I really have grown to "love" (appreciate) Dr. Yanamadala the more time I've been his patient. I…read moreused to think his approach was rather abrupt and somewhat off-putting, but I've since gotten to know him and appreciate his directness. I have also done the TMS therapy at Lakeside to help treat my depression, and I feel like it helped. I still take a low-dose, mild anti-depressant. However, shortly after I completed the therapy, I went through really really trying times caring for my father until he passed, and I likely may not have been able to handle the stress and cope with loss time as well, had I not gone through the TMS therapy. So, I recommend it, especially if you have really struggled with depression. Also, I might add that no one at Lakeside pushed this in any way- no email or mailer ads. A few months after I had spent time doing Intensive Out Patient group therapy (after a few days in the hospital), Dr.Y merely asked if I had tried before and if I was familiar with it and suggested I do my own research to decide if I would like to try it. The team looked into my insurance and assured me that it was 100% covered. Overall, Lakeside Behavioral Health has been an excellent mental healthcare clinic provider for me, and I would recommend them to anyone asking. Plus, a major bonus is that Dr. Y does telemedicine, so I don't have to come in for my appointments.

Conner who works for the Lakeside Office is a horrible person to try to speak to. He speaks to…read moremental patients very rudely. He has no compassion or concerns. He is a very bad representation for a Mental HELP facility. Conner should not be allowed to work with the patients. Not only did he harass me over the phone until I showed up at the office on Union. He locked the door when I arrived and told me that the doctor would no longer see me, due to Conner's behavior? I have looked at a lot of Lakesides reviews. It does seem like the office staff & Conner are a big problem for some patients there. I recommend everyone read the bad reviews first! It seems Conner has done & said some horrible things to the former patients at Lakeside Behavior Health.
