Great experience, can't wait to go back and try more. I went on a Thursday morning around 8:30am. There was a good size crowd there! I choose to sit at the bar. I had the shrimp omelette. It was delicious! Also had the strawberry rhubarb jam on the biscuit, very good as well! Service was good!

Went here for my first time today & it was amazing! My mimosa had the perfect ratio of champagne & orange juice. We ordered a pancake to share for the table & it was the best pancake ever, It was so fluffy and warm! The breakfast sandwich I ordered was delicious as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was cute inside, just felt a little chaotic because it's on the smaller side & all the tables are close to one another but still a vibe with all the color.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will definitely be back here!

Busy place! Popped in on a Saturday around 10:30-11 and hopped on the waitlist for 2, was told about 15 minutes, but only about 5 minutes later was texted there was bar seating open, so we snuck right in! Service was great, food menu looked amazing! I got the chorizo burrito no jalapeños inside, and my friend got the lemon pancake and holy crap, that was the biggest pancake I've ever seen in my life! The burrito was great, loved the green salsa it came with, not too spicy, I didn't try the red, it was decently oily and my hands were gross, need multiple napkins! The lemon curd for the pancake was delicious, didn't care for the blueberry jam. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was super cute inside, our food came out quick, correct, and hot![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Couldn't have asked for a better meal!

Overall great place for brunch in Omaha! We went here on a Saturday around noon and we had a 15 min wait for table of 3, much less wait time than we were told initially. We sat at the bar, and the service was relatively good despite them being very busy. I ordered the banana bread French toast and this was my favorite item!! Best French toast I've had in a long time. The outside part was crispy and the middle was perfectly soft. I was surprised that this was vegan. I loved the coconut cream topping as well. The cali club was a breakfast sandwich with fried egg, avocado, bacon, and chipotle cream cheese. This was good overall but I felt like the croissant was over toasted and felt a bit too dry/flaky. I would have preferred a more softer/buttery texture. I also would have preferred more of the chipotle cream cheese on it. Hash brown was nice and crispy.

Okay, this may have been the best breakfast place I've been to ever? & that's coming from someone who isn't big on breakfast food. The Cali Club was amazing! We also got the French Toast since it was suggested to me and WOW. Definitely the best french toast I've ever had. It was so flavorful and had some crunch. The interior is also very cute and a whole vibe on its own. Kind of an old fashioned diner feel to it. They seemed very busy when we visited on a Saturday morning, yet we only had a 5 min wait to be seated and service was great. My only critique is that the seating is packed VERY tight. Depending where you get sat, you may just have to deal with awkward seating. I will be back!

Always a slam dunk at SCBC! I'm so glad that they were able to find a location to better accommodate their growing group of patrons! Staff is extremely friendly and always has great suggestions. I went with my mom and toddler for a brunch and it was great for us! It's hard to exactly narrow down what my favorite is on their menu because it's all amazing! Definitely a must-stop in Omaha.

In Omaha for a visit and daughter lives around the corner so we stopped in before a day shopping. Started out with espresso martinis so that was a great beginning. All of our plates were delicious and served hot. There was a bit of a wait but for a small place they have their stuff together. Would definitely recommend for brunch and cocktails. Will be back when we come back to visit.

Saddle Creek Breakfast Club is a staple brunch spot in Omaha! I have only been a couple of times but it's always been packed and the food was killer. This most recent time I tried the short rib eggs benedict and I think the meal changed my life. Absolutely amazing dish. I highly recommend trying this! I got a basic eggs, toast, sausage, potato dish as I was craving just a classic breakfast and it was perfect! I got a side of fruit and it probably was the best assortment of fruit - blueberries, kiwi, strawberries, banana, and raspberries! so good. the atmosphere is a little cramped but it's cute, fun, and bright! The service was also really attentive and friendly. Do consider you may have a wait especially if you are with a group bigger than 2-3. But you can usually check out some of the surrounding stores or bars.

First time visiting SCBC and loved it! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The 'Good Morning Hunny Bunny' and all the decor is so cute and fun![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had great service and a wonderful waitress who took great care of us. I had the Cajun Standard which is Andouille Sausage, eggs, cheddar grits, and sliced baguette. Definitely recommend over easy eggs with it! :) I also had the Club Coffee and it was delicious! If you're a bourbon and coffee fan, it's right up your alley. Perfect size menu and lots of drink options! I will definitely be back and looking forward to the next experience.

