TLDR: Their prices appear to be great deals, but you'll inevitably pay more in inconvenience, frustration, and wasted time trying to get what you actually need. Dealt with them several years ago for an order of ~10 used laptops. Reasonably priced and free delivery. Quality of the laptops was decent. OK, cool Dealt with them this year for another batch of used laptops. Delivered batch of 10 laptops and told me, off-hand as they were leaving, "Oh I know you ordered each laptop with 8GB of RAM but 4 of them only have 4GB because it's all we had. I'll drop off the correct memory later." Wonderful. Would have preferred to have been warned in advance, so I could ask that they only deliver the order when it was actually complete and correct, but I'm stuck now, I guess. Thus begins an annoying month of waiting, phone calls, and emails trying to arrange for the delivery of the additional memory. Finally, memory was dropped off. BUT. It was the wrong type. Another several weeks of unanswered emails and calls to the poor front desk worker without actually being able to talk to the person in charge of ordering the correct hardware and delivering on the order. At this point, I'm chalking this up to an expensive lesson learned, as I will probably need to just go buy the required memory instead of waiting at the mercy of poor communication and even poorer customer service. read more

Wish I could give a zero star! Absolutely awful experience. Staff was rude, disrespectful, and worst not knowledgeable. They had to defer to their boss man behind the wall for every question. Products were way overpriced, and they did not have anything on my list in stock, and instead wanted to pull old parts from old systems in the back. Then they wanted to charge me the price of a new part for this old piece of crap part they pulled, God knows if it even works. This place is a far cry from General Nanosystems people! Save your money, it's not worth the hassle. I bought some cheap ram and a spare hard drive from a really nice guy. The hard drive wasn't working so I brought it back in. They had forgotten to wipe it. I'm all or employing the handicapped but the disabled guy that assisted me was being snotty for no reason and wouldn't answer simple yes or no questions. read more

First review ever, had to warn about this place. I have never dealt with a less professional business. I brought in my computer for repair of its wifi, fan, and case. They told me the total cost would be less than $100. Later they are aggressively calling me multiple times, making sure I am coming to the store with "$200 in cash" so I can retrieve my computer, on which the wifi was not fixed, and the fan was not replaced. They kept insisting it was "like new" so I ended up forking over $190 for them flattening out a few bends in the case just to get my computer back and not to deal with them hassling me anymore. Beware of these guys they're very unethical!! I purchased a cable that the boss man guaranteed me would work. It didn't it was the wrong cable. I travel so I can't could not get back to the store right away. They just refused to give me a refund even though they sold me the incorrect and defective product. I refused to take a store credit after he showed me the fine print on the invoice which actually states they don't even have to refund any your money and you don't get an exchange unless you return it within five days. I bought a laptop charger from this place last summer for about $37 + tax. Over the phone the person working said it was an "Authentic" HP charger; I arrived and realized it was not an authentic HP charger, but instead a used aftermarket laptop charger (not in original packaging). I questioned the worker and was told it came with a 1 year warranty. Not knowing much about laptop chargers at the time, I thought it was a decent deal and bought it. When I arrived home, I did a search on google and realized that the same model charger on Amazon was $20 "brand new". BUT, Just recently I walked in again and tried to see if the place had an ATX extension cable. The person working there instead told me to buy a new power supply, after 5 minutes of looking at the power-supply inventory I noticed the stuff looks old/used. Plus the store worker refers to people of his ethnicity as brothers and appears to be much nicer to them. I will not come here again. read more

I had a little suspicion prior to shopping there due to the overwhelming negative reviews on Yelp, Google and Yahoo. Now I understand why. I am now actually having a hard time understanding why they still exist as a business!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Complete story~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Called to have a quote on iPhone 5 screen replacement. The woman who picked up the phone quoted me $69. Thinking it's a reasonable price + their location is close, I then went ahead and bought the Yelp Deal (paid $50 for the voucher for $100 to spend at the store). Went in the second day at 11:30 am. Store is still closed (store hours 10 - 8). Went again at 2, finally open. The guy at the store said it's gonna be $69 - $89. I had doubts but agreed. Phone left with the guy and I left. The guy called me around 5 and asked how I would pay. I said Yelp Deals. He then said his boss said $89 is only for same day service. For the same day service, it's a rush service and the price is $139. I asked to talk to his boss and he said his boss is "extremely busy". I can clearly hear that "his boss" was talking to him. I already got angry at this point but said I can wait until tomorrow. That guy put me on hold for like 20 minutes. I hung up and called back. He then completely changed his story, said the $89 is a student special price and can not combine it with Yelp Deals. Now I have two options: pay $89 in cash or pay $139 with the Yelp Deal no matter what day I'm picking up my iPhone. But to their surprise, inconveniently, I am a student..... Then the guy put me on hold again for 10 minutes. (So apparently the fact that I am using an Yelp Deal makes a difference. That makes them not want to honor the price.) At this point I am furious. Asked to transfer to his boss for the third time and this time this mastermind behind all these crap finally picked up the phone. He said: 1) we are not a fish shop and we do not negotiate price 2) we are not Apple. they charge $100 to fix the phone we must charge $140. At this point I can't help but laugh. If this is a theater play I will give them a 5 star as they truly exceed people's expectation -- beyond reason and logic, amusing and self-destroying. Unfortunately they are not theater actors. Or are they..?? CRIMINALS! They advertised a computer with 4 GB of RAM that had only 2 GB. They advertised it came with Adobe Master Collection, Pro Logic, and Final Cut, which was the entire reason I made the purchase. Then the person we were dealing with, I believe "Lee" was his name, instead CLONED someone else's hard drive when he said he was "installing" the software. This not only put PIRATED versions of unlicensed software on my computer, but the former HDD owner's tax and bankruptcy information as well. The computer was nearly unusable until I wiped it and reinstalled an operating system, it was so corrupted. When I called and stated I wanted my additional 2 GB of RAM and the advertised software, they told me to just return the MAC. I believe I will investigate my legal remedies to compel them to provide the advertised software or the cash equivalent. read more

