Therefore, this process is usually super stressful even when everything goes right. I usually have help in choosing a new computer but this time I did it myself and managed to buy a slower computer than the one I had. David who had come to do the onsite migration alerted me to this and so began the return process with Lenovo and he helped me find and order another more current laptop within my price range same day. WOW. This kind of care and service isn't found often. We knew he needed to return when the new laptop arrived, and he wasn't even going to charge me for a lot of the time he was at my home! David is super knowledgeable, confident, a great communicator, low key and gets things done. There aren't that many people with David's tech skills and patience so if you need help I would highly recommend giving him a call. I my view he's a lifesaver but he's so humble I know he would say I'm going too far but no. I'm not. He's a lifesaver.

I would have been able to work 2 to 3 hours max (on the laptop battery life) for the entire weekend. I did a search and found Charles just up 108 in Long Barn. I called Charles and, while he does have some used laptop chargers for sale, he didn't have one that worked for mine. But he did walk me through what would work for my laptop which allowed me to pick up a charger at a store in Sonora. I had damaged the display on my MacBook Pro so badly that I was not able to use it. I was able to drop off my computer to him on Sunday, the same day I called. Bob ordered and installed a new retina display and got it working great. Since my laptop was over 3 years old, I decided to have him put in a new battery as well. He did a flawless job. I can usually walk myself through this type of craziness but I could not get it back online. I called this company to see if he could look at it and price what it would cost to get this problem solved. I need a computer for my business and I was dead in the water. This company was amazing, not only was I working with a old operating system windows 7, I have security on it and he found some malware and spyware and a Trojan. I pay yearly to have a secure system and it still got through my firewall because my system was not being supported by Microsoft any longer. This guy was great, he put a new hard drive, new operating system. Took out all the garbage that accumulated in it, and I had it back the next day. He's awesome, very fast and explains everything before hand. If you need computer work, or diagnoses, or upgrade he's the guy. He's not very far and does it from his home. He also can check yours remotely if needed.
