Don't bother getting your point across , he acts as if he knows it all.

Dr Alexander Francini is unprofessional. I am disappointed with the lack of care and consideration I received from this doctor. After returning to work following a work-related injury, I experienced significant pain, which I communicated to him. However, he refused to provide a note for additional time off to fully recover. Despite explaining the discomfort and how it was affecting my ability to perform tasks, my concerns were dismissed. When I sought a second opinion, he seemed insulted rather than understanding of my need to explore all options for proper healing. Unfortunately, this has left me feeling unsupported in my recovery process. When I told him my hand is in a lot of pain his way to response was to raise his voice and say it's part of the process.. Very unprofessional. They expected me to go to work 8 hours with an injured hand and still therapy. Do Not recommend this place at all.

Cut with glue that I applied. It didn't work

If I could give negative stars I would. Everything was fine with check-in and the front desk. I had a deep cut to my finger the night before and still hadn't stopped bleeding. So here I am waiting for the Dr. I explained I work as a nurse and need stitches (I used to be the lead nurse in an urgent care) because 1. I have Ehlers Danlos which causes me to bleed easy and I'm a slow healer. 2. The cut is right near my knuckle, so opens when I bend my finger and it needs to stay clean. I am clumsy and have needed stitches two other times. Those doctors knew that cuts near/on a knuckle need stitches... She said I did not need stitches. She would glue it. So she said I'll have someone come in and clean it first. So in comes the CNA. She walked over with her supplies and looked at my finger then said why am I cleaning this? It looks clean. I said the doctor ordered it. She continued to stand there staring at me and she again said it looks clean. So I asked her if it was a problem to wash my finger off so it doesn't get infected once the globs of glue are applied. I said I've never experienced having a Dr give an order and the aid come in and question it. She started fumbling with her words. So she starts to prepare and she pulls out peroxide and begins adding it to a kidney basin. I told her you are not supposed to wash a cut with peroxide. It can cause further damage to tissue. There was a little back and forth then she soaked my finger in sterile water and left. Once the doctor came in (she must have spoken to the aid outside the room) she tried cleaning my cut with ALCOHOL. I yanked my finger back. I told her she should not wash a cut with alcohol. She said it's just a little bit. I told her I don't care, I am a slow healer due to Ehlers and don't need anything making it heal any slower. I told her for an open wound she needs to use betadine. She agreed and used that. My God where were these people trained? Dr comes back in, put 3 layers of glue on my finger which burned like hell- she didn't hold my skin together when she applied it. After that she sent the aid back in to wrap it and put it in a splint which was so big and ridiculous. No way I could wash my hands. Or shower etc. By that evening all the outer gauze and coflex were wet and dirty and slid right off. I was left with a pile of glue and steri strips that were just set on top. Within days of normal use everything had come off and I'm left with a cut that is partially open, inflamed and hurts. If only this doctor could set her ego aside and listen to me. I know me better than anyone. And again, have had this happen to me before. The worst urgent care!! Don't go!

Slow af. It's the DMV of healthcare. I shouldn't have to wait 2 hours for a drug screen.

Please avoid this location, though. My first visit years ago was unremarkable, but a recent visit in early August was a nightmare. First, the nurse checking me in insisted I could only be seen for one symptom, and her manner brought me to tears. I was experiencing about seven symptoms over 10 days. She was extremely rude, and then noted that my heart rate was high -- yes, because she was stressing me out with her unprofessional attitude. I've never encountered an urgent care that insists on treating only one symptom. I asked her to listen to all seven and then decide which was most urgent to document. It later turned out I was having an allergic reaction to an antibiotic -- I had noted a rash as one of my symptoms. I saw Dr. Hanser, who described my rash as looking like "sun exposure" but said he suspected an allergic reaction. He had me tested for viruses. He did not land on considering it an allergic reaction nor treat me for that. Later that day, the rash spread across my entire body, and I had to go to a different urgent care the next day to get steroids. The difference in quality of care I received at the Westminster MemorialCare location was like night and day. The nurse listened to my situation and noted that as cause of visit. The doctor showed true concern and empathy. Given how dismissive both the nurse and the doctor were here, in their own ways--please avoid this Bellflower location.

Health care has truly become a scam…read more I brought my 11-year-old son in after he injured his ankle at school. The school nurse suspected a possible sprain or fracture, so I went straight to this urgent care hoping they could quickly assess him and take an X-ray if needed. While the front desk was initially polite and accommodating, they refused to see my son unless I paid $200 upfront toward his deductible. The problem is they had no idea what level of care he would actually need. No exam had been done, no imaging ordered, and no services had been determined. It could have been a simple assessment or something more serious. When I asked them to bill my insurance and send me a bill after the claim was processed, they refused. They insisted payment MUST be made before a provider would even evaluate him. In other words, they were denying care to a child with an acute injury unless I FORCIBLY paid an arbitrary amount upfront for services they themselves could not yet define. I have excellent PPO insurance and have never experienced anything like this. Urgent care facilities bill insurance and reconcile the deductible after the claim is processed. Because of this policy, we had to leave and seek care elsewhere while my son was in pain. I will be filing formal complaints with the following agencies against their unlawful practice: * California Department of Managed Health Care * California Department of Insurance * California Attorney General's Office (Consumer Protection) * California Department of Consumer Affairs Patients should know what to expect before coming here. If you are not prepared to pay an ESTIMATED deductible upfront, you WILL be DENIED CARE before a provider even evaluates you.

Dear Yelp Diary,…read more PART 1: About to hit the two hour mark of sitting in this waiting room. Registration was quick and easy (at least if you're text-savvy), but the efficiency was just a deception. When I came in, there were 6 of us waiting. They line seemed to be going smoothly with about a ten minute wait between people leaving the waiting room, until suddenly it stopped. I've been waiting in the 1 position on "Next" screen for over half an hour. Did they all leave for brunch? I've seen patients walk out, but no names being called. There's a dude with an awful wheezing cough sitting across the room, snoring. An older dude watching super loud Fox News on his phone. A toddler throwing a huge fit because it's taking too long; girl, I don't blame you. This place is a purgatory. I just need antibiotics and a doctor's note, dude. -- PART 2: Okay, but like for real, the nurse that did the intake was super down to earth and Dr. Mike was the sweetest. Was it worth the wait? Not certain. But I did feel that despite the agonizing wait that I was well taken care of.
