Oat milk shaken espresso with cinnamon
    Danny L.

Con Azucar Cafe is an amazing coffee shop in downtown Omaha right in Old Market. They've got everything if you want a quick coffee and a snack or a nice meal with good music. It was a nice day out so we ordered an oat milk cinnamon shaken espresso and a Pepino con Limon. The espresso was incredible, easily the best one I've had in Omaha and the Pepino con Limon was a much needed refreshing drink for an unexpectedly warm day. The staff is always friendly and got our order out quick! I cannot recommend Con Azucar Cafe enough for anyone in the area!

    Horchata latte - amazing!

Wow. I was in Omaha for a work trip, and I really wanted an iced latte. I prefer to try different places vs a chain like Starbucks... luckily, I googled and found this place! If you go to the website everything is in Spanish... I do not speak Spanish, and you do t need to. The decor is bright and inviting. They had a lot of different drinks and food offerings. I asked the woman behind the counter what the most popular ice coffee drink was, and she said horchata latte. Omg! I loved it. I plan on coming back the next 3 days of my trip to get it again. The rim of the cup was lined with sugar and cinnamon too! Delicious!

I saw a TikTok about Con Azucar regarding their latte art and immediately dragged my best friend along to get printed coffee art. I hope to go again, because we had a great experience! The location is very central, being in the Old Market, and once inside, the decor is adorable! There are multiple photo ops for a cute selfie or pic holding your coffee! We both ended up getting latte art, and I opted for a Peso Pluma pic, which I was able to send over and get on my Horchata Latte, which was amazing. It was actually hard to choose from the menu since everything sounded amazing, and they had so many Mexican-inspired drinks to choose from. My bestie got the Mazapan Latte, which was yummy as well. We both got pan dulces, and had a nice study sesh here. The service was great, and the baristas were very friendly and kind. I will definitely be visiting again.

We had a really awesome experience here! We were offered a free sample of coffee right when we walked in, they explained the menu to us and answered any questions right away. It was super helpful because the menu seemed pretty traditional and I wasn't familiar with some of the menu items. I ordered the horchata latte and it was really delicious! I also got a chocolate layered cake in a little cup, it was good and super moist, my only only critique was once you got to the bottom, there was almost too much liquid which I didn't love. The vibe inside the shop was also really cute. Super colorful and bright and welcoming!!

Hot Mexican mocha and iced horchata latte

We stopped in for a quick coffee and ended up staying for breakfast. The space is bright and vibrant, and Nelly was incredibly kind and welcoming! We started with a hot Mexican mocha and an iced horchata latte. Omg! They were both 10/10! I'm going to be dreaming of that horchata latte for years! We also ordered the chilaquiles verde with carne asada and it was probably the best breakfast I've ever had! I have zero complaints about this cafe and cannot wait to go back to Omaha to try it again.

The vibes are absolutely everything here. So many cute photo ops. Really enjoyed all of the Mexican inspired drinks here plus pastry options. Can't wait to come back! Great spot to hang out downtown too

Great addition to old market, first time there. Ambience is beautiful, the staff is gracious, courteous and efficient. Tried iced Mazapan latte, iced Horchata latte and definitely worth a try. Ordered BLT, which was delicious, three cheese grilled cheese wasn't as crispy as I would prefer but tasted good. Overall, definitely will come back, especially now when all the local businesses are being affected by the downtown construction.

Just looking for an afternoon coffee. Most important place of any coffee although a little on the many places similar to this are. Coffee was pretty great sampled a large cappuccino. The staff is very friendly, speaking Spanish or English making one feel very welcome and at home. Mexican decor and music playing constantly felt like having a relaxing coffee in a taco shop, but it worked. Was bright and lovely. Definitely coming back.

SO GOOD! My boyfriend and I were passing through Omaha on our way to Chicago from Arizona and absolutely loved this place. The coffee and matcha were both good but the food was spectacular. Our food came out quickly and was so fresh. The space itself is clean and the staff were helpful, couldn't recommend this place more!