This place is worth ALL the hype. Every time I visit it's so difficult to make a choice as to what to order. The cali club is always a solid choice, but the blueberry lemon pancakes will blow you out of this world. I decided to go with the French toast to try something different and this was AMAZING!! The French toast was deep fried and topped with powdered sugar and berries. The light crunch on the outside was so nice with the berry compote at the bottom of the plate. I truly can't say enough good about this place! I get antsy just thinking about the food, thinking about what my next order will be!

UNBELIEVEABLE!!! Absolutely delicious. It isn't a huge place. It is cozy. We were greeted and seated quickly, the water arrived right away and our drink order was taken. This all happened in about 45 seconds. Our drink order consisted of The "Bunny Mary" and the "Club Coffee". The Bunny was different, different in a good way. The Carrot juice really grabs your taste buds and the booze was just right to me. It is my new favorite Mary anywhere. The Club Coffee looks as good as it tastes. The bourbon was well balanced in such a sweet offering. We ordered the Bene Flight and "The Standard" + a side of pork belly aka bacon. The benedict flight included Schnitzel, Canadian bacon and a crabcake too. The Schnitzel was crispy and very tender, the cherry tart jam really surprised me. The Canadian bacon had the classic taste and the Crabcake blew me away (lots of crab). All three were topped with an almost perfectly poached egg. The Standard came with the over medium eggs done just right, the sausage links were good and the bacon/pork belly just made that plate complete. The English muffin had the crunchy edges, and tender middle. Our amazing server brought a small dish with a lemon curd and I ate that as an almost dessert. I highly recommend SCBC and look forward to eating here again and again.

New spot | lemon pancakes | noise New spot - This was our first time visiting the new South Greek Breakfast Company location after having dined at the previous spot about a year and a half ago. The updated location is a definite improvement--there's much more parking, and the layout feels more open and connected overall. A solid upgrade. Lemon pancakes - The lemon pancakes are massive. The photos don't do them justice--what looks like a single pancake could easily be three at a typical restaurant. The toppings were relatively fresh, but the dish is very sweet. It's a sugar-heavy meal that your 10-12-year-old self would love, but if you're watching your sugar or carb intake, this may not be the best pick. Noise - This place is loud, but that's part of the experience. There's a bar area, lots of tables packed into a relatively small space, and a steady crowd. Be ready to raise your voice to talk at your table. That said, it's great for families--there were lots of small kids and no one seemed out of place making noise. It's a casual, family-friendly environment where energy is expected. Pro tip: There's tons of parking--no need to budget extra time for finding a spot.

Okay, brunch! I convinced my husband to go to SCBC for brunch tomorrow on a recent weekend morning. We arrived around 10:30 and were told there was probably a 25 minute wait for first available (table or bar/counter). This was much better than we were expecting and it was definitely worth it. We were seated at the counter by the front windows and while I wish the stools had a back for it to be a bit more comfortable, it was still very nice! I got a White Rabbit cocktail to drink and it was like a brunch espresso martini! It was sweet with a hint of coffee bitterness - very tasty! For the meal, I got the breakfast burrito with chorizo replaced with potatoes/hash and then my husband and I got the banana pancake to share. It was ALL SO GOOD! The burrito was so big and delicious! It was perfectly seasoned and super filling it as well. I put hot sauce on EVERYTHING and while they have a tasty array of hot sauces, I actually preferred the burrito with the salsa verde it was served with it. There was also a red salsa that was good, but a bit smoky for me. The pancake was giant and super fluffy! The peanut butter whip and peanuts were exceptional choices to accompany it. Overall a fantastic time and excited for the next time already!

My husband is a much harsher critic than I am, and he gave it a "rare 5.5 out of 5." The pancakes were some of the fluffiest I've ever had. They also have a great selection of coffee flavors to choose from, which was a fun bonus. The coffee paired perfectly with breakfast, though I probably wouldn't come here just for the coffee alone. The flavor was good but it did have a slight burnt taste. A quick note: you order at the counter before sitting down. It's a mix of self-serve and sit-down service. You order at the counter, grab your own silverware, and seat yourself, but they bring your food and drinks out to you (other than water). I do wish they were a bit more attentive about clearing finished plates during the meal. The restaurant was so busy that the line was out the door when we arrived, but it moved surprisingly fast. I was worried we wouldn't find a table, yet there were plenty of open seats available. The atmosphere is also really nice and cozy, making it a great spot to start your day.

