We went to all major retailers and a couple of used computer shops but had no luck. Roger at Edgar's was able to locate a used charger that worked for us. It was a little pricey ($55) for a 9 year old used charger but we were glad he had it and paid the price. The perk was playing with his massive cat that seemed to weigh 25 lbs.

When we declined the extended warranty she walked away and had a coworker finish a transaction. Is BB making money off extended warranties and consequently they pay their staff on how many they sell?
