We have Kaiser and generally I'd take him to children's urgent care off Hwy 7 but ever since the remodel they seem to be coding everyone as ER and that co-pay is a lot higher. I looked up Kaiser urgent care and this is way closer than an actual Kaiser for anyone in the North area in the evening. First of all, there is no triage, it's so weird. You walk in and the person at the front desk tells you to scan a QR code and fill the stuff out. No "what are you being seen for, no vitals taken." It would be less rude to just not have that person sitting up front TBH. Anyway, the person wasn't rude - the way it's set up is. I filled the forms out and we were taken back by someone, idk she didn't really say her name or title. She weighed my son and asked about meds. Odd the intake form didn't ask me about meds for him but wanted my name 52 times. We were taken to a room, someone came in, didn't ask any questions or examine my son, and did a strep test and then told us there were 4 people in front of us. On one hand, I appreciate taking my suspicion of strep seriously... on the other, you should probably actually examine him? Like, what? We waited about 1/2 hour - not crazy for urgent care - and then a nurse came in and asked if he had diarrhea. No hi, no checking a patient name. In fact, he wasn't given a wrist band at all nor any other way to identify who he was. We said no and then she said she had the wrong room and left. What if he did, ironically, have diarrhea? Would she assume he was the other patient? A about 10 minutes later the same nurse came back, asked about symptoms and looked at his throat. No other exam. She did not check lymph nodes, his ears, ask about headaches, check his temperature again. She asked if he had a runny nose or a cough. Told us the strep test was negative, did not say anything about sending it to the lab, said she thought maybe it was still bacterial and ordered antibiotics. Mind you, there are a thousand signs all over this place about not overprescribing antibiotics which made this kinda ironic. She spent, maybe, 4 minutes with him. She asked minimal questions. After she wrote the script we just kind of assumed that was it and left. No follow up, no discharge papers or even an "ok, good to go". You just kinda assume it's done and walk out? So weird. In conclusion, if you aren't actually worried about something and want a quick in and out strep/covid/flu test it's probably faster than most and apparently you can also make an appointment. If you actually want to be examined or are worried about something more serious... don't go here. Also, someone came in with what clearly looked like a broken ankle and they let them check in before telling them there was no X-ray machine AND the company they use wasn't open until the next day.

I waited patiently for them to call me up and once called I had very nicely stated I was here for my appointment. While the two other receptionists were alright, this other really was having quite "a day" as she put it. The rude receptionists continued to say my FULL name very loudly and taking care to annunciate each syllable in my name in one of the most rude tones I have heard, much like a teenage girl would when they are trying to be a nuisance to their parents. After sitting down to wait she had no shame in talking in a volume voice continuing to be very rude to patients and openly insulting others around her. The only redeeming quality of this establishment is its medical staff. They house some of the nicely PT, physician and nurses I have had the pleasure of interacting with. Please take care when handling your patients. The first impressions are often met at the front desk, often making an experience make or break. In conclusion, medical team is amazing but the front desk customer service needs a major review. I understand if you're not having a great day but taking that out on well manured patients who have nothing to do with your bad day is unacceptable.

The center looks ghetto and like it is struggling to stay afloat. The doors are not automatic doors and everyone there is way too busy to help. I literally almost fell down because a customer was walking through quickly while I had just opened the door, he bust through and I almost fell. When I went back to get X-rays I had to ask 3 times before getting super firm and demanding a wheel chair. Then when I got into the x-ray room the rudest nurse, grabbed my foot and was pulling it back and forth without out care or consideration for my injury. Finally, the exam was over and I needed to check out. When I checked out, I told the nurse what the doctor had said. She only scheduled 1 of my apts and I had to call back to get the other apt on made. I have also received medication for a knee when it is my ankle that is injured. I was never told I was being sent medication and so all I can assume is the nurses were too busy and accidentally sent me a medication meant for another patient. I never wanted to go back to this clinic again but had per workers comp claim. It was the same rude nurses, the same attitude of too busy to care and the same nurses unable to read and follow basic instructions. I am now attending Peak and WILL NEVER step foot in a Concentra again.