Ok the other hand, the service is rather iffy & unpredictable. The chicken & waffles is my go-to for each visit, and they have many types of delicious sides to choose from, with my favorites being the biscuits & berries, goat cheese grits, and also the fried green tomatoes. I have zero problems with the food that they serve here, they always do an excellent job at preparing whatever they need to prepare & the portions are always satisfactory. As for the service, there are days where you will receive perfect service while on others the service is not so great. Some days you will be attended to in a timely manner, while there is other days where there isn't anyone available or willing to seat you somewhere. I've also experienced instances where they didn't attend to our table to take orders until I made a complaint. Most of these instances were during days where the place was virtually empty so it's not because of the place being busy. I've also ordered take out from here before, again some instances are perfect and there's other instances where they don't tell you if a certain food is out of stock via text or call so if you ordered something that isn't in stock, you're forced to wait for them to prepare something else once you arrive to pick up your order. They also don't always include syrup or butter in the takeout bags for chicken & waffles. One minor thing I'm also disappointed about is how the portion of grits has lessened over time, going from being served in a bowl to instead being served in a small cup/mug. Overall, I certainly don't return for the service because you never really know if it's going to be a good day or a bad day for that. It's always the food that brings me back. I do want to like this place, and I do to an extent but again the service is always unpredictable. I'd still say the food is worth coming here to see how it goes.

They were fairly busy, and honestly our food took a bit to come out, but I am still giving a five due to the overall experience and quality of service. Our server Melannie was fantastic and always present. We did the bottomless mimosa deal (3 out of 4 of us) and she was always coming around asking us what flavor we wanted next when our current was still half full to make sure we got our moneys worth. The champagne might not be the fanciest, but for $20 bottomless mimosas I'll take it. They have fun flavors in addition to the basic ones like strawberry, mango, etc. which adds an element of fun. For food--there were several things I was eyeballing but landed on the spicy chorizo Benny. It was really good, eggs cooked perfect, and came with hashbrowns. Another at our table got the poutine which also looked yummy. I'd say the food portion could have included a bread/toast option, however If brunching in Omaha i'd return to try several things on the menu. The vibe inside is chill, would be more fun sitting outside once the weather warms up. Since I was the one that booked the reservation, the tab got a bit confusing. At first they were taking it off my total, then the server said that hold would come off so I paid for my meal/drinks there. I did end up getting double charged (for both the reservation hold and my meal) which was cleared up with a quick phone call to their establishment---apparently it is a new process they are trying. I do understand though why they wouldn't want to just deduct the hold as then people that don't know how to tip wouldn't tip on the total, which hurts the server. All was cleared up regarding this mishap though so no complaints.

Little 5 ft me... was the only one that came to help while everyone else sat around and minded their own business... it took a long while until one of the staff noticed to help and then the owner came out and awkwardly said a one word-sorry and dipped... didnt come back to offer any hospitality, non-genuine and non-apologetic... it made me lose my appetite. They had the audacity to still charge the family their meal... but I had to tell these really nice folks to make sure they get comped back. It was sickening to me on how careless they were treated. I would never come back! I mean an exaggerating long wait, cold soggy food and careless hospitality from the owner himself. That's three major strikes. P.s. That same wknd.. the news showed up about a South Carolina woman that was struck by a patio umbrella and died on site... that says alot about lacking safety. Yes, search it up. It's real news.. Hope this help improves the business alertness. P.p.s. And although I was disappointed at this dining-bar overall... I still tipped my server a good $20 as the situation was out of their control, my server was still attentive towards me. They all just need social common courtesy in empathy and hospitality. But anyways, my lunch ended with bittersweetness with the family that got struck, they comped my whole meal for genuinely being the only one that was concerned for them. The only service I'm grateful for was that.

My wife order the Early Bird; scrambled eggs, turkey links, wheat toast and country potatoes. With a side pancake as well. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandy with tots. We completed that with the Vanilla Lattni and the Biscoffee. Everything that we ordered was AMAZINGLY made to order. The pancake was a very decent size, warm and fluffy. The chicken sandy was crafted and cooked to perfection. Coated perfectly with the crisp, and juicy. The brioche bun compliments the patty very well. The food was very comforting. Emily was our server and she was awesome. Very knowledgeable and informative about the menu. Cindy was the bartender and did an awesome job as well with the drinks and customer service. Overall the place was 1000/10! Very great establishment, and as long as we're in Nebraska we will dine in.

I love coming to Early Bird, but this was my first time visiting this location…read more We were seated promptly after joining the waitlist. The restaurant has two separate dining rooms, as well as outdoor seating. I ordered my go-to dish, the Smoked Salmon Benedict. It was delicious and came with a side of hash browns. One of these days, I'll have to branch out and try something different from the menu. They also offer seasonal specialty drinks and menu items, which looked great. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, and the overall experience was good. We'll definitely be back!
