I waited to post this review to see if something might change but it didn't. I am exhausted from lack of sleep. I have used CSC for year but only because they send my supplies and I was pretty used to their mediocre service but didn't have to deal with them often. Then my years-old CPAP broke. Keep in mind when you have an appointment they critique your use of the machine and will admonish you for a 94% useage rate. I called on the 7th of Aug to report the broken machine and it is now the 12th of Sep with no machine in sight. How can they justify their statements that use of a machine is critical for a healthy lifestyle yet drag their feet when replacing that machine? The team didn't know the process for requesting new equipment, I didn't get returned calls, I received promise after promise with no follow through. I would never recommend this clinic and plan to move to iNoVA when/if my new machine ever arrives.

Communication is not consistent, they are horrible at follow up or answering phones. I would NOT recommend. Thanks.

Recently had my 2nd overnight sleep study. Both times I found the facility to be clean, the staff were all great.

Comprehensive Sleep Care Center Arlington VA…read more As part of a multi-tiered effort to figure out the sources of newly emerging neuropathy, my doctor recommended that I participate in a sleep study. A clinic operated by Comprehensive Sleep Care Center located in Arlington, Virginia is one of ten CSCC locations in Maryland and northern Virginia. It was conveniently located on a DASH bus route, and was open between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. I arrived at 9 p.m. as scheduled, and was promptly met by Winnie, who explained how the study would be conducted and showed me to my room. In advance of the appointment, I learned that I needed to be sure I had no gel or lotion on my hair - turns out that when setting up the monitoring equipment three or four wires would be affixed to my scalp, and gels could interfere with the study. I slept soundly until about 2 a.m., when I needed to use the restroom. During the study about 15 wires were attached to me and connected to equipment designed to receive data from my sleep. These looked a lot like the wire leads used in EKG monitoring. They're not terribly intrusive and didn't keep me from sleeping. I also had a canula for my nose, to register my breathing while asleep. All of these remained intact during my bathroom visits, and Winnie promptly responded to my call for assistance in getting me disconnected and reconnected to the box that gathered the sleep data. By 4 a.m. Winnie had gathered all the data needed for the study, and I was free to go. While there was a shower facility at the Center, I waited until I returned home to shower and wash the conducting gel from my hair. All things considered, the visit was well planned and well executed.

After working hard for several months to find a sleep center that accepts children, I had my…read moreappointment canceled 3 days before the procedure. The only reason I know is because I called today to confirm the appointment and ensure that we are fully prepared. The receptionist told me that, due to the pre-authorization not yet being received (excuse me, what?! I scheduled this months ago. You had more than enough time.), the appointment had to be canceled. I said, "Okay, so when was someone going to call me and tell me, the patient's mother?" She apologized several times for the issues and helped me reschedule. I then asked what the out of pocket cost for the study would be and she casually said, "$1,000." Um, that's a lot of money. Well worth it, but not something I can cover on short notice. Our new appointment is 4 months away and I am frustrated that we will have to go through several more challenging weeks of poor sleep, exhaustion, negative effects on mood and school performance, etc. Until I am told exactly why and how the preauthorization was not acquired in time and an explanation of what is being done to prevent anyone else from going through this frustration is given, I will continue to be wary and doubtful of anything anyone in this office says. I am now wondering whether we will ever actually have our sleep study performed. Caveat emptor!

Shameful, Deceptive, and Aggressive: My Experience with Integrated Neurology Services…read more On July 7, I called Integrated Neurology Services to schedule an EMG. I spoke with Ms. Hasiet Domenico, who ran my insurance eligibility and clearly told me they were in-network. I trusted her word and moved forward with the appointment. Two months later, I was blindsided with over $1,500 invoice claiming they are not in-network. When I called the billing department, Ms. Saroa told me, in the most dismissive tone, that "scheduling staff have no clue or knowledge about insurance" and that the information I was given was "inaccurate." She gave me an ultimatum: pay the full amount immediately or she would send my account to collections. No apology. No attempt to fix their error. Just threats. I decided to double-check with the scheduling department. The representative confirmed that they do check insurance before scheduling and inform patients if they're out-of-network. After further digging, I learned the truth: Ms. Domenico ran my eligibility, got an error, informed the billing department, and both decided my insurance would not be accepted. But instead of telling me, they kept it a secret and went ahead with the appointment anyway, knowing full well I would later be hit with the bill. This wasn't a simple oversight. It was a deliberate act to lure in a patient under false pretenses and then pressure them into paying a massive bill. Ms. Hasiet Domenico and Ms. Saroa both played a role in this deception, and Integrated Neurology Services clearly tolerates these unethical tactics. If you value honesty, transparency, and basic respect, steer clear of this place. They are not just unprofessional but they are calculated, aggressive, and willing to trap patients for profit.