I'm sorry, but having people in India or wherever is maddening; they don't answer the question asked and i have to raise my voice to ask them to STOP! and answer the question asked. The first person I spoke with told me I could no longer use my UCard if I order a replacement -- which is what the website says. New one takss 2-3 weeks. "So what do I use if I have to go to the hospital or doctor while travelling as i will be until the new card arrives?' Rep could not answer. Got a Supervisor who was not even given the correct info about which I was calling from the first rep. Started over with her... another ten minutes of dialog about the same initial question, during which she gave me the "new number," which was only four digits. "What are those four digits?" I asked. After more and more unanswered questions she FINALLY explained those were the last four digits of the new credit card (UCard), and all my other numbers remained the same. "So I can print my card from the website so I have SOME PROOF of coverage?" Yes. TOTALLY AND UTTERLY UNACCEPTABLE AND IGNORANT SERVICE. Might be time to find another insurance provider.d zk

This place definitely gets a gold star for customer service!!!…read more I was scheduled for what I thought was a bone density exam but the technician was walking me to the lab for bloodwork. I asked I thought this was a bone density exam. After back and forth about the appointment the technician looked up my order and sure enough I was booked in the wrong section. She then proceeded to tell me that they normally don't take walk ins but I can ask. So the technician walked me to the correct office and sure enough I received the same canned statement. I then said I took the day off for this is there a way i can get in? The clerk went to the back and asked a technician and sure enough she said I can get fit in. All in all the procedure took about10 minutes. Way less time than to drive to the appointment and the hassle of figuring it out but it's done and all came out well. And I can't forget to mention about the great valet service I received as well. Top notch!!!

My spouse recently had major surgery at UCHealth Cherry Creek, which was also her very first…read moresurgery and exposure to general anesthesia. While some aspects of her care were excellent, our overall experience was deeply distressing due to the conduct of certain post‑operative nursing staff. First, I want to acknowledge the providers who delivered outstanding care. Dr. Bouchard was excellent: clear, thorough, and compassionate in both pre‑operative and post‑operative communication. The attending resident was likewise excellent, demonstrating strong clinical skill and a respectful bedside manner. These physicians gave us confidence in the procedure and took our concerns seriously. Unfortunately, the quality of care in the post‑operative area did not reflect the same standard. After surgery, my spouse was slow to wake from anesthesia and in excruciating pain. While she was still groggy and doing her best to communicate her pain, one of the nurses was noticeably impatient, dismissive, and appeared focused on the fact that it was near closing time rather than on my spouse's condition. When adjusting the bed, this nurse repeatedly moved the head of the bed up and down very quickly, causing my spouse to scream in pain. There was no apparent attempt to pause, slow down, or modify her approach in response to my spouse's obvious distress. A second nurse was also rude and unhelpful until one of the anesthesiologist helped my wife. At a time when my spouse was barely emerging from anesthesia and struggling with severe pain, this nurse asked, "I don't know what else to do for you, what else is going to help you?" The burden was effectively placed on a post‑operative patient, rather than the nurse using her clinical expertise to assess, problem‑solve, and advocate for appropriate pain management and supportive measures. It was especially alarming that this nurse then suggested that my spouse might need to be transported by ambulance and admitted to a hospital, framed in a way that felt more like a threat or a way to move her out of the recovery area than a thoughtful clinical recommendation. From a patient‑centered care and safety perspective, this experience was unacceptable. My spouse was vulnerable - just out of surgery, in severe pain, and slow to wake from anesthesia, yet she was made to feel like an inconvenience. The tone, rushing, lack of empathy, and apparent prioritization of closing time over patient comfort and safety were completely inconsistent with the standard of compassionate care we expected from UCHealth. If we had known this was how the post‑operative nursing care would be handled, we would have requested a different facility. Patients undergoing major surgery, especially for the first time, deserve nurses who are clinically competent, patient, and empathetic, and who respond to pain and delayed emergence from anesthesia with professionalism and care - not frustration, dismissiveness, or implied pressure to leave because it is near closing time. I would strongly encourage UCHealth to review staffing, training, and culture in the post‑operative area at this location, to ensure that other patients and families do not have to endure the same experience.
