MADE A YELP ACCOUNT JUST FOR THIS BAD: I came in on 2/25/26 in the morning and the front was EMPTY two Hispanic girls were so busy and NO ONE sitting in the check in window!! There was a PILE of filled out forms it seemed like only two people working with FULL waiting room finally 2 ladies came out and the front desk SHE WAS SO RUDE and STUCK UPI ended up leaving!!! The credit card reader was not working so the admin had to call it in. While I appreciate the attempt at privacy she made-- closed the glass window-- everyone in the waiting room can hear my credit card number clear as can be All the photocopies and paperwork here are smudged, off center and unprofessional looking. I never thought I would be so happy with an urgent care center. But, I'm so glad that I was able to make an appointment at this location, which takes most insurances. It was such a relief after not being able to make an appointment to see my doctor for an urgent matter until three weeks out. I was in so much pain that I couldn't wait any longer and finally caved in and called the local urgent care facilities. For the record, Dr. Najib still works at this location! And just like other yelpers, I found him to be excellent. For someone who works in the medical field, I can say that he is on par with the care that one should receive and he ordered exactly what I felt needed to be ordered. Not only did he order an x-ray, but he was also able to make a needed referral and was very knowledgeable as to how everything worked and what to expect regarding wait times and scheduling. He did exactly what I would want my PCP to do for me, but without having to wait for a PCP appointment. I was able to call the specialist right after my urgent care visit to make an appointment for a few days later. Talk about true URGENT care! I was floored! The process couldn't have been faster, more convenient, efficient, or better. The place does need to clean up some drops of blood leading up to the entrance. But, otherwise, this urgent care inside the facility is clean and well-maintained. There was no one else in the waiting room. I really like how you can make an appointment to see the doctor in advance even though I had to wait a good 30 minutes or so to be be given a room and a bit longer to see the doctor. I was injured by a customer's dog at work last night and out of caution, I wanted to get the post-exposure rabies shot and the wound looked at. This place was 35 minutes away but the only urgent care still open on a Saturday night. I am so pleasantly surprised by how well taken care of I was. I was immediately helped by a very kind nurse who helped me calm down before the shot. She cleaned and bandaged the wound and gave me tons of supplies to clean it myself at home. Everyone here was so nice. So thankful for an urgent care open late on a Saturday! read more

Went here today because their website (see screenshot) says they treat "fractures and sprains." The conversation went something like this. Me: Hi, I need to see a doctor. I was in a car accident about a week ago and... Rude receptionist (RR): (interrupting) We don't do car accidents. Me: But I think my arm might be broken because... RR: We don't do car accidents! We don't have an x-ray machine. So, I left to find a different urgent care. At no point during this exchange did she break eye contact with her computer monitor. Maybe they have an x-ray machine, and the receptionist couldn't be bothered. Maybe they don't, and they are lying on their website about the services offered. Maybe this is a McDonald's ice cream situation, where they have one but it's always broken. Regardless, you should go somewhere else if you have anything more serious than the flu. read more

I would suggest going with scanning documents into patient profile rather than having them fill out the same basic information that has not changed since their last visit including "Pharmacy" information. Instead of pulling a "patient's chart" from a filing cabinet, all these documents can easily be seen in their profile electronically.  The second page for patient consent form should obviously be signed by the patient for day of a medical visit should also be scanned and shredded. This makes things more efficient; whereas having to call the patient to verify a Pharmacy location or even just sending it to a "default location". Medication can be urgent for patients so having to call around to change locations can make it an inconvenience for both the patient and medical office. I don't know who I spoke today but it was not a pleasant and helpful conversation. "You are supposed to fill out your Pharmacy location, otherwise it will go directly to the Castro Valley location" I've had a medical staff contact me in the past, to confirm my location, being that I didn't know I had to fill out Pharmacy location each time. In this instance, the medication cannot be transferred to another store. To Dr. Najibulrahman Saifulrahman, Today I received a phone call from Alameda Alliance in regards to a Progressive Urgent Care discharge for "verbal abuse", in which I did not have verbal abuse conversations with anyone in office or over the phone. I simply went back and forth with possibly Kristina(office manager) in regards to medication being sent to a default location simply because it was not listed on the intake form when being seen in office. I believe this is unfair to me as a patient and how I'm being treated. No one contacted me in regards to this "verbal abuse" conversation or to let me know of any discharge by Progressive Urgent Care. I feel as if I am being black balled by someone and if this was signed off by both the office manager and/or Dr. Najibulrahman Saifulrahman. Alameda Alliance has opened a grievance in regards to this situation. Thank you. I hope to hear back from someone in office. read more

This place used to be clean, fast, and friendly. Came back for some help after not being here since 2021 and wow...rude, younger, immature, staff spent more time telling jokes about clients and giggling than working. It's unprofessional to act like that in places where people are a) sick, b) injured, c) stressing in some way or another. We sat in the waiting room for over an hour and 35 mins before walking out. Dr. Najibulrahman Saifulrahman falsified a virtual visit that never occurred. As a medical professional myself, I'm appalled by this. I've had an untreated infection for weeks now because I was never told that a prescription was sent to the pharmacy until I called them back just now. I will be reporting this physician to the state medical board and I've already contacted the billing department to dispute any charges that have been incurred. This is medical malpractice and insurance fraud. I would not recommend anyone to use this urgent care when this type of activity is going on. I'm absolutely speechless at this point. I can only hope that I do not have further complications from lack of treatment after seeking care. I should have been given a prescription after my in-person visit and I'm not even sure why a virtual visit was even indicated days after I was seen. read more