Our baby is sleeping 11 hours at night with no wake-ups, with 3 hours of naps with clockwork consistent timing. I truly believed our son was just on the very low end of the sleep needs range. At 10 months old, he was still going to bed late, waking 2-4 times a night, and waking up early in the morning. We read a lot online about sleep routines and optimization of the sleep environment. We tried non-stimulating activities before bedtime. We tried "drowsy but awake". Nothing made an appreciable difference. It felt like we'd tried everything and exhausted online resources. We were in desperate need of consistent and continuous sleep. Admittedly, I previously felt pressured by a lot of the recent social media posts saying sleep training is harmful and unnatural. These claims are NOT backed by science by the way. I was wary that sleep training would be synonymous with "cry it out" and did not want my baby to feel abandoned. Thankfully, Kendra provided precise and gentle sleep training instruction. There were some tears, but we were in the room with him to provide comfort as we both learned a new skill together. The differentiators were (i) having a very detailed plan that I could follow, not just general concepts, (ii) receiving benchmarks of how long he would take to go down and how long certain phases would last, and (iii) having a resource to ask questions to as bespoke situations arose. Kendra's plan and support has given me the confidence to handle nighttime sleep and naps like a pro. She has given me back crucial nighttime sleep, so I can continue to work to my fullest potential and give tons of energy to my son during playtime. She's taken away the fear of "solo parenting" while my husband is away on travel for work.

You should see how much the bill was to insurance! All billing-related matters were cleared with my insurance and with me before providing any services, and I appreciate the due diligence and transparency. At arrival, you pull a ticket at the automated kiosk at the gate to activate the gate arm to allow passage. There was no one in the booth, but I didn't expect anyone to be. Parking prices are clearly posted, but Comprehensive Sleep Care Center validates your parking to $0. There is a lot of surface parking (no garage) and the lot is well lit and at the corner of a fairly well-traveled intersection, so it's not creepy or spooky at all at night even if there wasn't a soul in sight. The exterior of the building is swanky, clean, well maintained, adequately lit, and has upscale decor and vibe. Getting in wasn't too easy, and Datawatch Systems, the vendor that provides after-hours door security and access to this building, had inattentive personnel both times I connected with them by pressing the button at the front pedestal that houses ADA push pad (incredibly long wait with the phone ringing over and over) and then when someone picked up, they sounded like they had just woke up. This was 9 PM. The interior was also very clean and well maintained. There were some cleaning staff that just watched me (probably not permitted to allow strangers to enter) as I struggled with getting someone on the phone to let me in. The lobby of the office is fairly small, with seating for about 5 or 6 people. An attendant came out right away, named Yitz. He was cordial, attentive, professional, and provided clear and confident answers to my questions. You first get your parking ticket validated. Then you are asked to take a COVID rapid test and test negative before you're permitted to continue. The process on-site and next steps were clear. I was assigned one room for the sleep study and a different room for the titration study. Both had their own thermostats, a fan, a TV, a nightstand, an arm chair, a queen-size bed, and plenty of blankets. I waited about 15-20 minutes for the attendant to come hook me up with all the wires for the first study and about 45 minutes for the second study. There were others getting similar studies done, but in their own rooms so privacy is maintained. When you're connected to all the electrocardiography wired pads attached to wires on your legs, chest, and head as well as the strain gauges to measure your breathing (takes about 20 minutes), it's incredibly uncomfortable and awkward to move around so it is quite a challenge to fall asleep but evidently I did well so it might not be as bad as you might think. You could use your phone or read a book, but really the best path is to go to sleep and as normally as you can. In the morning, the technician removes all the pads/wires and if your chest and legs are hairy, hair will rip off. You have the option to shower on site (they provide towels, soap, and shampoo) or just go home. The liquid adhesive that goes on your head to measure brain activity is nasty and feels disgusting on your fingers, so I recommend showering on site. Make sure your parking ticket is validated, or else risk paying $10 to exit. As of mid-December 2022, they don't require masks anymore, but feel free to wear one if it makes you feel more comfortable.

He lacks any bedside manner & empathy for an aging patient with various ailments. Telling us,my mother's condition (82 yrs old woman), she has bad luck and can die within 3 years if she doesn't take his very expensive medicine, that I am sure he makes a $$ cut from. And his office DOESNT mince words and gives the NEWS AS IT IS!!! Wow, Im shocked he still has his 700 patients with the same condition. I am deeply concerned for them. As of today I have canceled all appointments and have received a referral from INOVA hospital & this Dr saw my mother today. He displayed a human kindness, common courtesy & was attentive to our concerns. He has assured us after his review of her records & exam that her condition was caught in early stages, and isnt in the dire state , that was presented to us yesterday from Dr. Dubey! Other treatments are available then just an expensive drug program that comes with his experation date opinions ! Shame on you "Dr.".
