I was treated as if I caused the damage to a laptop I purchased. The manager was really rude, he flat out denied me and said "well I don't know how it looked it before you bought it, etc." I really never understood his reasoning since I was within the 15 day return with a RECEIPT & all of the accessories included. I told him the screen was glitching, even showed him a video I recorded while it was happening and he accused me of causing the water damage. I told him I bought it open box and took the risk, why would I waste anyone's time to lie and return it? I wanted to change it and buy a new one knowing I'll have to pay more. Only one person in that store seemed like they like their job or are willing to help. I left, called customer service and asked about the policy. I went to Best Buy Stockton - I explained what happened to the tech specialist manager in Stockton and he was understanding and amazing!! I truly just wanted to purchase a new laptop top without any issues. He said I was within the 15 day returned policy and he was able to give me Advice on which warranty to purchase should anything happen to the brand new lap top. I've never had any issues with Best Buy Stockton. THANK YOU ZACH, C! Give them another chance, you won't regret it.

Best Buy has a reputation for good prices but they have CHEAPED OUT by…read morehiring a delivery 3rd party service with no skills and very poor customer service on all levels. All they are is muscles and balked at having an unfamiliar hook up for water line into my new GE refrig/freezer and having to remove the doors to go through a kitchen door. Even their supervisor was a failed experience. Back at Stockton store they had no apology or any responsibility to customer. The solution, try again in 3 days different delivery people. In the meantime, my food sits in ice chest???? Best Buy needs to realize their name sold the items and their name is at stake with terrible customer service. Don't sell what you can't deliver with installation! Delivery doesn't mean you leave the item in the garage like one of my driver/installers wanted to do! I've been a frequent customer over the years but NEVER AGAIN!

Before doing so, I reached out to Deborah for her recommendations and thoughts on which way to go. After serious consideration and double-checking of the monthly budget, I decided to make the big leap (for me) to Apple. After getting the new computer set up, Deborah applied all of her mystical powers and years of knowledge in transferring over all of my Windows data to OIS in an easy (for me) manner. Because Deborah has extensive knowledge and familiarity with both operating systems she was able to breeze through minor glitches and setting issues that would have sent me into a frustrated tizzy. After everything was swapped over and working, she gave me a quick tour of the many software marvels and improvements that have come to pass since the inception of XP. This is my first Apple product and after two weeks I am certain that I made the best decision because everything is integrated and works seamlessly!
