It was a difficult to get an appointment that worked with my availability, a sign that he's in high demand, or maybe I just have a rough work schedule lol. I had a less than ideal time scheduled, but the front desk staff had me to the call back list if anything came up that would work better for me. After getting 2 calls a better time did become available and my appointment was switched. Let me start by saying Dr. Goldstein is a wonderful physician. He was patient and thorough. He listened to my concerns and provided great recommendations. However, my first visit wasn't without some frustration! The wait time was literally killing me. I got to the office at 8:30am, as a new patient I was asked to arrive early for the new patient paperwork. The forms took me about seven minutes to complete, there was a total of six pages. The paperwork could really use an update. The font is tiny and hard to read, even for someone with good vision, and the print quality isn't great. Being that the office already uses an online patient portal, it would more helpful to make the new patient forms digital. After completing my forms, the waiting begun. I saw many patients arriving after me, some new and were called into exam rooms before me. By 9:30 I was finally brought into an exam room where an assistant took some information and set things up for the doctor. Then, more waiting. Dr. Goldstein didn't come in until 10:30. Dr. Goldstein was excellent once he arrived. The scheduling and time management definitely needs improvement. It's hard for working people to take time off and extend wait times like this only adds unnecessary stress.. It would be nice to feel that our time is respected just as much as the doctors. On a positive note, the office itself is very clean. Well kept in the front desk staff is friendly. I will continue to see Dr. Goldstein despite the not so great reviews that have been left. I hope that time management is improved by the time my next appointment comes around.

Westside employees went out of their way to make our experience easier…read more My Mom just spent nearly 2 weeks at Westside, within a month's time. Here's why we really trust them. ER - unlike tv ERs, the waiting room is a quiet, small, clean space with security officers and intake staff engaging with us. We didn't wait long to meet Mom inside the large ER and stay with her for more than an hour while they ran tests. When Mom was cold, they gave her warm blankets from their blanket incubators. When she got hungry, they got her food. The nurses - they are the hands and eyes of the doctors, who saw Mom every day. No matter when we ask, or which nurse, they all knew how Mom was doing, and not that generic 'she's ok' but a breakdown of what went on. Each day, before we walked into Mom's room, we'd speak with the nurse assigned to her room, and find out her health status. Every nurse made time for us. I've never seen nurses move so fast but they made sure no patient 'waited' long for them. Mom's nurse Michelle shared medical info about Mom and I had questions. She got the doctor assigned to Mom's case to call ME on a Sunday night, while we were in the hospital. I still can't get over that. Dr. Lopez called me with calm kindness, not annoyed tone. He was really nice and offered info I didn't think to ask. Totally amazing experience. The food - my Mom has stayed at two rehabs in the past 5 weeks and didn't love the food. But while at Westside, she ate every bit of food she was served. They put a purple orchid on her plates so she ate with her eyes and then with her fork! The cleanliness - this is on another level. You cannot find a bit of dirt or a paper or anything anywhere in that building. One day, we were in the elevator and an employee with a mobile housekeeping cart got in. Then another person from housekeeping joined us a floor up and when she saw the cart, she struck up a conversation with the other housekeeping person. She said how her cart is in the shop and she can't wait to get it back. They were talking about their carts like they were luxury cars. Professionals were given the tools they need to do their jobs, and they do their jobs perfectly. Go into any rehab and compare it to the giant size of Westside and the sparkling cleanliness that Westside has. Security and coffee shop - no matter who is working the desk, these are the nicest security officers ever. They are all in uniform and they are all professional. They go by the book about ID and where you're going, etc. But they are the sweetest, most considerate people too. One night, after becoming known to all the officers, having gone to the hospital every day, we got there just after visiting hours. We had a cup of tea for my Mom who asked me to bring it. We stumbled outside of the locked doors and were so burned out we couldn't figure out what to do next, and as we were kind of in shock that the doors were locked, having gotten used to the 24/7 of the rehab, an officer let us in. We went to Mom's room, dropped off the tea and took the elevator back down. We didn't take advantage of their kindness and we were in the parking lot within minutes. When you can, go to the coffee shop because the guys there are very friendly and considerate. When I told them I was getting Mom tea, the guy put two bags in the cup. When I added spinach empanadas and guava pastilitos for us to eat before going to Mom's room, they heated them for me. Likely both the officer and counter guy pushed the rules a bit, but they made me feel ok after being emotionally pushed and doing my all to keep it together. Case managers - every one of them is truly interested in sharing information and keeping us aware of insurance approvals/discharge orders/appeals/etc. Everyone of them but Nancy. Luckily they rotate the worklist so even if you get Nancy, hopefully in a day or two you won't. She is abrasive and obnoxious - and we got along! When I broke my wrist in 2025, we went to Westside. It was a good experience and I'm glad we went there. Through the years, under whichever name on the door, my late grandma, late husband, current husband, Mom and I have all gone there for treatment/testing. I have nothing bad to say about the hospital and especially this year, am very glad we trusted Westside. Mom is on the mend and hopes to see the Westside healthcare teams socially, only.

