Took my in because it had run out of disk space and needed to be migrated from Windows 10 to 11. My computer is a Dell gaming computer which has two hard drives, a 128GB and a 1TB. For some reason only the 128GB drive was being used and Computer Nerds was having a hard time setting up the two drives as a RAID configuration. So after a few days we collectively agreed that they could format the 1TB drive and install windows 11 on that drive. When I got the computer back, they had only removed Office 365 and installed Windows 11 on the 128GB drive, and the 1 TB was wasn't even formated. Now I don't have room on my hard drive to install Office 365. A week waiting for my computer to come out of the shop I now have to take it to another shop to have everything wiped out and re-install Windows 11 on the 1TB drive. read more

Can I give a minus 5 stars? I took my iMac to these guys because it was running poorly. When I got it back, nearly 10 days later, my most important file folder with about three years of work in it was GONE! No way to estimate the loss of that much work. They tried to blame my system, but somehow only one folder was missing, and it was the one that I virtually cannot live without. $700 out of pocket. If I were in their shoes, I'd be too embarrassed to charge for creating such a mess. I wouldn't trust these people ten-year-old cell phone, let alone a computer. Potential lawsuit. read more

Nicholas and Mike where both amazing! I took my custom PC in and Nick helped me troubleshoot the issue down to the motherboard. They aslo did an amazing job doing a factory reset and installing a new fan on my grandfather's laptop. I took my Computer to Computer Nerds here in Kingman, AZ, last Wed. I needed a Hard Drive. I got my Computer back yesterday, Mon. I didn't need to do a thing, as everything was exactly where I left it. I am totally impressed with Computer Nerds. Great job!!!! The price was extremely fair, and the service was fantastic! I visited Computer Nerds this morning shortly after they opened. They fixed my laptop's problem, which was a key that had popped off. They also cleaned my keyboard, both at no charge. Both employees were very knowledgeable and polite. Looking at their business card after I arrived home I learned it is also a Veteran-owned business. 2nd great experience I have had here, brought in my new prebuilt pc that wasn't showing a display. A employee named Phoenix was very helpful in trying to pinpoint or fix my issue. He wasn't able to fix it but tried his best free of charge. I realized later today that I forgot to get my PSU power cord by the time I realized shop was already closed. I'll come by tomorrow and see if that's still around. read more

Had Malware embedded in my Mac Laptop that wouldn't allow the use of Google as my search engine. Took it in to 'Computer Nerds'. Nicholas was knowledgeable, professional and personable. He was able to diagnose and treat my Mac that very day (along with finding/removing several other virus' in the computer). He called me when it was done. I got a years worth of Bullgaurd Antivirus for my troubles. No complaints about the service my Mac received. It runs better than it has in quite in a while. I am a senior monthly member and several times they have fixed one of my non covered computers at no charge. Broke the screen on my iPhone. No one in bullhead could fix it. So I tried these guys. I called and they said no problem. I asked how much and how long. After waiting on the phone for 10 min, comes back and tells me $215 and will take 10 days. I inform him that the apple factory wants $110 and 3 days which includes shipping time. He then tells me apple is not doing what I want done. He statement was " they are going to rip you off and not fix your phone. They are just going to send you a new phone ". We had this service over two years at $15.00 per month and we will never use them again! We called almost two weeks ago and left a message, no one called us back until today to let us know they have a new service for $30.00 per month that includes house calls. WOW! I ordered a part for my laptop and it came in in record time, however it was the wrong part (wrong voltage amount) and they said I would be charged a 35% restocking fee to return it and get the correct part. The person who helped me was extremely rude and claimed their policy was written on the order form and that it was a "typical fee for a small business. We are not Walmart." I never claimed I thought they were Walmart. As for the error message on the boot up for the wrong part they ordered, he said he could "get rid of" the error message. I will never do business with them again and recommend others be very cautious if ordering parts. read more

Initial service was ok. Then the repair started to take days and days more than what I was initially told. I called numerous times asking for the manager wich I was told on first call was Mike. Each time I would be put on hold then guy who answered phone would come back and state that he was told to tell me when the repair was done I would get a call. I even when in there 1time when Kingman store employee answered phone and said he was there explained I needed to talk to mike and find out what was going on and why it was taking so long. The employee walked back then came out and said same thing mike says when it's done you'll get a call and it won't be today. First off when u ask to speak to a manager and he's there it's his job to talk to the customer. Not sure Mike has the people skills needed to be a manager. The owner stats on this site that the customer is the boss and #1 but I'm afraid he doesn't have this practice installed in the way his manager thinks. I finally got my laptop back the other day. I will not be going back there do to the customer service. I am leaving a picture attached of the owners motto on yelp. I suggest no one go there I see other reviews about poor service and Mike being involved in more than one. Seems there's an issue with this gentleman wether he doesn't like his job or he's not a people person and in wrong line of buisness. I do want to say this we the customer pay there paychecks and should be given some respect and not disrespected like I was and I'm sure so many are. read more

Terrible customer service. Staff doesn't pay attention to what you are telling them. Their add tech says 24/7 support had to argue to get support for a Sunday after paying a $14.95 fee for 2 years the 1st time I want to use it nope. Stay away they are a rip off! read more

The guys at PC Nerds were very polite and accommodating on the phone, willing to diagnose my problem and quote me on a repair estimate over the phone. In person they were even more accommodating in servicing my tower the same day, within moments of walking in the door. Their techs were knowledgeable, also being willing to share their knowledge in better educating me in the hardware I was using and purchasing. I found their environment pleasant and organized making me feel their professional attention to details. When I was quoted for one price over the phone and spoke to the tech I was dealing with about the price, he quickly informed me that the price quoted was actually higher than the actual cost, as it had been reduced recently. This sort of honesty isn't always found in the business world, and I commend them for being forthright in handling the situation correctly. Although the power supply I purchased was marked up considerably I feel the price was fair due to the service and convenience of dealing with the employees there. Brian, Joe, and all the other employees I dealt with during my brief few hours there were a pleasure and I would recommend using their business again. Their integrity, professionalism, knowledge and courtesy were all on display during my time there, so thank you again PC Nerds. read more

Would NEVER use these guys again. First of all - monthly membership for computer repair? Computer was more screwed up then when I took it to them in the first place. Ended up going to Staples. THEN after a little digging, noticed that their websites even shout that they are frauds. They rip the copy from other computer tech websites, INCLUDING their reviews. How hard is it to write a fake review? And if you're looking for website design, HA! Their website page claims design work on templates that are available on FREE template sites. Horrible business people. Completely fake. Use at your own risk. read more
