After uploading the new Big Sur operating system on my MacBook Air, my Apple Mail app suddenly stopped working. Having Mail operational was critical because I had saved many important emails from my job in custom folders. I could use Gmail as a temporary stand-in, but it gave me no access to those all-important folders. My fear was that I would have to wait for weeks for Apple to develop a fix. So I called Angelo. I contacted CompuMan by phone mssg after not being able to restore wi-fi connection to my IPad iOS8. He assessed problem over the phone, thought it was likely due to my modem. He offered to look at my iPad same afternoon, and said if it was my modem there would be no charge. Turns out he was right. He then drew a diagram for me to take home showing how all my devices and desktop were connected thru landline to internet/wi-fi. I left knowing how to solve my wi-if problem - No charge. I found and entered my modem keypassphrase (Apple was asking simply for a pw) and my wi-fi reconnected. He was efficient, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I bought a used 24-inch iMac desktop from Compuman 1.5 years ago. It's still running great with no problems or viruses. I really appreciate the expertise of this computer professional. He answers all my questions and has recommended compatable programs for my machine. He has always treated me in a respectful and professional manner even when my questions were simple. I'm a student so obviously it was really stressful when my Macbook Pro's LTD display suddenly went totally blank. being in bellingham often for family, i wasnt sure who to go to when my macbook stopped working after visiting my parents. At one point way back in the past he built me a gaming computer and i figured he would be the best to go to. I took my computer to him, which had juice spilled on it from my niece.... he was able to fix this expensive macbook pro in a decent amount of time! he explained to me the cleaning and drying process to me very clearly and how it would 7 - 10 days. This man has helped me substantially over the last couple of months with my mid 2017 MacBook Pro. Angelo is a super nice guy and really seems to have a passion for this line of work. With that being said, he responds to text, calls, and emails very quickly. He is always down to meet up and evaluate/diagnose the problem as fast as he can and gets straight into the work that needs to be done. He is a very humble man that does not charge much (compared to others) and has even just helped me out with no charge on small things (i.e. fixing the notorious space bar problem with the newer macs). In the middle of an assignment for her radio transcription, my daughter's computer died. To reboot, she needed to save everything. When it didn't work she called the shop near us who informed her it would take a week. She called CompuMan, who finished the whole project by 8:00 that night working overtime. Not only did he eliminate the viruses that were clogging the system, but reinstalled all of her Swiss apps and reset the proper language configurations. When I spilled a full glass of carbonated beverage across the keyboard of my MacBook Air in early December, I feared the worst. Angelo is a really friendly guy, and willing to work with what you want, rather than try to push something more expensive on you (in my case, I was wondering about getting a solid state drive for my 2011 iMac; he said I could stay with my old drive, it was working, but after talking about it, decided I did want the SSD). That and cleaning up the Mac was done in a day. It's a bit of a drive out to his place, and his yard is funky, but his work is excellent and my machine is bright and perky now. Not only that but even on a Saturday when he's closed, he called me up because I missed him the previous day.
