to get your bill paid. Jackie is the absolute worst. She's rude. She never calls you back. She said she would call me to schedule something. I had to call multiple times and she never was in the office never called me back. I never get called back after I have testing done to schedule an appointment to talk over my results. I get prescribed medicine with very little instructions and no monitoring. I need a prescription for something and I called and they said that they won't do anything about it unless I see the doctor even though he's the one who said if I need it call and they will send it in instead I had to go to the emergency room for something that they could've handled over the phone. Needless to say after giving them years and years of benefit of the doubt because they're supposed to be the best at what they do for fertility stuff in the area I'm moving on and cannot go back and They also charged me for my yearly well women visit even though I didn't bring up anything extra. I just let them do the exam and my visit should be free through my insurance, but they charged me a co-pay and charged my insurance as it was a regular visit. I'm so sick of dealing with the issues that I have but then also have to deal with a shitty ass doctors office on top of it read more

My experience with Dr. Williams has been increasingly frustrating and disheartening. Out of eight appointments, only one began anywhere close to on time. The rest involved waiting well over an hour just to be seen. The most recent incident was beyond unprofessional. My appointment had been canceled without any notification. I only discovered this after arriving at the new office location, where other providers informed me that Dr. Williams had not even moved in yet. Apparently, no one thought to notify me (or another pregnant patient who showed up at the same time) that our appointments needed to be rescheduled. As for the care itself, it has been inconsistent and unreliable. Dr. Williams consistently appears rushed and lacks basic bedside manner. More troubling, he has interpreted the same diagnostic imaging three different ways across separate visits, each time expressing complete confidence while directly contradicting his prior assessments. This level of inconsistency has completely eroded my trust in his judgment. I cannot recommend Dr. Williams based on my experience. In fact, I would encourage you to look elsewhere. read more

Dr Williams and staff got me through my first pregnancy and I cannot thank them enough. Reading other reviews I think a lot of people forget that we wait because he's on call to deliver babies. Dr. Williams and Dr. Tina were great. I had a wonderful experience at every visit. Dr. Tina is so welcoming and nice. Dr. Williams did a great job on my surrogates cesarean section. The baby is perfect and my surrogate is healing well. The front desk isn't perfect and the doctor was sometimes late thats why i didn't give 5 stars but overall i am pleased and recommend them for your birthing experience. Parking at the office was easy, plenty of spots. The staff that assists the doctors is wonderful as well. I will miss seeing them every month. read more

Excellent doctor. Will recommend the doctor but cannot recommend the office practice in general. My appointment was 1pm. I was in the lobby for about 1 hour 45 minutes. Then I waited in exam room for another hour before being seen. No updates from staff. For copay, it was only $10 for well woman exam. However, you cannot ask the doctor anything or bring up any issues. If you want to, you can pay $75 as self pay even if you have insurance. Receptionist said it is because they cannot bill for 2 visits in one day. They give you the option to schedule a 2nd visit to avoid the payment. However, earliest is 2 months out. So I just paid. I suggest that they should explain this prior to the appointment and also to give patients the option to cancel appointments if their wait time is longer than an hour. I highly recommend Dr Richard Williams. He is the most honest, caring and experienced doctor. I am so thankful and fortunate that I had a consultation with him and got all the best possible options for my condition although the procedure that I decided to do was not done by OBGYN. I was so stressful and exhausted after seeing two other OBGYNs and a primary care because they just focused on what they could do well, not what could help me the most. I've had nothing but amazing experiences with Dr Williams & Tina. I have delivered two of my kids with them and the third on the way. They have made sure to answer any questions I've had throughout all pregnancies. Sometimes they are busy (phones and appointments) but that comes with any office especially if they are so well liked by many. With my second daughter she had meconium & umbilical cord wrapped around her twice along with a nice full knot in it. Dr Williams stayed calm and acted fast which helped me stay calm. He got her out quick and without any incident. I would recommend this team to all. read more

The medical field has changed a lot over the last decade and in many ways it has not been to the benefit of the patient. Dr Williams is the exception to the rule! His bedside manner is amazing. We started seeing him three years ago because we were having trouble getting pregnant. Throughout the last three years he has been with us every step of the way. This includes late night phone calls, weekend appointments, and text messages galore. Dr Williams personally saw us for every appointment. He would call us or text us after appointments to give us updates. This is the kind of patient care that I have rarely seen in my life. Two days ago my wife gave birth to our first born, and mommy and daughter are happy and healthy. I will be the first to say that due to the nature of his job (delivering Babies) there are times his office gets backed up. They always suggest you call ahead of time to ask how the day is going. I would also say that if having to wait a little while for an appointment is your biggest concern, you should check your priorities. If you want a doctor that gets to know you and understand your problems, and if you want someone that is going to give you the finest medical attention around then Dr Williams is your guy! read more

