Enjoyed my experience here! It is so cute inside with all the lovely decorations. I was recommended the torta de jamon. Was so delicious and the serving size is huge! Which is great so if wanted to save the other half of the sandwich for later you can. Great presentation with the plating too. The wood board is creative. The banana matcha was a little too watered down for me but still decent. Would have liked more of the matcha taste. Parking is a hit or miss because this location is downtown. Overall, great cafe and the staff are nice and helpful as well if you have any questions of what to order. Will definitely be coming back to try more of their menu! read more

Wow. I was in Omaha for a work trip, and I really wanted an iced latte. I prefer to try different places vs a chain like Starbucks... luckily, I googled and found this place! If you go to the website everything is in Spanish... I do not speak Spanish, and you do t need to. The decor is bright and inviting. They had a lot of different drinks and food offerings. I asked the woman behind the counter what the most popular ice coffee drink was, and she said horchata latte. Omg! I loved it. I plan on coming back the next 3 days of my trip to get it again. Con Azucar Cafe is an amazing coffee shop in downtown Omaha right in Old Market. They've got everything if you want a quick coffee and a snack or a nice meal with good music. It was a nice day out so we ordered an oat milk cinnamon shaken espresso and a Pepino con Limon. The espresso was incredible, easily the best one I've had in Omaha and the Pepino con Limon was a much needed refreshing drink for an unexpectedly warm day. I saw a TikTok about Con Azucar regarding their latte art and immediately dragged my best friend along to get printed coffee art. I hope to go again, because we had a great experience! The location is very central, being in the Old Market, and once inside, the decor is adorable! There are multiple photo ops for a cute selfie or pic holding your coffee! We both ended up getting latte art, and I opted for a Peso Pluma pic, which I was able to send over and get on my Horchata Latte, which was amazing. It was actually hard to choose from the menu since everything sounded amazing, and they had so many Mexican-inspired drinks to choose from. My bestie got the Mazapan Latte, which was yummy as well. We both got pan dulces, and had a nice study sesh here. The service was great, and the baristas were very friendly and kind. I will definitely be visiting again. read more

We had a really awesome experience here! We were offered a free sample of coffee right when we walked in, they explained the menu to us and answered any questions right away. It was super helpful because the menu seemed pretty traditional and I wasn't familiar with some of the menu items. I ordered the horchata latte and it was really delicious! I also got a chocolate layered cake in a little cup, it was good and super moist, my only only critique was once you got to the bottom, there was almost too much liquid which I didn't love. My wife picked me up a coffee, to-go, the other day when she went with a friend. It was still nice and hot, even by the time she got home! I had one of their chocolate abuelitas and it was very good! I don't typically like chocolate drinks because they're very sweet, but this was perfectly done! Just sweet enough to taste, but not over powering. We stopped in for a quick coffee and ended up staying for breakfast. The space is bright and vibrant, and Nelly was incredibly kind and welcoming! We started with a hot Mexican mocha and an iced horchata latte. Omg! They were both 10/10! I'm going to be dreaming of that horchata latte for years! Just looking for an afternoon coffee. Most important place of any coffee although a little on the many places similar to this are. Coffee was pretty great sampled a large cappuccino. The staff is very friendly, speaking Spanish or English making one feel very welcome and at home. Great addition to old market, first time there. Ambience is beautiful, the staff is gracious, courteous and efficient. Tried iced Mazapan latte, iced Horchata latte and definitely worth a try. Ordered BLT, which was delicious, three cheese grilled cheese wasn't as crispy as I would prefer but tasted good. What a fun cafe! Immediately walking in, we knew this place would be good. The vibes are vibing!! There's a cute photo opp with the swing when you first walk in, and lots of cute decor and design everywhere else. The coffee is good, we tried a cappuccino, matcha, cafe de olla, and got my husband a horchata latte to go, which he said was great! There's a full cafe that had some great options, but we just went with conchas today. The selfie-ccino is a MUST DO! You can choose a photo from their stock or upload a photo from your phone. We used the photos we took on the swing, which was so cute!! I loved the little bicycles for the concha. They have a cafe gigante (giant coffee) and a giant concha, which feeds about 5-6 so that would be a fun group activity. They have incredible pup cups for 1.75, an 8 oz cup of whipped cream AND they can do a selfie-ccino on the top of the pup cup! They also turned out super cute and the dogs loved them! read more

The chilaquiles actually comes with a lot of food. I was not expecting a big portion. You have the option to add chicken or steak but they all come with chorizo so I chose not to add another protein. This was my second time going to Con Azucar and I will not be returning. When I first arrived, the person taking orders ignored me and kept his back to me when he and I made eye contact and he knew I was waiting to order. His co-worker had to call him over to get him to take my order. When I did order, I ordered the banana matcha thinking that it would be a matcha latte with a banana syrup added into it. There were only 5 people, including my group of 3 in the establishment at the time. It had been a quick 5 seconds after I had ordered that I realized I forgot to notify the person taking my order that I have a dairy allergy and requested my drink to be made with almond milk instead of the standard dairy milk. I offered to pay for the upcharge of not using dairy milk as I wasn't initially charged for it. Instead of being met with understanding, the person taking my order refused to re-make my drink. He stated that he had just finished making my drink when it had not been started on. We had a pretty long exchange as he was rushing to finish my drink then refused to re-make it with almond milk. Again, I requested that he make me another drink with almond milk and at this point, offered to pay for a second drink and not just the upcharge. He sighed heavily at me and refused to re-make the drink dairy free as I had requested and I had offered to pay for another beverage. My sister-in-law got involved at this point because he refused to make me another drink even after I said I would pay for another drink. After 10 minutes of going back and forth he finally said he would talk to his manager because I requested a refund if I was paying for another drink when I couldn't consume the first one due to my allergy. When he came back he said he would re-make my drink with almond milk. After he re-made it he told me they could not include the cold foam topping that had the banana flavoring. He then proceeded to lecture me about cold foam having dairy, which I was aware of but did not know this beverage came with cold foam either. Had I known that I would have requested a dairy free cold foam if it was available or no cold foam at all. I wish my allergy wasn't made to seem like an inconvenience to the person making my drink. Finally when I received my drink, which was just a standard matcha latte it was terrible. It was chalky, watery, and bitter. Overall, my experience was humiliating and disappointing. read more