Can I give this place a -10 stars?…read more I've been to many hospitals over the years, and this was, by far, the worst experience I've ever had. I brought my brother to the emergency room with a severe open wound that was bleeding heavily and clearly needed stitches or surgery. I won't post a picture because it's graphic. Thankfully, I applied a wound-sealing product before we arrived. Despite the seriousness of his injury, he was left sitting in the waiting room with an open wound among everyone else for an extended period. That was very concerning to me. What disturbed me even more was the registration process. Registration staff were collecting patients' personal information out in the lobby where others could easily overhear. My brother, while still bleeding from his open wound, was taken to an area between two public restrooms to provide his personal information. From where I was sitting, I could hear other patients' names, addresses, medications, and other private information being discussed. In my opinion, patients deserve much more privacy and dignity than that. The only people who showed genuine compassion during our visit were the older white gentleman working security and Enrique, the ARMP. They treated us with kindness and professionalism, and I sincerely appreciate them. I previously worked in healthcare, including serving as a JCAHO Coordinator, so I understand the importance of patient care, privacy, and compliance. Based on what I personally observed during this visit, I left deeply disappointed. Every patient deserves respect, timely care, and protection of their private health information. Unless there are significant improvements in how this facility operates, I would not choose to bring a family member or friend here again. I hope hospital leadership takes patient experience, privacy, and quality of care seriously and makes the changes needed to restore confidence in this facility. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND WORST EXPERIENCE

They even have self check-in kiosks, which is such a great option if you prefer not to wait in line. The atmosphere was another pleasant surprise... the relaxing spa music playing throughout the office honestly made me feel like I was about to get a massage at a five-star resort, not sit in a waiting room. The efficiency here is unmatched. The second I checked in and sat down, they called me in. I didn't even have time to pull out my phone! I'm used to spending hours at doctor's offices, but not here. Even once I was in the exam room, I didn't wait long at all. I was in and out so quickly, I actually had to figure out what else to do with the rest of my day (a first for me at a doctor's appointment!). They also conveniently offer lab work being done here, instead of going to Quest or another location. As for Dr. Maria Cortti Ferrari... she was wonderful. Friendly, personable, and very knowledgeable. She made me feel comfortable as a new patient, and I left feeling confident that I chose the right office. Overall, an excellent experience from start to finish. I'm happy I picked them, and I definitely plan on continuing my care here.

I thought it was worth writing a good one because I actually am so thankful for this office....I have to admit at first I was seeing a male Dr at this practice who didn't really understand my needs and kept telling me that I was fatigued because I'm a "mom" but I knew it was more than that. I wasn't myself. I understand everyone's different and their approach might not align well with me and that's ok. I did some research about other doctors in this practice and came across Jennifer Curro. I am so grateful for her because she immediately showed empathy and understanding. She told me not to worry and that we'd get to the bottom of this and offered to run additional testing. We definitely got to the bottom of it and figured out what was happening. She continues to follow up with me every 6 months for testing and reviews everything with me thoroughly. I feel like I owe her tremendously! Especially after not getting help I desperately needed for almost 2 years!! She's really an amazing person and quality doctor. TOP TIER As far as office experience, they're very friendly and seem to have their work under control. They're professional and respectful. I've been coming to this office for 2.5 years now and have no complaints about them at all. If anything, they make an extra effort to confirm which type of appointment you need scheduled next for example. Because my memory is terrible, by the time I get to checkout I might forget if I need to schedule my follow up or blood work. And they just tell me that they'll call me once they confirm if they're not sure or figure it out for themselves by looking at my details in the computer. Apart from this, it's definitely on the techy side. Everything is manageable through an app, scheduling appointments, rescheduling, prescription refills, lab results and even non urgent messaging. They do take a bit to respond to the messages but if it's not an urgent message that shouldn't matter because they answer within the day or 2. If the office reads this message- thank you so much for everything and I appreciate you all.

There are a few times that they are WAY behind when it comes to appointments that it makes me wonder what the point of making one is. I had to wait almost 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment because they only had 2 people working at the time. The location is easy to find and the parking lot has a nice amount of spaces for everyone that needs to come here. The lobby is always clean and there is more than eniugh seating as well. One of their main entrance doors is stuck so there is only one door to come in and out.