Very overpriced machines, many of them 3 years or older for $400, wayyy too much money. The place is chaotic, there are few people who go in there but there is tons of infighting between the staff and the owner, and it can make it hard to concentrate. The owner will cut you off and interrupt you whenever you try and ask a question or make a point, and he seems manic and egotistical but not that educated about computer hardware. It is very frustrating dealing with him as you cannot get in a word or ask a question, he ignores that, and that is a horrible way to try and sell. Service and repairs are erratic at best, its a complete gamble about whether buying a computer or getting a repair done will be a nightmare that drags on for 2 weeks or not. The owner seems to have a problem with honesty and you can end up paying a lot more than you were first quoted, then get into a yelling match if you point that out. Stay away. There are far better places to buy better computers at better prices, places to get reliable professional repairs, and places where the owner or the staff understand computer hardware and don't try and just ramble for 5 minutes bulldozing over any questions you try to ask. read more

Really unpleasant experience. The boss is very pushy and condescending, and from I could tell, does not treat his workers with any respect. There were a lot of red flags in dealing with these guys. I couldn't tell if they really were shysters, but there is a lot about this place that stinks. For instance, when looking at my desktop, they told it me was infected with a virus called CryptoWall. But that virus wasn't around before this spring, and the computer had not been turned on for a year until I brought it to them. Not proof of wrong doing, but strange. Basically these guys are really pushy and evasive. I had to cut my losses and reclaim my unit just so I would be able to stop interacting with them. Don't do it. read more

I've only bought a few things here; I found what I needed, and the price wasn't bad. I've seen some of the negative reviews, and I can see where that might happen; the place and its staff have kind of a "used car salesman" vibe about them. They will try to upsell you! That might be a cultural thing, and I don't care, since I can deal with used car salesmen just fine. Anyway - my experience, so far, for what I've needed (power supplies, monitors, cables, odds and ends) has been just fine for the price. Wow... this place is dirty, smells horrible, and the machines are old and overpriced. Anyone who would come here and spent $1000 on a used beat up Macbook Pro is insane. Their website computermegamall.com is a huge joke its just some pre-made template with products slapped on that they probably don't even have in stock. I tried to drive down here after seeing some craigslist ad for computer mega mall repairs, and the person I spoke to at the store scared me with his lack of computer knowledge while trying to pitch me that I would not want him even touching my laptop. These assholes sold my mom an ipod touch 1st gen and told her it was NEW. It was USED and it had none of the features that the current 4th gen touches have including voice command, built in speaker, ect. My mom didnt know much about this stuff and i took her in to return it, she paid as MUCH as a new one would cost, and the owner laughed at us and seriously started almost yelling at us about his justification that its ok to do this because "best buy bends you over and screws you too". this place is crooked, stay FAR FAR away read more

I walked in without an appointment and a broken iphone 5. I had a diagnosis and a very cheap price within 2 hours! The overall repair process took less than a day (replaced my screen). The staff was polite and I really felt like they wanted to help me solve my problem and not take my money. The guy even stopped me and mentioned that if I ran to get cash it would be cheaper than paying with my card. I recently bought my 16 gb 4th G. Ipad to get it repair by Computer Mega mall shop, overall, the service and customer services are extremely poor. On the first day when I dropped my ipad off, Lee told me they will repaired my ipad on the same day, but it turns out to be a month and a half later. Every times when I called or passed by, my ipad was not repair or ready and the worker don't know whereabout. For some reasons, they like to blame on each other when one's is not presented. The owner who work on my ipad told me that because it was his fault and inconvenience for me, he will deliver it to me no later than a day, but this did not happen. I ended up calling them again, a week later, however, Lee told me over the phone that the owner (long hair, hairy guy) made a slight error, and that they will replaced my ipad for a 32 gb, 4th generation for $200. When I went back and get the ipad, Lee handed me back my original ipad and told me that the owner had it fixed, and the total charge is $160 cash ONLY. I look at my ipad, the screen was not properly replace, there are more scratches than I expected, the inside screen was all smear with fingerprints, and the power button was not workable. I confronted Lee and he deny it, he said it was like that when I dropped in, then a few minutes later, he stated that it was the owner. From my experiences with Computer Mega Mall, my two cents to anyone who is planning on doing business with them, before you take your electronic to get it repair, think twice before you do it. Obviously, mine experience with them is extremely poor because if you calculate the amount of times you spent going back and forth, on phone and the amount of lies they made, it's clearly not affordable anymore. read more
