Horrible service. I called last Friday was told that Mike was the only one to upgrade an Xbox hard drive and he was at Bullhead City location. I was also told it would take 1-2 hours to do no need for an appointment and it was $99. On mon I took my Xbox down with new drive told him what they said. He then informed me it was $150 but would do it for $99 because what I was told. Later on that day I got a call saying my brand new ssd Samsung 860 would not work. After driving down there I ran across to Walmart got a different ssd. A western digital. Took it back to him and was told this one will work just find and he would start it in the morning. Around 2 pm today I tried to call but no answer so I went down there and asked to speak with Mike. Other employee came out and said he will call when it's done and it won't be done today. Ask for manager find out it was Mike and he would still not come talk to me. 30 mins later I got a phone call to come pick up my Xbox he wasn't doing it and he's not dealing with me. This guy does not know what he is doing and lies to the customer. He's a manager when asked to speak to hides in back and won't talk to customer. He broke the seal voiding warranty and refused to do the install I had left it for. I went over to the computer shop and had it done in 1 hour using the my first ssd drive. I suggest not using this place and going elsewhere. They evidently don't know what he's doing and his service to a customer is unprofessional. Also to let all know when I told him he needed to finish it cause had already broken the seal that voided my warranty he said now I'm charging you $150 so come pay me now and it will take days. I did file a police report against them for breaking the seal and will be seeking an attorney more than likely. On an updated note and to prove he doesn't know what he was doing I took it across the street to the computer shop and they did it in one hour using the original Samsung 860 ssd Mike could not get to work. So he also admitted his staff does not know what he charges and how long so when you get a quote from them it may almost double in price and the time frame when your told 1-2 hours from a person that works there and you don't need an appointment it's more like days and then they don't know how to do it. Look is associate is hear to help defend him...lol. Overall a company gives you time frame dollar amount and told they can do it they have done it and it will work and this happens. Should have read other reviews first..lol joke of a company. TonY I your so stupid failed equipment. Xbox brand new check. First Samsung 860 ssd brand new checked factory sealed delivery. Second western digital ssd drive check factory sealed with receipt from Walmart across way within 5 min = Computer nerds can't do cause end result they don't know how. The Computer store= done in 1 hour with original Samsung ssd 860 Evo that Mike said he could never get them to work. So sorry bud it wasn't the drives it was the worker. Have a nice day. And oh hey Tony I it was your employee on original call that said it was 1-2 hr turn around not me so the time frame was on you guys to begin with and when I told Mike of this he didn't say anything. Lol what a joke blame the customer for all when it was you employed and staff that can't do the job and give the wrong price and wrong time frame...lol Keep on talking Tony I you weren't there when everything was said and yes there is a report on file and it was made in case I got an attorney involved because Mike broke the seal and couldn't do the work. I'm not going to do you any favors and give you a report number after all this I have it and that what matters. Also the report was made before I picked up the Xbox from computer nerds because he couldn't do it. For everyone to know the Computer Store is a great place to go. They have awesome customer service told me a price and charged me that price and not try to raise it for any reason. Also they kept right up with there time frame and had done within an hour. The best part was the original Samsung 860 Evo that didn't work at Computer Nerds worked fine for the tech at the Computer Store. Glad I hadn't returned it cause it was a better Ssd drive. Overall the Computer Store I would recommend. Love the way I was treated and the show of respect. Don't think some guy who wasn't there for all conversations would blame the customer. The only one that was in the store yesterday was Mike not this piece of junk Tony I. So you really should make sure you know cause you don't. I asked to speak to mike he refused to come out. He gave me the time frame of yesterday organally not me then he told me he would have done first thing today not me so the time frame came from there employee Mike and Tony I doesn't know anything cause he was not there. Initial service was ok. Then the repair started to take days and days more than what I was initially told. I called numerous times asking for the manager wich I was told on first call was Mike. Each time I would be put on hold then guy who answered phone would come back and state that he was told to tell me when the repair was done I would get a call. I even when in there 1time when Kingman store employee answered phone and said he was there explained I needed to talk to mike and find out what was going on and why it was taking so long. The employee walked back then came out and said same thing mike says when it's done you'll get a call and it won't be today. First off when u ask to speak to a manager and he's there it's his job to talk to the customer. Not sure Mike has the people skills needed to be a manager. The owner stats on this site that the customer is the boss and #1 but I'm afraid he doesn't have this practice installed in the way his manager thinks. I finally got my laptop back the other day. I will not be going back there do to the customer service. I am leaving a picture attached of the owners motto on yelp. I suggest no one go there I see other reviews about poor service and Mike being involved in more than one. Seems there's an issue with this gentleman wether he doesn't like his job or he's not a people person and in wrong line of buisness. Poor customer service. My husband and I went in we were told we needed an os reinstall and were given a price. We then paid for it. Upon picking up our laptop we were told there was $60 more we owed. My husband asked why what else did you have to do and was told nothing it was just harder than expected. My husband said there was no phone call and I paid upfront and was told the only change would be if I needed a new hard drive which the employee had just told us there wasn't anything else fixed it was just harder. My husband then stated that wasn't right and was told by the employee well if you don't want to pay you won't get your laptop. Even being pissed we payed it knowing he was wrong and will never go there again. We suggest the Computer Store to all our friends and family now for fast, reliable service, and great customer service. These capable lads saved my computer from a super ugly virus, which saved me from going completely bonkers. They are extremely knowledgeable and it's really impressive to see their willingness to dive right in with their problem solving. So, instead of being without my computer for days, they had my computer debugged, revitalized, working at faster speeds all within a couple of hours. My Husband and I took my new computer to ComputerNerds to see if they could install more memory. They could have charged us a bunch of money to install more memory but instead they showed us how to move our files to another drive thus re-leaving our full drive and gave us 50% more memory. Update: after a not so good first start PC Nerds fixed my issues and refunded my money back and fix my computer.
