Coming back here after so many years and Dr. Wilson is still here was a blessing. The whole staff if I remember their names correctly was Sadie, Renita ayeshia and Jeff is the perfect team with color that relates to me ..if I ever come back I hope the same staff is still here.. they have plenty of healthy snacks and water the facility is nice and clean.. even if I lived outside of Oakland, I will still make my way back to this Concentra.. so whenever I have work related business, I will definitely continue to put this location first.. I am writing to express my serious concern regarding the care I received at Concentra Urgent Care on March 20, 2026. I arrived at approximately 2:30 PM for evaluation of a work-related injury. I was initially greeted by two polite and professional front desk representatives. After providing my information, I was informed that my paperwork had not been received. I contacted my triage nurse, who promptly faxed and emailed the documents within minutes and confirmed receipt with the clinic. I was then asked to wait. At the time, there were only two other patients present. However, I waited until around 4:00 PM and noticed that several patients who arrived after me were seen and left. When I approached the front desk, the staff realized that I had not been registered due to an oversight. They apologized and completed my registration. After waiting an additional 30+ minutes, I was finally called in by a staff member who was professional and apologetic. He explained there was only one doctor available, which I understood and was willing to wait. Around 5:20 PM, the physician, Dr. Aundrea Wilson, entered the room abruptly without introducing herself or verifying my identity. She immediately asked why I was there in a dismissive tone. When I responded and mentioned that I had been waiting for a long time, she became visibly irritated, raised her voice, and spoke to me in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner. She stated, "Are you planning to talk, or are you here to waste my time?" During this interaction, she also said, "I am a manager, so go ahead and complain and see what you can do." This statement felt dismissive and intimidating, and it further demonstrated a lack of professionalism and accountability. She then attempted to log into the computer but appeared to have issues accessing it and left the room. During this time, her computer screen remained visible, displaying another patient's medical records. As a healthcare worker myself, I found this to be a serious violation of HIPAA privacy standards. When I decided to leave due to the treatment I received, the physician returned and again spoke loudly in front of staff, stating that she had intended to prescribe pain medication but would no longer do so since I chose to leave. Additionally: My original paperwork was reportedly shredded by a staff member who considered it "not important," which is unacceptable. I was supposed to receive an X-ray for my finger. When I requested protective shielding to minimize unnecessary radiation exposure, my concern was dismissed. The clinic was unable to provide documentation confirming my visit for my employer. I want to emphasize that the front desk staff and assisting personnel were kind, professional, and did their best to help in a difficult situation. However, my overall experience--particularly with the physician was deeply disappointing and concerning. As both a patient and a healthcare worker, I have never experienced this level of unprofessionalism, lack of communication, and disregard for patient safety and privacy. I strongly believe that Dr. Wilson would benefit from additional training in patient care, communication, and HIPAA compliance. I do not recommend this facility based on my experience. read more

The workers are lazy some barely graduating from medical assisting school, the lady that was supposed to do my TB test didn't even know how to do it, she had to have a coworker watch her and he ended up doing it for her. and when they put me in the room for the doctor to see me, the room was dirty from the last patient There was still trash and the bed was used They couldn't even change out the bed cover. I was selected at work for a Random Drug Test LoL!!! Concentra Urgent Care does all the Drug and Alcohol testing for my Company!!! When I Arrived at Concentra I found the location Clean and the Staff follows COVID-19 Protocols!!! The Waiting Room has a Flat Screen Television for Entertainment and a all Gender Restroom!!!! I was called in to take my Drug Test and it was the PA first Drug Test. But she was professional and efficient. I don't mind Drug Test!! Especially when I get paid to take them. For the Physical Therapy department, Joshua E Wasserman, PT was among the best PT I've ever worked with. I have recovered from a Lumbar strain in just as little as 5 weeks because of his diagnosis. Hurting my lumber left me in dire pain, unable to walk, and clouded my mind with negative thoughts of not recovering. I work a very physical job and am an athlete outside of work. Joshua helped me not only physically but mentally aswell by using his knowledgeable and recourses. Day 1 he was able to see how I couldn't even reach past knees when stretching. 5 weeks later my hands touch flat on the floor He uses information based on research and experience! He is very kind and has a great sense of humor as well. I worked with him for only 6 appointments but I definitely wish he could be my coach for weight training and sports. Let me start by saying that Dr. Wilson is amazing! She's provided excellent care so far and has fantastic bedside manner. I'd give her 5 stars if I were just reviewing her services. I waited about 3 hours before being seen by a doctor, that's when arriving 30 min after they open. Apparently only one physician was on staff and they were having connectivity issues preventing them from processing paperwork. After 1hr and 15 minutes of waiting the office determined my paperwork authorization had not been provided and had to call my manger to get verbal approval (my office sent the paperwork yesterday afternoon). As I went back to my seat the PA came out and mentioned any folks needing an X-ray would need to be sent to another facility. I immediately checked with the front desk and they said I needed to wait another 1-2 hours and then be sent to get an X-ray at the other location if it was deemed necessary. After leaving the facility 6 hours later I had at least gotten a short physical therapy appointment completed but felt like my day had been waisted for needlessly waiting. No one answers the phone at all, I literally called for 2 days trying to ask a question that could of avoided me wasting my time. Better yet, have a contingency plan to provide services and not waste people's valuable time. A 15 minute exam is always a 3-4 hour ordeal because they are lacking staff, are completely unprofessional, and do not provide any useful information. They need to understand the definition of Urgent Care. Any other Urgent Care facility has always been able to get me in and on my way within an hour, regardless of the situation. I was not seen till 1:30 and no notifications to anyone in the lobby by the receptionists as to what was going on. At 1:00 i went up to the desk told her my appt time and she goes "oh there is only one person on the floor it will be another 20 to thirty minutes" As im sitting there i see PA's walking around in back.
