I had a nice and straightforward experience at this Concentra location when I needed to get a TB test done for work. I came in around 30 minutes before closing and waited around 10 minutes to be seen; staff was very friendly which I appreciated as I am sure they were ready to close and get out of there. I came back 48 hours after and had a similarly pleasant experience having the TB test read. I came in with my friend for a drug test, and although we arrived at the same time, we were called in at completely different times without any explanation. The delays were unreasonable and poorly managed. More importantly, the level of customer service was unacceptable. The staff was unresponsive, unprofessional, and did not answer my questions when I asked for assistance. It felt like patients were being ignored rather than helped. Very rude medical front desk assistance . Unprofessional interactions . Very loud when they speak about patients information everyone in the waiting area can hear their information that's is a direct HiPPA violation. They only have one medical provider but they do not let anyone make any appointment. They pick and choose who they see and they take patients in per their company injury provider . The more they can get out of the insurance company the faster they see the person before anyone else that has been waiting for over 3 hours . Do not come here if u are seriously injured and in pain . They do not care about ur care they only care about the $10,000 dollar upfront charge and what they can milk the insurance company out of. It they cared about the patients they would have more then 1 provider on duty. Medical provider is sub par, the medical provider rushes you out the door, does not listen to your needs and don't care about ur pain and or suffering . Find another place to go . Do not come here . The dr there has a bad bed side manner. You do wait over an hour there. The front girls are nice, polite. The female dr just looks you over. Does nothing, says old age and degenerative bones. The physical therapy place is run by students. They expect 10 minutes and its impossible when your in pain. They push a bit more than what you can do. I decided to try a different office. Have been coming here for a few months now and have had a good experience with everyone and everything so far - from doctor visits, to physical therapy, and even acupuncture. The staff has been very friendly and helpful each time I visit or call. The only negative thing I can really think of is the parking, as it can get full quick due to limited space. First time, I would like to start with the professionalism here, the nurse I initially seen, he was very nice however I do not feel like neither him or the direct physician I seen were trying to ask questions to see what I was there for, no questions were asked, nor were any notes taken - they did all the talking in my 5 minute appointment to tell me my claim was denied, lack of help -lack of support or care from this place. Took my wife here because she fell and needed an X-ray. There are many urgent care clinics in the West Valley. Choose *any* of them. First, even though they were not busy, my wife waited almost two hours for an x-ray. As she said later "They don't know the meaning of urgent". Second, they made a mistake in the insurance billing, and within 60 days they had sent a $50 charge to collections. That's right, one bill, then a threatening letter and then off to collections for their error. And that is their standard practice according to the billing person I spoke with. waited almost 2 hours to find that one of the receptionists I was sitting in front of had taken me off the list. when I first went in (before 9am) to ask for just a strep test the first receptionist asked for my insurance card and id. I gave her my virtual card and she said no I need the physical copy so I can take a scan. thankfully I had it on me but it is a literal photocopy of the same exact information so that doesn't make any sense. I gave her the card and she handed me paperwork to fill out and said I should sit down. I said will it be long? and she said no it's not going to take long but it will take time to fill out so probably sit down. finished paperwork in 2 minutes. 15 minutes later I walked back to the counter to ask if they were done scanning so I could have my cards back, as is normal procedure for every office I have ever been to: show the virtual card or scan and return. apparently the second receptionist misheard me and thought I meant I was leaving. she didn't say a word and grabbed my cards and handed them back to me. I said thanks and sat down 3 feet in front of her and waited another hour and a half. I started seeing people get called back who were after me, I asked what my place in line was. the receptionist said she took me off because "you asked for your cards back and said you were going somewhere else". "whoops" on her. but not the end of the world. I explained that I asked if they were done scanning so I could have my cards back and i kid you not, 4 times over this woman had the nerve to tepl me that I said explicitly that I was leaving. honestly. have some accountability and take responsibility for your mistake. She does not belong anywhere near a customer in any field. I get back to a room and then waited ~another~ 30 minutes to be seen by a doctor who consistently cut me off while I was answering questions that he asked. this also happened 4 times. Magic number I guess. and I wasn't droning with him I wanted to get tf out. these were one or two words of response before he started talking over me and would. not. stop. my favorite part was when he left again WITHOUT LOOKING AT MY THROAT at all and I said are you or is someone coming right back because I've been here for 2 1/2 hours. (was also talked-over again when I asked this lol) and his response was "yea yea it's been a long day I wanna go home too" wow. I don't even have the bandwidth to go into how worthless talking with the doc was. tl;dr: this place is made up of people who do not care about their jobs, nor being decent human beings, nor do they have a lick of care about customer service, and seem to be living completely in their own worlds with no understanding that other humans exist. they deserve this place and it deserves them. I had to ask what was taking so long, and that's when they finally told me my application wasn't complete. No one bothered to update me or ask for the missing info. Receptionist was very nice and the collector for my sample was SO chill. Definitely did not have a bad experience. I'd only suggest to show up when they open at 8am, to be seen faster.
