My husband walked out on his own when he became frustrated while the nurse was trying to scan his wrist band and bottle of meds that were to be given every hour. nurse told my husband she would be back every hour to do this. it never happened so she was trying to scan the medicine and his wrist band for all those hours that he did it himself. totally unacceptabl. worst hospital we have ever been to. Unless you absolutely can't make it anywhere else avoid this hospital. Not one person was kind or caring. Following the submission of my referral, I received a text message a week later stating that my records were under review and that I would receive a follow-up call to schedule an appointment. That call never came. When I followed up myself, I was informed that scheduling could not proceed without the complete records from a sleep study conducted over two decades ago. This requirement is not only unreasonable but also profoundly out of touch with the realities of long-term medical care. In the 20+ years since I received my CPAP, not a single provider--whether physician, home health company, or insurance--has required those records, or EVEN asked to check the machine. Expecting a patient to retrieve documentation from a defunct sleep center or from physicians whose practices have changed hands and locations multiple times, especially from an era when electronic medical records were barely in use, reflects a disturbing lack of flexibility and common sense. This experience demonstrated a clear failure in communication, accountability, and patient-centered care. I would strongly advise others to seek alternatives.

Thus my daughter went without her meds for a month. Finally I called and found out she needed a yealry appt. how hard is it to call your patient ? So when my daughter went, even though we have ins and most providers bill what ins does not pay, Bev would not see her without $60 upfront. I get it if she were not an established patient as well as our entire family with Deere insurance, But we have been with her since the beginning. After not calling her that she needed to be seen and turning her away over a copay that we have always been good for, Bev decided to place money over care. She has always gotten paid. I explained I had an HSA card coming to me and wanted to pay out of that, but would not treat my daughter without her co pay. Again. We were established patients. I am deeply disappointed. Don't go here. Find a physician that won't turn a kid away over a few bucks when the family has always paid the provider.

Tonight I witnessed first hand how an ER can be run so piss poorly, that I would choose to drive 30 miles to a podunk hospital than ho to Trinity Rock Island as a walk in patient. A 40 year old male presenting with left side abdominal pains just below the ribcage, low grade fever, dizziness, nausea, fatigue, panic attacks, loss of appetite, vomiting blood, chest tightness, b/p of 158/98 at 180 lbs pulse of 100bpm, and fainting spells sits for 30 minutes when there are only 4 others waiting and an empty parking lot showing that there is no way that in an ER with atleast 20 bed could be full. The receptionist, who is lucky I missed her name tag or I'd call and raise hell tomorrow with their HR, was rude as hell. When taken in for triage to find out the chief complaints of the patient (I went in as a witness), patient was handed a specimen cup and told that if he was able to fill it once he was sent BACK to the waiting room, that would help speed up his waiting time, he filled it after another 10 minutes in the waiting room and passed it to the desk woman. After another 45 minutes he was called back for blood draws. Sent back out to wait again, and an hour later he decided to go to a smaller hospital half an hour away the following day, and just be in pain that night. He was wrong for leaving, but when you feel like absolute crap, you're in pain, haven't been able to eat, or sleep well, for 2-3 months, explain it to someone and get nothing in return, your anger can take over and you do counterproductive things. I'd rather be beaten half to death with a bag full of rocks than have to walk into that ER. Ambulance rides rule there.

After nearly 2 years of calling for an appointment…read morewhen sick or to renew a prescription, I have either been told to go to an urgent care clinic because Dr. Motto is out of the office, on vacation, or that they will have the RX renewed, no problem. This time, I am out of my medication, I sent in for a renewal days ago and was denied until I could make an appointment with the doctor. I called to set one up and was basically told I am SOL since I work through all of their business hours except 1 day and the doc isn't in the office that day. I cannot afford to drag my children and the children I watch into the doctor's office not knowing how long it will take to be seen and risk all 4 of them getting sick and disturbing other patients in the waiting area. In the past, I have shown up for 2 appointments for myself and had to leave after waiting a ridiculous amount of time without being seen. Once, I waited 2 hours before I had to leave to take my 4 month old baby to an appointment because we were both sick. The other time I took a half day off work and would have been considered unexcused had I shown up late and had to leave without being seen. I feel that the physicians at the urgent care clinic are my primary care providers since I have not been seen by Dr. Motto in nearly 2 years. I have called the office and expressed my dissatisfaction with these issues and was met with rude, short excuses and absolutely no solutions to the problems I am experiencing.