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Williams for fertility care, so I'm baffled at the high ratings. From start to finish, there was really poor communication overall. He never followed up with us EVER, we always had to call multiple times just to get in contact and to get simple information, and his office doesn't do email and is extremely busy, so that makes it even harder to stay in contact and get records to them. We sent labs to him for the consult but he NEVER read them, and never reviewed any of our medical records, which is pretty important when creating a fertility plan to check for abnormalities. He did his work on the fly and never created a plan even though we paid for it through the consultation (he promised he would, but we NEVER got a plan after the consultation). We did the planning ourselves and then had to call many times to figure out how to start the invocell/Ivf process). Williams was "nice" but mostly just told stories and talked at us during the consult. He repeatedly asked the same questions because he 1. didn't read our medical records, and 2. doesn't listen, and truly seemed too busy to care. Good luck figuring out how to give yourself shots and fertility meds! They won't help or give you any directions--you're on your own. When our embryos didn't develop adequately, the office didn't even bother to call us before the transfer to give us a heads up--we got to find out at the transfer (surprise! They didn't develop enough!). Also got an infection after retrieval and they told me to call if that happened and I called and let the nurse know, but they never called me back. Not once. When I went back for the transfer, Dr. Williams didn't even know I'd gotten an infection and seemed surprised. He also asked questions that were in our labwork results during the transfer, yet again, indicating that he does not EVER take the time to review records. After the IVF failed and we sent the blood test results, we never heard from the office AT ALL for follow-up. Not a single phone call. Dr. Williams tells stories a lot, but doesn't actually listen (does he assume we're unintelligent and just want to hear reassuring or unrelated anecdotes?). We thought given his ratings and prices, it would be worth it anyway, but it really wasn't, because we got really subpar care with him. Had he paid more attention and been more reliable, we could've created a sound and informed fertility plan with a higher success rate. Instead, we got "nice" but rushed, won't take the time to review labs/records, create a plan, or truly listen. I'll take attentive, competent, and thorough over "nice" any day. Dr. Williams' and Tina Moon's medical care is excellent. He prescribed me something back in 2012 that really helped one of my conditions. Both of them are excellent listeners, too. His administrative staff, however, leaves bit to be desired. I was in absolute agony last fall over a difficult-to-treat problem. One of their front office staff responded to pain with a look of sour hostility; my agonized countenance moved her to annoyance rather than compassion. I'm still a little hurt about that. I was referred there from my doctor as an OB/GYN appointment to get a second opinion I go in and pay $35 copayment. The lady doctor tells me there's absolutely nothing wrong with me & I don't know why I was sent there and she was pretty rude. I drove all the way from Rancho Cucamonga got off work early to be treated like that then yesterday I get a $25 copayment in the mail saying that I need to pay this I'm not paying this to be treated rude I already paid my $35 copayment I'm not paying another 25! My first baby was delivered via C-section, second baby delivered via VBAC. With my third baby I wanted to try for another VBAC, Dr.Williams and Tina tired everything to help me. My last few appointments with Dr. Williams I was extremely nervous he would always reassure me everything would be okay. He would help me deliver my baby via 2VBAC as along as it was safe for my baby and myself. I put my trust in him and we did it! We delivered a safe and healthy baby via 2VBAC. read more

