Not sure that Quality DME is even still in business. Their website doesn't work. I have been getting text and email reminders that I am eligible for a CPAP resupply, and it takes me to another site that doesn't recognize my login or let me reset it. When I call I get put on endless hold, and eventually just hang up. I left a callback number with the system and have not been called back. Any recommendations for a supplier that would actually be able to supply me? Update: Thank you Erin - I changed my rating, and finally did get a message back to my inquiry, but still not the greatest experience, especially with trying to call. read more

Good with supplies. Poor with billing. I was on autopay when I had employer insurance. I retired and am now on Medicare along with a Medicare Supplemental Plan. Quality DME's billinmg department doesn't know what a supplemental plan is. They think it is a secondary insurance that they would bill directly - which it is not. My supplemental plan pays the 20% coinsurance automatically after Medicare pays there part. Quality DME received the supplemental payment and still charged my card for the same amount four days later. When I called Quality DME's billing department over a month later they saw the credit in their system. When I asked why a refund wasn't issued they told me that they only issue refunds if the patient calls and requests the refund. What?? I have asked that my autopay be stopped and have requested only to be billed via invoice from now on. We'll see if that works. read more

I received my CPAP machine and ready to go. The respiratory therapist Julie, was a virtual visit for set up and walk thru. It was a disaster start to finish. Teams platform did not recognize the meeting code/password. We ended up on the phone. The mask sent was very uncomfortable, bulky, and ill fitting. Leaks continously. I was advised by Julie the mask sent is the popular and well liked device and there is no reason I should not like it. I've been on CPAP before. Prior masks were comfortable, well fitting, and easy to work with. I know how it should be. One does not have to settle with poor equipment. I was reminded throughout the encounter the mask is the most well liked and most popular and there's no reason I should not like it. We spent more time disagreeing on statements than learning. I was advised by her she would be happy when our checklist was complete and our call would be over. I replied, Me too. I was juggling the phone, the machine, hose, the unusable mask, various papers, and my reading glasses while searching and looking at the machine screen, and the apps downloaded on my phone for the products while wearing the mask looking for the ever present leaks. I was chastised for taking so long. I feel abandoned for lack of real education and being left with an inadequate unbearable mask along with the unprofessional behavior exhibited by the respiratory therapist. After the call I consulted with my sister a REAL acute care licensed respiratory therapist for further. I asked a legitimate question of what my setting was as I am often hospitalized and would neet CPAP during admission. She would/could not tell me. This jeopardizes any subsequent acute care forward. There was an error noted in the pre shipment pre programmed setting pressures. I'm assuming it will be addressed but not counting on it, will follow up. As for the mask issues, oh well. on my own or just use it as is. Check list done and she hung up on me. I've reached out to the company for an adequately fitting mask, not caring if it is the most popular mask or not. I want something comfortable and usable and for the correction of the preset pressure setting error discovered. This was the most unprofessional encountered by a licensed Healthcare professional I've ever encountered. I deal with the Lorton office. I'll also be in contact with my insurance provider to advise I'm unable to use the mask sent to explain my non use (aka non compliance) and advise of my experience, being sent a mask and being stuck with it for 3 months, inadequate and misrepresentation of adequate medical goods and services. If I could give 0 I would. I received my initial call from QDME and was told Anthem B/C B/S required I rent my device, about $350 down and $50 per month for the next 13 months. I said I'd prefer to buy and QDME said this was an Insurance company requirement. I called Anthem and they told me to call Apria. $115 down and $12 per month to purchase. read more

Very poor communication. Lack of concern for getting your supplies to you in a timely manner. Can send you a text message when your bill is due but can't send a text or call when your supplies are on backorder. Terrible!!! read more

They asked the question did I sleep well. The answer is no I did not. After several days of trying this product I am unable to sleep using it. It works fine while I'm sitting up but when I lay down it feels like I'm suffocating causing me to hyperventilate. I have tried different masks and I get the same result. I don't believe I should feel like I'm suffocating. Even if I manage to fall asleep I awake soon afterwards with a feeling of suffocation. I've tried adjusting and repositioning it and it still feels like I'm suffocating. Not every product is for everyone and I don't believe this product is made for me. I'm giving them three stars for the most part because they are somewhat responsive when I reach out to them. read more

They kept sending me supplies which I assumed were covered by my Medicare. I didn't need the supplies or the CPAP machine! I sent it all back after 6 months. All of the extra supplies were unopened. They kept sending me bills which I didn't expect but I paid. Now it's over a year later and they sent me another bill for $191 for supplies I returned! I wish I never got involved with this horrible company! read more

I had a good experience initially; however, they keep sending me supplies I do not need. I have asked both verbally and through email. They send a full 6 months supply every 3 months so you do the math. I DO NOT NEED ANYMORE SUPPLIES! If this continues I will complain to my insurance. read more

Very profession and well-qualified but friendly and accommodating. They were amazing at helping me through some of the problems of finding the right CPAP mask. All of the personnel I worked with were very competent, caring and patient and help me try various options until I found something that worked. I particularly liked their "sleep coach" email system. After having the same supply company for 8 years and struggling with their inferior service it has been refreshing to have such a professional and well-run company manage my CPAP supplies and sleep support. My previous company was the only supplier in town so they didn't care. Quality DME shipped out the machine and provided a tracking number and then scheduled an appointment to set the system up.
