Dishonest and unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I took my phone here after falling in a pool for 3 seconds. I have an iPhone 12 pro max. FaceID stopped working and there was a little bit of condensation I could see in the cameras so I took it in to have it dried out and looked at. When I received my phone back FaceID still didn't work which was fine because everything else did and I plan on getting the 14 when it is released. Between the shop and my house (20 minutes) a bright line appeared on the screen. I explained this to them and they said "It wouldn't be from the water since the water was gone when it happened." After looking at it again the next day they proceeded to blame me and say "you must have damaged it between leaving here and getting home." Unwilling to accept responsibility they wanted another $209 on top of the $130 I paid for the initial repair. Amazing right? Some other unprofessional notes were not answering their phone for an hour and not operating within business hours forcing me to wait outside in 100 degree heat until someone answered the door when we agreed on a specific drop off time. . read more

I dropped my phone in my dog's water dish and it was working but stopped charging. I made a call the TechSabe and he said to bring it in and he would see what he could do. When I arrived, he had a customer he was working with, but he politely acknowledged b=me and said he would be with me shortly...customer service??? Who does that? Apparently, they do at TechSabe! When he got to my phone and after I explained to him my issue (which he said he remembered my phone call), he told me my choices and what he would do. I left my phone with him and opened it up and took a look. A couple hours later he called to say that my charging area had some slight damage and recommends I replace it, but he did fix it to allow me to be able to charge it until he can order the part. As a small businessman myself its extremely important to have my phone as I have so many clients and made sure of that. Don't risk it, save your time and money, go somewhere else. I wish I had trusted my gut feeling with going to another business for laptop repair after speaking to Enrique on the phone the first time, but thought I give him a try, give business to small shops in town. 2 weeks and $500 later, all my photos and software, gone. My MacBook Pro was diagnosed with having too much data with little space left in storage (it slowed my computer down to where I couldn't login). Enrique called me on a Friday with the diagnosis, repair options, and estimates. When he stated he would transfer the data onto an external drive, I asked if I needed to provide the external hard drive or if it was included in the quote. He stated they had an external drive so there was nothing else required on my end. I asked when the laptop would be fixed and ready for me to pick up, he said Monday, latest Tuesday, and that he would call me. I never received a call either day, nor Wednesday. I called Thursday, in which a woman told me that they started working on the laptop Wednesday morning and are waiting for me to bring them an external hard drive before they can repair it (are you kidding me???!!!). I dropped off an external hard drive I bought at Costco ($100), and asked Enrique if the purchase would be deducted from my quote since I had to purchase what he said was already included in the quote. Nope, he just claimed it was miscommunication. I bite the bullet and just say fine, I just want my laptop fixed and data restored. He says he will call me the next day, Friday, to pick up the laptop. Never heard back from him. I call back Monday (they're closed Saturday and Sunday), Enrique picks up saying "Oh yeah, it's here, ready for you to pick up." When I logged into my MacBook at home, it appeared as though it had been replaced entirely with a new laptop as it was returned to it original settings. Immediately, I discover that all my purchased software was gone, all my downloaded music, gone, what's worse? All my saved photos in iphoto, years and years of memories, gone. When I confronted Enrique, he wouldn't compensate in any way, stating he performed the work and got my computer to work and that he's not responsible for the disappearance of my software, that I would have to download them back in myself. Yes I am happy I can log onto my laptop now, but why would I pay for all this data to be deleted and the work I have to go through to restore all the software I have purchased over the years? I didn't pay for that service, and that was never addressed to me before he repaired my laptop. $30 for diagnosis + $350 repair + $100 external hard drive, nearly $500 for a laptop that is missing purchased software and years of photos. And it took him nearly 2 weeks to do all this??? Unbelievable. read more

Went there for a iPhone 6S Screen repair. My screen was cracked but everything else was working fine. Never had any problems. So I got my screen repaired by TechSabe. After I got it back I had stains in my screen, can't hang up or cancel calls and the left side of my screen is not working right in general. I went back to tell them about my problem and ask them if they can please repair their mistake. All I got was "That's not in the warranty." All overall that means I can use my phone in a worse condition now than it was when I brought it there. They were really nice but not helpful at all. Would never recommend to anyone. After a second attempt to repair it, they tried to sell me a refurbished computer. They installed microsoft upgrade and new boards, that never worked. Went here with very high hopes considering the ratings. My Iphone 4s screen cracked and i needed a quick repair. They seemed promising at first scheduling me in and taking the details down. Took about and hour and a half, not bad right?,,.. 1. But before i left i was wondering why my phone had no signal. He forgot to put my sim card back in. just lovely. No big deal right i caught it before i left. 2. I get home (30 minutes away) and i get a phone call from them stating they forgot to put the two screws that secure the iphone completely. Well that was just the tipping point for my patience. Had to drive back to town to have them replaced, gas was not cheap. 3. i commented on the discoloration of my screen, he said that they used my original LCD screen, from experience, for Iphone 4s systems the LCD screen does not detach easily from the glass screen. Whether he lied about it being mine and saying it was like that before or he magically could do it, my screen was discolored after the repair and I'm positive it wasn't from me, I obviously use my phone everyday i'm sure i know what it looks like. I'm not one to through a fuss but this was a very disappointing experience. Never will go here again nor will i recommend this place to anyone. I unfortunately have the worst luck with my phones. FORTUNATELY, Enrique and his crew have come through for me a couple of times. I recently broke my screen along with a bend in my phone. I thought for sure all hope was lost and there was no way to repair it. I hadn't backed up my photos and I was devastated thinking they would be lost. Lucky for me, these guys know their stuff. Would not recommend this place whatsoever. Was charged and initial deposit/assessment fee for my iPhone 7. He gave me an estimate before of what he thought the price would be before placing my deposit. After collecting my deposit, he told me there would be a takedown fee along with the initial price he gave me before. I would have went elsewhere if he had told me this before taking my initial deposit. I figured he already had my assessment fee so I asked him to go ahead and fix the phone. He told me he would be done with it in about a week. I called back several times and it was obvious that he hadn't even looked at my phone in over a week. When he finally looked at the phone he said that one of his tools wasn't working and that he would order a new one. One month later...no word on my phone. Ended up not being able to fix my phone. I called a couple of places in Elk Grove but was shocked that they wanted over $200 for the repair. When I called TechSabe, I was happy with their well below $200 quote! The place is open until 6:00pm during the week. I called at 4:00pm and they were nice enough to squeeze me in that evening. Great customer service. I spoke with Enrique (owner) over the phone. All my photos on my computer & external hard drive were deleted with no remorse, explanation, or plan to figure out how to get them back whatsoever. About 4,000 photos in all. All of the places I called before I found techsabe wanted about half what a new iPad cost, and they wouldn't have it finished for over a week.
