I injured my ankle falling off a bicycle, I put up with the pain as best I could, but after 25 days and still pain and having trouble walking I did some research with podiatrist and private practices. This urgent care was close to me and decided to contact them. I called and Ashley at the front desk gave me all the Info I needed, answered all my questions and made me feel secure in my choice. I didn't make an appointment and decided to walk in for an exam and X-ray. NP Mark Cha was such a delight and took such great care of me, I got the best care I've ever received. I was in and out in less than an hour. They knew I was paying out of pocket and made this experience as easy and affordable as possible. Total with visit, X-ray, and medication I paid under 250. That's less than one month payment for good insurance at my job. I highly recommend this location and will be coming back whenever I need medical care. I honestly regret not coming here sooner. When I walked in the staff was attentive and professional. I completed some paper work and barely waited 10 mins before I was called in for a revision. So far so good. I was given a covid test which I later got a bill for $100! And a strep throat test. Once I saw the nurse I explained my symptoms to her. I was told I had severe inflammation but did not know if it was due to a virus or allergies. I was given the option to take a steroid or to wait it out for a few more days and try OTC Flonase. I didn't feel comfortable taking a steroid without a verdict so I went with the alternative. A few week weeks later I get a text for a $252 bill! Not even a bill in the MAIL! So I had no news till now about a bill! I Kept getting multiple texts/calls in one day. By the way I NEVER received my COVID results! The quality of care and lack of transparency for the cost is the reason I will Never go back. DO NOT GET A COVID TEST if you don't want to pay $100+. GET ONE for $25 at the pharmacy. Go somewhere else for better care!

My wife called Premier Family Urgent Care to check their hours and make sure they are open. No one ever updates their times so we called to make sure. Christmas is on Monday and we know places are going to be closed. As soon as we arrived they had a well lit parking lot and plenty of parking. We walk in and are immediately greeted by the receptionist. She was kind and asked us what brought us in. The receptionist was very professional and asked open ended questions to better prepare the doctor. After I filled out a few medical documents the medical assistant approached and introduced himself. He was very well kept and professional. He took my daughter's weight/height and blood pressure. He wrote it down and informed us the doctor will be in shortly. Dr. Husam Nasir walks in and introduces himself and takes a look and explains his findings. He explains it so well even I understand and I appreciate that. With everything that I have mentioned so far I haven't gotten to the good part. I give the doctor the pharmacy to send the prescription and I leave. The Walgreens we use closed early and my wife called to see if they could send the prescription somewhere else. The Dr. sends it to the new pharmacy without any issues or anything. Most places complain or have some type of attitude because they were inconvenienced. Not this place, they are the example every urgent care/professional business should follow. We cannot be thankful enough from the receptionist to the medical assistant to the Doctor for all being courteous and professional. My experience in emergency and my mother in law in the Cancer center. The emergency wait can be long and on a frustrating night when I had a laceration on my lip as I had hurt my little dog by accident putting her down off my lap and he bit me. A chubby Shihtzu and I got him just wrong under his arms. I finally went up and said if I have to wait any longer I have to leave and I need care. It had been 5 hours. They were attentive and I had to see a surgeon who did a flawless stitch up of my lip. Although I am sure it is a requirement they called the police when I was in the waiting room about the dog bite. The police were upset they had been called when they found out it was my dog and not a criminal act and could not understand why the hospital had called them. It was upsetting already to be there but compounded by the police showing up. They left. The staff is patient, they explain all the procedures but most importantly they listen. There is security there and vending machines and easy access to restrooms. The parking is scary at night to walk quite a distance from the lot to emergency if you are injured and very few spots near the real doors. I had to go alone. I did not see lot monitors or good lighting. You can also enter from 91st west to California and take a left to miss the train tracks. My mother in law went through extensive treatment and spoke highly of the doctors and the care. Check your insurance to be sure they are not out if network as I got a hefty bill. I now go to Advocate for emergencies. Bialys is across the street if you need breakfast or a great meal if you are there for Family.