Absolutely love this doctor! After suffering a miscarriage and having a horrible experience with my last obgyn. I was recommend to Dr. Williams, who ended up performing my D&C. His staff worked hard to get me scheduled right away. A year later, I finally got pregnant again. I was extremely scared of suffering another miscarriage and whenever I would get pain and get scared the staff would always see me on an emergency basis. Dr. Williams ended up performing my c-section and I remember the next day he came to see me at the hospital, around 11:30pm. This man really loves his profession and cares about his patients. I've also had a bad experience. This place is horrible at booking appointments and keeping their appointments. I've been rescheduled three times and I finally walk in for my appointment and I am given the runaround about my insurance. I have two insurances, which I'm fully covered. However, the receptionist is telling me that she has to reschedule me because my insurance are not merged together. I've had these insurances for the past eight years, and I have never ever had an issue and of course I have one here. She honestly didn't seem to know what she was doing. I continue to see him for my annual exams, etc. Tina is also wonderful. I generally prefer to see a doctor rather than a PA at most offices, but Tina is knowledgeable and incredibly personable so at this office I am fine with either her or doctor Williams. My disgust lies in his current staff of ladies who run the front office and how HORRENDOUSLY RUDE they are. (Sarin and another woman who refused to give her name) I get that it is an OBGYN office and that calling in will result in busy phone lines, but to place patients on hold for more than 7 min without touching base to those holding is terrible service! And when you try and call back to tell them you've been waiting, you are given a very poor attitude and unprofessional response and NO APOLOGY! I was cut off, talked over and my concern brushed off. my wife almost died because of the negligence of Dr Richard Williams, he suggested hysterectomy because of a fibroid in my wife uterus. he punctured her intestine during surgery she went into sepsis and induced comma for 4 weeks in the intensive care. she almost passed away on several occasions she had 10 different specialty doctors working on saving her ,it was a nightmare being on your back in the intensive care room with your hands tied to the sides of the bed pumping you with super strong medications that and tubes running through your nose and mouth and you had every organ in your body failing one after the other including kidneys, liver ..3 surgeries done on the abdominal area with in a few days while in the intensive care and in between surgeries your abdominal was kept opened because of inflammation. it was a nightmare with all that poisonous stuff pouring into your abdomen,, then after the 4 weeks they put her in a room for another 5 weeks on the back so they can watch her.. I was working with the nurses to clean her up and it was just hard. the cold hearted doctor came only once at the beginning to look at her and never turned back.. more than 4 1/2 years in the court system...no attorney wanted to handle the case because they say it is a difficult case. my attorney was week and couldn't handle the case effectively so they kept on delaying it on numerous occasions. i decided to remove my attorney because it seems she wasn't capable in dealing with the other firms effectively.. the attorneys and judges seems they are working for the powerful party benefit ( the doctor). now I have a court date on the 28th of September but I have to go out of country for medical reasons. unbelievable. and he is fighting me and my wife in court, since we are the victims. can you believe that? he changed our lives, got us depressed, hurt our family and altered us for ever. 95% of the people who gets sepsis die so the surgeon after the first surgery to fix the leak in my wife abdomen said we did what we could, go pray because that might be the only way to save her. this Williams doctor is a cold hearted, stay away from him ,he could care less if you live or die as long as he makes his money.. ladies stay away from him for your own life...my wife file more than 16,000 pages. read more

I was referred to Dr. Williams by my doctor for an exam and consultation, prior to my scheduled surgery-which was scheduled in the upcoming two weeks. My doctor spoke highly of Dr. Williams, so naturally I expected good service from Dr. Williams as well as his staff..I was sincerely looking forward to starting a new patient relationship and meeting with him. Unfortunately, that was not the case here...! I first made a phone call and had to leave a message requesting assistance to book an appointment. A few days went by with no return call from his office. ( I believe my Dr. had also emailed them that I would be contacting them and my exam results/documents were sent over)..So I called again & spoke to a Jocelyn, who Stated that she would email Dr. Williams, follow up on my results and get back to me with an appointment. After not hearing back from Jocelyn, I had to call back again for a 3rd time the next day...( my clock was ticking to possibly have to cancel my surgery that was already scheduled..due to needing to wait on Dr. Williams for a simple scheduling of an appointment) On this 3rd phone call I inquired on scheduling an appointment... Jocelyn informs me that she has not received medical documents from my Dr's office.and was not scheduling me until they had my paperwork. (My doctors office had a fax confirmation that my paperwork was sent over to them on May 23. We are now on June 1!!) Long story short...Jocelyn showed no concern, no eagerness to assist, did not offer to accommodate me by allowing me to email them my documents, insisting that she could not schedule me without having documents... I offered to bring them in myself if she could schedule me, I offered to come in as a new patient and start from scratch with the doctor... I expressed my urgency due to my surgery scheduled at city of Hope... I would need to be rescheduling at this point, but needed to know their availability... She refused all of it. When I asked for a manager, she put me on hold for a substantial amount of Time only to come back to the phone to tell me she had no manager available and could leave my number and a message for her (Coleen)... Naturally, I'm frustrated at this point, and ask to speak to someone else... Another hold....... finally, I get on the phone with a Vanessa seemed a bit nicer and had more energy to help me. I explained my situation.. I'm trying to book an appointment etc. in the end she was back-and-forth claiming they still have not received paperwork although it was sent over that morning yet again and had been previously been emailed..Vanessa now going further into the not sure on my insurance without even knowing who I'm covered with! I expressed my concern for their lack, and willing to schedule an appointment, and for what seemed so many excuses etc..it seemed that they really did not want to schedule an appointment. I also offered to Vanessa to bring in my paperwork or if I could email it on a PDF because I did not have a fax... I explained there was a lot of back-and-forth between the offices, and that I felt I was being ignored and could she make an exception or give me her availability for an appointment at the very least...she did not extend me the courtesy. In Addition to the nonchalant attitude and non-caring attitude, they really don't care to go out of their way to assist.. not even for new patients and it doesn't matter that your doctor is referring you over and has an extensive relationship with their boss Dr. Williams. I felt bad not being able to meet this Dr. Williams but if he has people working for him like this, maybe it was a blessing in disguise. Luckily, I was referred to someone else and right away They called with great energy and scheduled me three days after with no problem. FYI.. Vanessa stated she would be calling back to my doctors office and would get back to me. I hung up the phone... she never bothered to follow back as she stated..not even to apologize. After being a patient of Dr. Williams and Tina for over 15 years I am done. Their new billing system/office staff are the worst I have ever experienced. They are "billing" the insurance company for issues that are just "brought up" even when I am being an advocate for my own health just because it's discussed. I am being charged for my well woman exam $55 because I knew I had something wrong and wanted a biopsy which turned out to be pre-cancerous. Don't mentioned ANY concern during your well woman..... you will be charged extra. I am floored that they are gouging patients this way. This is not the office that helped me get pregnant. The front girls are rude every time I've been in this year. I will be going elsewhere. So incredibly disappointed. read more