What a great coffee spot in the Old Market! VERY large portions on the breakfast burritos and great Mexican pastries.

What a fun cafe! Immediately walking in, we knew this place would be good. The vibes are vibing!! There's a cute photo opp with the swing when you first walk in, and lots of cute decor and design everywhere else. The coffee is good, we tried a cappuccino, matcha, cafe de olla, and got my husband a horchata latte to go, which he said was great! There's a full cafe that had some great options, but we just went with conchas today. The selfie-ccino is a MUST DO! You can choose a photo from their stock or upload a photo from your phone. We used the photos we took on the swing, which was so cute!! I loved the little bicycles for the concha. They have a cafe gigante (giant coffee) and a giant concha, which feeds about 5-6 so that would be a fun group activity. They have incredible pup cups for 1.75, an 8 oz cup of whipped cream AND they can do a selfie-ccino on the top of the pup cup! They also turned out super cute and the dogs loved them!

Great service and the cutest themed coffee shop that I've seen in Omaha! Very welcoming and comfortable.

I honestly found this place on tik tok and thought it was such a cute spot to check out. And honestly it truly was. We decided to give it a shot and ordered cappuccinos and no joke we waited for the coffee and did not expect bad bunny to be on my drink and I loved ittttt ! The swing sienta el pedorrro was adorable and hilarious. Loved it

My only small complaint is that the sandwich breads we've tried are a little plain / underwhelming, but I just stick to the salads. Plenty of parking as well, so an all-around gem!

In the earlier days, it seemed like some of the menu items were too salty or whatever. But once they got established I have been happy with the experience every time. This is a restaurant attached to a science museum (but it can be entered separately). I go to a lot of museums and this food is miles better than most food you can get at most museums. I like that they offer items from local businesses such as Lola (for baked goods), Grove (juices) and Fermented Felon kombucha. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Windows are huge with a great view of the river. They serve a good iced tea, which can be not so good at other places. Also a nice hot drink selection. I like to go for a walk across the river, then come here and relax with a brownie or a slice of sweet potato cake. There is an entry fee to the museum if you want to go...or you can just meander over to the gift shop for free. It's a really good gift shop, if you are a nerd like me.

We wanted our food to-go, and the staff didn't even blink. Everything came neatly packed with utensils, making it super easy to grab and go. Honestly, whether you dine in or take it out, it's all served the same way--do with that what you will. We kicked things off with the chips and queso. The white queso had green chiles and just the right amount of heat, with a side of salsa that made it even better. Were the chips basically Tostitos? Yes. Did I care? Not one bit--they were still delicious. For $7, the portion was generous and perfect for sharing (or not). My husband ordered the Prairie Flower Burger and fries ($15), a double patty blend of ground beef and brisket topped with caramelized onions and your choice of cheese. He polished it off without a single complaint. It was hot, fresh, and exactly what you want in a burger. And the fries? Crispy, golden, and plentiful. I went with the club sandwich and house chips, and wow--that triple-decker meant business. For $12, the value was fantastic. My only tiny complaint? I wish they'd used full lettuce leaves instead of chopped--it got a little messy. But those house chips? Fresh, crispy, and borderline addictive. I'm officially hooked. Bonus points: you get a front-row seat to the casino floor while you wait. It's like dinner with built-in entertainment. Plus, the staff were all friendly and upbeat, which made the whole experience even better. The best part? We live just five minutes away, so everything was still piping hot by the time we got home. Their All Day Menu runs until 11 PM on weekdays and goes all the way until 2 AM on Fridays and Saturdays--perfect for night owls or anyone needing a late-night bite after hitting the slots. If you are a veteran, don't forget to tell them--you will get an extra 10% discount! I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu--and I've already got my eye on breakfast next time.

The menu says you can order 1/4 or 1/2 an order of hash browns, but I don't think she did that because there were a lot of potatoes.
