I would not recommend. I've had issues from billing to doctor's ghosting me to incorrect supplies. Everyone is nice I've spoken to and i really appreciate that. But that's unfortunately where the positives end. I've had to call multiple times about getting a sleep med only to find out the doctor is no longer there. I have gotten multiple invoices from them "misplaced" and then getting a bill over a YEAR later. I've gotten the wrong supplies on multiple occasions(or no supplies). They were who my PCP sent me to. I ended up completely cutting off my account with them. I would suggest finding another place that takes your insurance. I wrote this review after trying to get them to send me single invoice with all the required info for my FSA to process. The 2nd ask still doesn't have all the info my FSA wants even when giving them a bulleted list of what was needed. I'm cutting my losses and will find someone more organized. read more

Do NOT waste your time with this organization as the word "care" is only suggestive. Their medical professionals are not aligned on care. I have never been scheduled with the same doctor twice and each has told me I have a different form of sleep apnea and each offers a different form of treatment. How am I to advocate for my own health if no one can agree on a prognosis? When trying to talk to someone in customer service regarding these services, I am either routed to their 3rd party billing department or told that some will be in contact with me within 48 hours. Two weeks have gone by with no response other messages reminding me I have an outstanding balance or calls asking me to increase my installment payments. This organization is a scam and clearly only cares about getting paid. They will do anything to avoid talking to customers and resolve outstanding issues. read more

Very difficult to deal with. They do not provide sufficient information about their services. They do not tell you the cost of device recommended - just said Medicare with cover 80% of the cost. What cost? I have called four times for additonal information so I can research their products. Receptionist does not seem to know what she is doing. They have not given information on the provider for the equipment, brand name of equipment, location of where the equipment is obtained. read more

The staff and doctors at the location are great. The medical practice management is horrendous. Out of the dozen other medical providers that I use in NOVA, this practice is the only one that cannot get their billing correct - for years of being a patient with the same equipment. Additionally, their customer service is poor. I attempted to call the corporate listed number on the website multiple times to speak with an office manager or supervisor to discuss my issues. Each time, management/supervisor refused to talk to me on the telephone. Sleep apnea and CPAPs are common. Find another provider. This one is more of a PITA than they are worth. read more

I had a sleep study recently at ComprehensiveSleep Care Center that was very unpleasant. In part, because of my inability to drop off to sleep while connected to the sleep equipment. However, my complaint with the CSCC-Bethesda facility goes beyond that physical discomfort. I have rarely experienced a room less welcoming and less conducive to sleep! The room was in poor condition; the walls were scuffed and paint was peeling. The headboard was damaged and the bedside lamp was broken. I was shocked to see that the bed pillows were badly stained a sickly dark yellow, as well as being lumpy and flat at the same time. Clean pillowcases were just pulled over these gross pillows. It gives the overall impression of being unclean and unhygienic. There was no ambient lighting except a bright-white overhead fluorescent fixture. The technician said the table lamp had been out for some time. He didn't seem that bothered about it, nor did he offer to find a replacement in another room or office. After lights-out, the sharp green indicator lights from the bedside equipment also made it difficult to relax. Further, there was no air conditioning coming into the room. It was very stuffy with the door closed. I saw later that there was a fan in the room, but the technician didn't point it out or ask if I wanted it on. Obviously, this isn't a hotel. Still, I would have welcomed a more engaged staff. These are largely superficial problems that can be easily fixed. I expect a medical facility, especially one promoting healthy sleep, to have spotless rooms and bedding and make an effort to make patients feel and comfortable and safe from germs. Had I known these conditions in advance, I would have brought at least one pillow from home, as well as tissues, a bottle of water, earplugs, and a sleep mask. Billing is turning into a whole other mess. I wish I could give them zero stars. read more

I've always been a little bit of an insomniac so I wanted to check out this place to get a sleep assessment. I liked that this place had a nice open parking lot so after being there at various times, there was no shortage of spaces. (I'm big on this) My experience with the workers and the doctors has been amazing. They're very kind, great bedside manner, and they take the time to discuss your care without feeling rushed. I think the only real snag with them that I had was the lack of sleep study appointment availability and communication. My sleep study was scheduled months from my initial appointment and when we had inclement weather, I was rescheduled for another appointment months later. I was told that I'll receive a call to be bumped up to a better appointment time considering the circumstances. After two weeks, I realized that call wasn't going to happen. I called to get them to reschedule for a better appointment time as bad weather is nothing that anyone can help. They were able to fit me in but I disliked the communication in trying to get this completed. Especially since they put in a request for another pre-authorization from insurance since the approved time span was going to expire with the new appointment that they scheduled months later. There was some miscommunication as well with the sleep study time as well since I was told we would have to be up and out by 6am. I had some place to be by 7am that day and was woken up at 630. It wasn't a huge deal, just a little irritating that it was stressed from the assistant when making the appointment that 6am exit is non negotiable. That worked for me. So I would just say to ensure that you speak up and confirm times with them. After that, I'm sure they'll follow through. read more

Outrageous cancelation fee - $125 - for an appointment I missed bc - duh - I have a sleep disorder, didn't sleep at all the night before, and slept thru the time for the Zoom appointment. Yes, $125 for a missed video call. Video or live, $125 is an illegal "liquidated damages" provision. I was also not impressed by my earlier sleep test there (2023). I had to wait a long time for them to let me in, and later they tossed me out at 5am. read more