Dr. Richard Williams killed me at age 34 on July 25, 2007 by implanting the AMS MONARC TRANSVAGINAL MESH for bladder leakage. Dr. Williams killed the version of who I was before the implant procedure (he also did a rectocele repair). I was supposed to be out of the hospital the same day as my procedures were scheduled as outpatient however I was in the hospital for several days. I experienced excruciating sharp pain in the left side of abdomen from the moment I woke up. I knew immediately that something was wrong and almost 15 years later the same pain continues but now it's DEBILITATING EXCRUCIATING widespread chronic pain, chronic migraines, chronic fatigue, depression, anxiety, PTSD, absolutely zero bladder control (forced to wear diapers 24/7) and have fecal incontinence, severe joint degeneration, cognitive decline, memory problems, etc. Dr. Williams was not accepting responsibility for the pain caused by the mesh procedure. I told him that I'm not litigious all I want is to be free from pain. Dr. Williams first stated that it could simply be a pulled muscle due to the position of my body during surgery then he attempted to tell me I must of had a history of back problems which was completely false. The excruciating pain continued and began radiating to the left side of my body with difficulty walking. Dr. Williams referred me to specialists for tests and the results didn't match the level of pain I was experiencing. I felt completely gaslighted. As I continued to voice my concerns Dr. Williams offered to pay my out of pocket expenses and he he asked me to provide him an itemized statement. 18 months later and Dr. Williams never paid anything and refused to speak with me or see me. I was utterly shocked to learn that the statute of limitations to sue for medical malpractice is 18 months. This ended all communications with Dr. Williams. The AMS MONARC TRANSVAGINAL MESH first attempt to be removed was at UCLA in 2011. The mesh was infected, it deteriorated and protruded through my bladder, urethra, vagina and pubic bone. It took multiple reconstruction surgeries and "corrective" surgeries to remove the mesh. Some insight about me prior to surgery-I was uber fit, active and healthy and fiercely independent. I had a career I was passionate about and raising my daughter on my own (without child support, family or any support) and I truly loved being a hands-on mom. Not only did Dr. Williams procedure rob me of my career and motherhood it robbed my young child of her mother and childhood. Our lives were taken from us after I was told that the mesh implant was to provide me a better quality of life. I had to stop working, filed bankruptcy, moved to small apartment, traded vehicle for less expensive one and learn to just live with the new version of me and my new life. It was the most difficult experience of my life as a 34 year old latina mom. How was my young child supposed to manage when she was forced to mother me overnight. Honestly. Dr. Williams Is the best OB. Very thorough, takes his time with each patient, listens to your needs and helps you have a great experience throughout your pregnancy and post. There is a wait but I would prefer a great Dr. and a wait any day. I had gestational diabetes and a rough pregnancy but my baby was born healthy. I had my 3rd boy via c section and the staff at San Dimas hospital were all so amazing. The nurses spent so much time with me. Definitely recommend Dr. Williams advice delivering there! You will have to wait if you are seeking an appointment with Dr. Williams because he takes the time and effort to understand each patient's needs and truly is a wonderful Doctor. My second pregnancy was overseen by him and Tina the PA. They knew exactly what to do when an otherwise normal pregnancy turned high risk towards the end. Dr. Williams was able to identity a rare high risk diagnosis and potentially saved my baby's life with the calls that were made. I was closely monitored, my phone calls were always answered, I felt safe and taken care of. (Night and Day from my 1st pregnancy which was not overseen here.) The entire team here went above and beyond to make my baby's delivery safe and to provide me with the facts of my high risk pregnancy in the most caring way. We have since moved and I make the drive back here just to continue being a patient. You will spend time waiting in the wait room. This is because of the quality time Dr. Williams spends with each of his patients. Bring snacks and sweater for the office :) The wait times are less for Tina the PA since she does not have to leave the office as often to deliver. read more

