During the visit, Dr. Cropper asked only a few brief questions and performed a quick ultrasound simply to confirm the pregnancy. The ultrasound photo we were given was blurry and off-center, but what disappointed us most was the interaction. When my partner brought up concerns based on our prior pregnancies, they were dismissed with brief, cold responses. Throughout the appointment, I also felt that Dr. Cropper barely acknowledged my partner or made us feel comfortable discussing our concerns. When the office later called to schedule a follow-up appointment, I explained that I was still upset about the care I had received and shared my concerns about how the appointment had gone. The front desk staff told me they would call me back to schedule the follow-up. Instead, I received a letter informing me that Dr. Cropper would no longer be seeing me due to "patient-doctor differences." As a newly pregnant woman, this was incredibly disappointing and upsetting. Rather than addressing my concerns or attempting to improve communication, I was dismissed from the practice. I found the way the situation was handled to be unprofessional and disrespectful. Every patient deserves to feel heard, especially during such an important and vulnerable time. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Dr. Cropper.

I received a call the following day stating the doctor has decided to not take me because she doesn't want "Prior OB patients". So if I hadn't been seen by a prior OB they would take me. When I asked the office staff member Sophia why she couldn't tell me that the day prior before having me drive to them to deliver records . She said the doctor just told her right now this "new" policy. Sophia said no exceptions and was very dismissive. I don't understand how medical "professionals" can be so incompetent. Granted me and my partner share everything with eachother, the doctor doesn't know our dynamic . Typically, doctors ask these questions in private, either on forms or one on one time, to respect patient privacy and reduce embarrassment or discomfort. Pregnancy is an emotional and important time, and bedside manner matters. Unfortunately, this provider comes across as rushed, dismissive, and lacking compassion. I would not recommend him to anyone looking for attentive, patient-centered prenatal care. Safe to say, we are searching for a new doctor. Also, the front desk girl is very rude. I adored Dr. Oliver and felt that she was an amazing doctor (performed my c/s) and did an amazing job. I'm currently pregnant and haven't delivered yet with Dr. Pham but so far I'm very happy with the care. She's very attentive and carefully listens to me and my concerns. I do notice that this office is not as "hands on" and more "old school" (they don't do ultrasounds unless you ask compared to other friends of mine in different offices who experience the opposite) but she so far has been wonderful! She ran into the exam room and quickly, as she was trying to walk out of the door, gave single word answers to the questions my wife was asking. She was dismissive and wanted the appointment over as soon as humanly possible. I've also been trying to get her office to complete some insurance paperwork since March, and they continue to not fill out the paperwork that I've requested - as such, my insurance hasn't paid and a lab company wants nearly $4,000 for a test that should be covered under my plan. As we were leaving, we found out she is retiring TOMORROW and couldn't be bothered to end her patient relationships she spent so much time building with dignity and professionalism. This is my third appointment. At my first visit, I waited nearly three hours before being seen. At my second appointment, I waited for over an hour only to be told the appointment had been canceled because the doctor had an emergency. For this third appointment, I was specifically instructed to call ahead to make sure the office wasn't "running behind". I did, and my appointment was pushed back 15 minutes. However, I've now been sitting in the waiting room for over an hour with no indication of when I'll actually be seen. Communication has also been frustrating. I called several days ago because I was experiencing a complication from my medication and was told a nurse would return my call. After three days without hearing from anyone, I had to call the office again myself. I completely understand that emergencies happen and that delays are sometimes unavoidable. However, when long waits and communication issues become the norm, it makes receiving care incredibly difficult. A great doctor can only do so much if patients can't be seen in a timely manner or can't get the support they need between appointments. Unfortunately, the overall experience has made it hard to justify continuing my care here.