I contacted CSCC months ago and have only dealt with no one ever picking up the phone, calls/emails go unanswered, when someone did call back they asked me to 'fax' my medical records (who faxes anymore?) even though my records had been provided months ago! On a last-minute televisit call with the Dr., she said she didn't have my sleep study results, I told her they were emailed to her months ago and, then, she found them in her files. Very poor communication, unprofessional company. Here I am at the end of the insurance calendar year, and no CPAP machine. It has been 2 months of dealing with a very unprofessional company. I will never go back to this place--a terrible waste of time and money. I needed a new Bipap machine to treat my severe obstructive sleep apnea. I had been without therapy for weeks after my machine died, commuting to work 1.5 hours each way, occasionally nodding off on the highway, endangering my life. I met with one of their doctors for a 5 minute virtual consultation, where he merely took my name, DOB, address, etc., and scheduled a date/time for me to pick up a machine that I needed for my continued sleep therapy. I took off a day of work, only to be told they hadn't yet secured the data from my previous sleep care provider (they could have told me this in advance). I left there with nothing that day, still driving sleepy back and forth to work every day. I desperately searched the internet for a private dealer, who charged me nearly $1,000 for a used machine. Comprehensive Sleep Care later sent me a bill for $308.54, saying the insurance company only paid $111.46. What more did Comprehensive Sleep Care think they had earned??? They threatened to send my account to a collections agency. To protect my credit score, I simply agreed to pay it to get them out of my life. This was an expensive mistake. They should have taken the $111.46 from the insurance company and accepted they did nothing to improve my life or my health. read more

I had a terrible experience with Comprehensive Sleep Care in VA. Here is what happened and what should have happened: -I scheduled a telemedicine appointment over a month ago A few days before my appointment, I received a phone call confirming my appointment. -The Friday right before my Monday appointment, I received another phone call telling me that my appointment was cancelled due to a referral expiration date. -I asked why they did not inform me earlier about the referral issue, since they had contacted me twice before. They said it was a "courtesy check" and that it was my responsibility to renew the referral. -I had to wait for another referral approval, which takes 3-5 business days, and then schedule a new appointment, which will be over a month later, if not 2024, with the holidays coming up. All of this could have been averted by simply contacting me a month before to state I needed to renew my referral. It's in their admin system. I was very frustrated and angry with the lack of communication and customer service from this medical facility. They wasted my time and delayed my treatment. I do not trust them to provide me with quality care and I will not go back there again. I advise other Tricare members to avoid this place and look for better alternatives. read more

Avoid this sleep clinic if you desire accurate results. In March of 2025 I completed a sleep study using the Comprehensive Sleep Care Center in Alexandria through a VA referral. Recently I was able to see my results, signed by Dr Charu Sabharwal, but the data presented does not appear to be mine. Apart from my name and DOB, my height, weight and referring physician were simply wrong. This resulted in erroneous recommendations, one of which stated that my sleep issues were due to my high BMI (29.3???). This report also stated that the microphone monitoring revealed frequent mild snoring. That's interesting because I don't recall using any microphone. I contacted the center to discuss the results and they would not let me talk to any doctor or specialist and instead recommended I make an appointment but would have to pay out of pocket. I suspect Dr Charu did not expect anyone to ever challenge these reports so they don't care what's in them. But the results matter to me and I pay attention. If this clinic can't put in a reasonable effort to ensure the report is accurate how should anyone else trust theirs. So what further steps can I take here? read more

She was very helpful in checking my CPAP machine and reminding me to always just the air filter. Really appreciate her help and professionalism. I've had an overall great experience with the sleep clinic. They were very welcoming and helpful when I did my initial overnight sleep study. And then Bojana helped me out a lot when it came to becoming acclimated with my CPAP machine and finding the perfect size mask to wear while sleeping. I know I was quite annoying with the emails and questions but she always helped me and gave me the information that I needed. Even the receptionist at the front desk were nice. I definitely recommend the sleep clinic to others. read more

I had a very good experience during my sleep study and when I picked my cpap from this center. The technician who took care of me at the sleep study has been very polite and professional. He explained what I have to do and when things will be changed during the night. He responded promptly to my questions. (I am very sorry I don't remember his name!) Bojana helped me with the cpap machine. She was competent and caring. She very clearly described the machine and explained what I need to do and how. Besides the manuals that come with the machine, she pointed to other resources too. read more

I have the Misfortune to be working with the Lansdowne, Virginia office. After taking an inhome sleep test, I was referred to AdaptHealth in Winchester to pick up a machine and go through the training. When I called the sleep center office to get some information on who would be calling me, and what I was supposed to do, I was referred to some person who works remotely, and who never called back for several days. The sleep center office was absolutely no help. After I got the machine it kept me awake Because the pressure settings were all wrong. I was told I had to call the sleep center office to have them send new settings to adapt health. No one contacted me about whether this was ever done. After another week of misery I switched masks. And finally my one month apppintment with sleep center occurred. I was told they had no information from my machine because when they called Adapt health their calls were not returned. So, my one month follow up was a waste of time because the sleep center office did not have my data. maybe if someone had actually answered the phone and my questions they would have realized this In time to provide a useful televisit. I have asked how to get in touch with technicians to adjust pressures but the receptionist basically exists to schedule appointments and nothing else. It is impossible to actually talk to a tech or doctor without an appointment, and so far the appointments have been next to worthless. This office is the worst medical office I have ever had experience with. messages You leave with questions are not addressed, calls are not returned, and there is no way to get information from the actual technicians or doctors, without waiting several weeks for an appointment which is worthless since they can't seem to communicate with the machine providers. This is just the absolute worst medical experience I've had. If I could have given zero stars, or negative 10 stars,I would have done so. read more
