While the two other receptionists were alright, this other really was having quite "a day" as she put it. The rude receptionists continued to say my FULL name very loudly and taking care to annunciate each syllable in my name in one of the most rude tones I have heard, much like a teenage girl would when they are trying to be a nuisance to their parents. After sitting down to wait she had no shame in talking in a volume voice continuing to be very rude to patients and openly insulting others around her. The only redeeming quality of this establishment is its medical staff. They house some of the nicely PT, physician and nurses I have had the pleasure of interacting with. Please take care when handling your patients. The first impressions are often met at the front desk, often making an experience make or break. In conclusion, medical team is amazing but the front desk customer service needs a major review. I understand if you're not having a great day but taking that out on well manured patients who have nothing to do with your bad day is unacceptable.

She first visited another Concentra location, where she was told her insurance would be be accepted at the Thornton Parkway clinic, so she drove there expecting to receive care. She arrived at approximately 4:00 p.m. After reviewing the clinic's hours afterward, we learned that the normal last-patient cutoff is generally between 4:15 and 4:30 p.m. Despite arriving within that window, she was told they had stopped seeing patients at 3:30 p.m. If that was the case that day, why was she sent there in the first place? The front desk staff was rude, dismissive, and showed no compassion. My wife wasn't looking for special treatment--she was simply seeking medical care while in significant pain. Instead, she was made to feel like an inconvenience. What concerned us the most was being told that she would be "better off going to the emergency room" without anyone checking her vital signs, asking meaningful questions about her symptoms, or having her evaluated by a medical provider. Recommending that someone go to the emergency room without any medical assessment is both frustrating and concerning. She wasted valuable time driving from one Concentra location to another because of inconsistent communication, only to be turned away while in pain. That's time she could have spent receiving appropriate care elsewhere. Healthcare starts with treating people with respect and compassion. Unfortunately, that is not what she experienced at this location. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses both the poor communication between clinics and the lack of professionalism and empathy shown at the front desk. No patient seeking help should be treated this way.

I was able to make a reservation with the gal at the front desk who was quick, friendly, efficient, and awesome. Signed forms, paid the co-pay, went home. Came back at 12:30pm for my appointment and waited in my car until they called me to come in. Provider Jeanine (I think?) was in my room within a few minutes, checked out my ear, asked her fellow male (older) provider to come in for a quick 2nd look. He was super friendly and quickly said YEP, she needs both ears flushed! Then wished me well and they were on their way. Chelsea came in with the supplies to flush my ear, and I did a bit of small talk with her. She was SO friendly! And so quick! I asked if she was an RN and she chuckled and said she was actually an X-Ray tech but doing stuff like flushing my ear was super easy for her. She knew exactly what she was doing, double checked my other ear and said it needed to be flushed too (I'm only 33 years old!) and she was in and out within 5 minutes. She was super fun and had great energy which calmed me a lot. I'm so thankful she made me feel comfortable and heard. Once she flushed my 2nd ear I could hear 10x better and was shocked! I think I told her I loved her like, 5 times ha ha. Provider came back in, checked my ears, said they looked far better and I simply walked out the door to the parking lot. I thought they were going to simply give me ear drops and tell me to go home while I still suffered... so I'm beyond thankful they took the time to help me. Facility is clean! New. Nice. On top of that, the nurse swapped my nose for a Covid test and walked out the room with the swab open in her hand... I've never seen a nurse walk around with a potentially contaminated swab. My blood pressure was also not taken, I thought that was a standard vital to check.

Finally after getting in to an exam room they took forever to actually do anything and were extremely rude. When it came time for an X-ray which he needed for his physical they told him they were going to have to send him to a different facility because the x ray tech wasn't there that day. Even though I called to make sure he was and they said he would. I even called to make sure they had all the paperwork we needed to have done sent in and they didn't have any of it ready to go and then failed to give all of it back. And when we asked for all of it they were rude and said it was our fault. It was a horrible experience all around. It cost us well over $600 with Insurance.