He is not my doctor but he was assigned to delivery on the day I had my daughter. As I was being prepared for a cesarian delivery I could hear him yelling and berating the nurses. I told the nurse that he was scaring me and asked if there was another doctor. They could not get the needle into my back and he came over and grabbed me by the back of the neck and shoved me downward. I kept asking if they would get my husban. By the time they allowed my husband to come in I was drowsy. My daughter was delivered and I could feel the doctor touching my hip and stomach. I thought he was cleaning me up but later learned that he had drawn all over me with surgical marker. So for the next three weeks I had a reminder of how he disrespected me. read more

Dr. Williams is an amazing, caring and awesome doctor. He takes his time and explains everything to his patients. He makes sure his patients understand and are educated on their treatment. I needed surgery and his staff made sure it was scheduled in a timely manner. Dr. Williams did a great job on my surgery and my after care plan. His staff is awesome also. Tried to make an appointment as a new patient and was refused to be seen because of no prior OB care. Obviously you truly don't care about the well-being of patients and their growing child considering prenatal care is vital in a healthy pregnancy. Worst practitioner EVER. I have been going to this office for about a year and half now. I needed a new OBGYN because I moved out here and the one I used to have was too far to go to. Dr. Richard Williams is very patient and has great bedside manners. He answers all your questions very thoroughly and explains them in an easy to understand way. He is open-minded and easy to talk to about uncomfortable topics like fertility issues, hormones, HRT, menopause, etc. I have seen Tina Moon as well for my pap smears. I would recommend Dr. Williams for sure. I like that he wasn't trigger happy with the HRT and is recommending natural options for me in regards to what is best for my body's specifically needs. I appreciate that. I see him for HRT treatment, hormonal imbalance, POF and fertility issues. I use my insurance for what is covered and pay out of pocket for the fertility consult. Yes the wait can be long at times, but I am flexible because I live 15 minutes away on side street and also it helps that they let me call ahead and ask if he is running on time or not so they cut the waiting time for me by calling me when it is closer to when he will actually be seeing me in person. So I do not mind it so much because I can be flexible and he is good so I will continue to do this as long as I see results with him. I never have problems with my insurance covering the visits or meds he prescribes. I do have ANTHEM PPO though. He really seems to enjoy what he does and is excited about doing it. I have not had any issues with the girls in the front office. I try to comply and get them the docs they need from me when they ask. I appreciate them calling me and letting me wait at home when he is running behind. I know that if I was having a baby and he was my doctor, I'd appreciate him being there when I need him. There are doctors who do not deliver babies and are gynecologist only so maybe if you need a doctor who is always on time then look for one of those instead? read more

Dr. Williams is the rock start OBGYN of San Dimas. I love this man, he is wonderful and always taken exceptional care of me & my other family that see him. That said, and being the rockstar that he is, the man is busy. Like, soooo busy. So if you go to see him please bring stuff to amuse yourself because you WILL wait. Sometimes for hours. There, you've been warned. But he is worth it. If not super preggo or having serious womanly stuff that you must see him for, I highly and wholeheartedly recommended seeing Tina. She is a PA there and you'll never met a better woman. She's cared for me during both my pregnancies (I'd book with her because I didn't want to wait hours) and she gives the same solid gold care Dr. W does. Shout out to my nurses there who I love and Jackie who holds it down. Love you all. read more
