The male nurse at the check-in desk made him feel as if he didn't belong there because he didn't "look sick." When my family member got to the back, he was given a breathing treatment and was left in the room over 20 minutes after it completed. He also told the healthcare provider that he hadn't eating in over 10 hours and they still proceeded to give him medication that needed to be taken with food. When he got back home, he was vomiting all over the place. When he got his diagnosis, the male nurse (same person who checked him in) was surprised! He shouldn't have judged a book by it's cover. Just because a person doesn't look well does not mean they don't feel well in their body! Again, he was made to feel as if he just wandered in there off the street. We have wonderful insurance (even if we did not, it shouldn't make a difference b/c healthcare providers should treat each person the same). This family member is a college student in his senior year and needed the help and what does he get? Mistreatment and prejudice! I told him to not visit this place again; at least not on the 3rd shift. The people there obviously didn't want to do their jobs! High reviews? How? I'm very concerned for my family member to get care being so far from home while in college. THIS is why I worry because of people like this! Shame on you, "Total" Care.

Came in to see me in less than 5 minutes and obviously possessed a plethora of medical knowledge. This being a delayed reaction, it isn't an easy case to identify and treat. Very happy I came here.

Moving to Texas was easy, finding good doctors and other professionals hasn't been so easy...until…read morenow. We tried "Wise" doctors and "Texas Health" doctors, but were very disappointed with their lackluster and lack of care. They care more about money than you as a patient! So we thought we'd try Baylor Scott and White because our chiropractor specifically highly recommended Dr Beau Ellenbecker to us. We could not be more pleased with Dr Ellenbecker!!! He is down to earth and very knowledgeable! His breadth of expertise in all areas of medicine are incredible and his bedside manner is calm and reassuring! Their website is so easy to check on results, make appointments and even chat with Dr Ellenbecker. And Dr Ellenbecker, or one of his staff are very quick to reply to any questions or concerns. Most of all, Dr Ellenbecker is so nice and down to earth. He is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to explain all my questions and concerns. His polite and calming bedside manner is such a relief compared to other doctors who are more concerned with the bottom line, rather than their own patients care and concern. If you want a compassionate, caring and knowledgeable doctor...Dr Ellenbecker is the best!

He AlSO said "Maybe if I came in at 2pm they could squeeze me in." what do you mean 'squeeze me in' my appointment was at 2!!! I called back to complain and he said "we are not a walk in clinc we are appointment only and you have to be on time." I said so you're telling me everyone is always exactally on time to an appointment? That is a lie. Don't go here, awful just awful.Rude and mean. I reported it to Baylor Corporate. There were days when therapy was challenging, but the therapists encouraged me every step of the way. At 82 years old, I've been in my share of hospitals over the years, and I can honestly say this was the best hospital experience I've ever had. This place was recommended to me by a trusted source while I was extremely ill, so I went to seek…read morecare. I had numerous symptoms (high fever, enflamed lymph nodes, sore muscles, slight ear muffling, dehydration, etc) and Ryan the PA who saw me did not run any tests, but just looked in my ear, said I had an ear infection, and prescribed me amoxicillin. I didn't have any ear pain and it didn't explain my other symptoms, but I'm not a doctor so I trusted his expert opinion. I began taking my antibiotic same day, but two days passed and I saw zero improvement and my symptoms actually got worse. I decided I needed to return to urgent care since I was clearly misdiagnosed at my first visit. At the second visit, I told Megan the NP (she's great) my symptoms and she looked in my throat and immediately knew it was mono. She ran tests to confirm and I did indeed have mono. She switched my antibiotic -- which turns out I didn't need, but she did not want to stop mid-antibiotic treatment so I wouldn't build resistance -- because she said taking amoxicillin when I have mono could cause a rash. I had already taken amoxicillin for those two days between my two visits, and switched to the new antibiotic. A week later, I developed a full body rash that lasted for 14 days, all due to an antibiotic that I did not need because of a MISDIAGNOSIS at my first visit. I never had an ear infection, did not need amoxicillin, but because of a careless PA and a misdiagnosis, I took the antibiotic i didn't need and had to pay for a useless visit and physically suffer through a full body rash caused by the amoxicillin taken while infected with mono. Now rapid med is taking ZERO accountability, and will not refund me for my first visit because they said the care I received at my first visit was "appropriate". I didn't realize they consider misdiagnoses and prescribing medicine that then causes unnecessary suffering appropriate care, or else I never would have gone here in the first place. They are careless and lack accountability, and just want to get you in and out of the door, regardless of whether they actually treat your illness or not. $450 later after two visits wasted due to a misdiagnosis the first time around.

I had called and no one would pick up, so I had no choice but to drive up there after just getting out of the hospital and in severe pain. I got frustrated and did raise my voice to the receptionist because she hadn't answered the phone after thirty some odd calls in her excuse was she was busy. I then went in circles with the admin team, which was a little bit more helpful.But the insurance company told them exactly what they needed to do.In order to fix my referral, but they seemed to be lost and confused even admitting other patients have had the same problem but yet they wouldn't fix it. Weeks later still going in circles with the doctor's office, not only calling multiple times a day, but leaving messages with no respond back, i receive a letter that they're no longer providing care for me and that I need to look for a new pcp. i came to talk to Dr. Chandi waiting over hour for her to meet me in the waiting room, i asked if she would like to sit and if she had a minute what she said she did but then all of a sudden she needed to run out she had somebody waiting on her and stood there. I just wanted to address that there might be people with serious problems that need help and need answers and that somebody should answer the phone, because when I call multiple times and no one responds is a problem and Im sure orher patients are experiencing the same thing. She responds well you shouldn't be calling that many times because i'm holding up the phone for other patients.I said, well, at least somebody should be answer one of those thirty some odd calls. She states that if serious go to the hospital and i stated thats not the point. Im letting her know wht I was frustrated that day and she said no one should ever raise there voice at a dr's office and i said I apologized for that but thats no excuse to ignore patients and ahe said its her practice and she will run how she sees fit. This is the second time we have been to this ER and had a terrible experience. The first time they…read moredidn't know what to do about a jaw issue, and the doctor came in and told my girlfriend she had herpes, that's why her jaw was locking up. Come to find out, after making an appointment with a dentist, she has TMJ. I'm not sure how the two are even remotely correlated, so we wrote it off. Fast forward two months, we came in for an infection she is having, and they hold her up in the waiting room telling her that she should go to an urgent care, and tried to convince her that her insurance provider will not cover it. The staff informs her it may be a 1-2 hour wait to get the tests results back from the Dallas Lab. After I recognize they're being lazy, and don't want to treat her, I start to clarify that they said insurance wouldn't cover it. I put my phone on the counter to make it seem like I was recording what they said, and evidentially they said "oh we didn't say it wouldn't cover it, we said it would be more expensive". What? Moving on, they decide the insurance will cover it, and they need to check and see if they have the medication to treat an infection. You are a whole emergency room, and you're telling an undiagnosed patient you need to check on medication? These are the front desk girls! Eventually she goes in the room, and there is a whole roach on the wall. (See photo). They forget to take her temperature, even after asking if she's had a fever or any fatigue. They leave the thermometer on the tray right in front of her. Keep in mind, we are the only car in the parking lot, so there's not any other walk-ins, and they are certainly not busy. We noticed about 10 minutes after there was a shift change happening.