Came in on a Sunday after cutting my finger, which ended up requiring stitches. This was the first place I came to because of the urgency of the situation and this was the only urgent care clinic open late on a Sunday. Only one person ahead of me, but it took about an hour and a half for them before they I was seen. It was my first time getting stitches. The doctor told me I'd be okay by Wednesday and gave me a doctor's note until then. Wednesday night comes around and my finger is throbbing, painful, and swollen. Called in sick to work that night. Came in next day to get an extension for my doctor's note, thinking the doctor would just write me another doctor's note. I was told that the doctor was not in and that I would have to do an office visit with the nurse practitioner instead. I spoke with the office manager. She texted the doctor and the doctor said I would have to get the wound checked out again in order to get a doctor note's extension. Let it be noted that this place is NOT covered under my insurance, so they would be charging me for the extra visit. Had to wait another hour to be seen to get an extension for my doctor's note. I'm a nurse. I work in a high risk infection work environment and do a lot of hands-on patient care. There was no way I was going to risk having my stitches open up while I was working. My mistake was trusting the doctor when he said I'd be okay by Wednesday and not requesting more time off from the get go. I also incorrectly believed the doctor would empathize with my situation, trust a nurse's judgment, and allow me the extended amount of time, without me having to schedule another appointment and being charged for that appointment. Additional issues I encountered: -Trash bags of medical supplies sitting outside the building. -Doctor not introducing himself when he came into the room. -Doctor tossing trash on top of the trash bin and the ground. -Having to request a doctor's note three times and ended up having to go back and get one that same night. -Long wait times. I give two stars though, because I feel like the actual hands-on care provided was fine and I understand the insurance coverage is no fault of theirs. I think the doctor did a good job stitching up the site. The nurse practitioner that saw me was very thorough and checked the wound for any kind of infection. I'm also grateful there was a place like this open on a Sunday evening, which is not the case for every clinic. If insurance weren't an issue, I'd be less steamed about this, but that's a whole other issue (the state of healthcare in the U.S.) I won't get into here. I would have preferred to go to St. Francis Urgent Care, but they're not open on Sunday. I ended up finding this place due to my insurance. I came at 10 am and the clinic was empty. The front desk lady was nice enough and also took my basic vitals. However, the blood oxygen thingy that she clamped on my finger didn't even do any reading and she just took it back. This place sucks! The young lady at the front desk is so annoying about COVID tests. I went after recently having COVID and they demanded a COVID test from the last 24 hours. I explained that according to CDC, CDPH and Alameda County Health you're not suppose to retest for 30 days after having COVID because you can still show false positive. She made me go get one anyways just to be seen. This isn't posted anywhere online or at their facility but that's what she demanded. They also make you fill out all of the health and medical history paperwork again every time you go. Today I went in again and I was prepared with a COVID test that was taken 20 minutes prior to me showing up. It's clearly negative and she said she has to show it to the doctor first to make sure she can count it because she thinks there's a second faint line. See picture. There's no 2nd line. It's clearly negative. I just told her never mind and she smarted off "that's fine". I went straight to Sutter Health Urgent Care at Eden Hospital. There was no wait, they didn't make me fill out family health history and they didn't even ask about a COVID test. I will never go back to the trashy Progressive Urgent Care again. The nurse working at the front was so sweet and kind. She made my entire experience great for my mom and I very smooth. I went in because I had an infectious cut, and she was very kind through the process and when she gave me my shot. The doctor is kind as well, although I probably only saw him for about 5 minutes. We were in and out in less than an hour. I only had to pay the co-pay amount which was great. I was about to go to the ER so I am glad I found this spot. I highly recommend visiting! read more

Dr. Najib is kind, patient, and genuinely cares about his patients. My mother and I have gone to him several times for my mothers needs and he has listened to all of our concerns without rushing and has provided the right care. Unfortunately, since he doesn't serve as a primary care physician due to the office being urgent care, there are some limitations on what he can do, however, I will continue to see him for other needs. The office staff are also kind and patient. They take their time listening to your needs and doing their best to assist. We did run into issues about a month ago due to short staffing, however, our experience has been great every other time. I definitely will be visiting this urgent care for future needs. read more

If you have asthma triggered by allergies this is not the place for you. My sister and I were shocked at how we had to educate Rita Lol about the basics of asthma. Rita spoke to my sister over the phone which we thought was weird since we were physically there. My sister was hoping to get a steroid allergy shot to help relieve her quickly but we were told they don't do that there. That was no problem. Rita Lol agreed to prescribe the inhalers my sister is dependent on to help prevent her asthma attacks before they even happen. After waiting for longer than they said, we decide to give the "doctor" a call. We got the ok to head over to the pharmacist. When we arrived we realized Rita Lol lied about the medication she prescribed her. When she spoke to her because of Ritas mistake she said my sister needed to GO BACK TO THE DOCTORS OFFICE TO PROVE THAT SHE HAD ASTHMA & COULDN'T BREATHE AND THEN HUNG UP ON HER. Unbelievable. Rita was supposed to get in contact with our old provider to prove she has Asthma & maybe while she's at it, ask a few questions to educate herself. A simple google search would educate her about how a preventative Inhaler and a rescue inhaler are NOT the same. She needs to be more informed if she wants to work in the medical field. My sister felt helpless when dealing with her. A complaint will be made to the Medical Board of California. Save your time and go somewhere where they actually care about helping you. It breaks my heart to see my sister go through the stress during vacation away from home. If you find yourself in the same situation as my sister, peppermint tea is a life saver, but make sure to keep tums on hand because it causes heartburn. & keep calm when dealing with ignorant people. read more

They keep sending me bills claiming I haven't paid for my single visit a few months ago, despite that they've received my insurance payment and cashed my check. The latest bill threatened collections action despite being dated AFTER both the insurance and patient payments. Their actual billing department seems to be a voicemail line that is never, ever checked. I was only able to confirm my $0 balance by exhorting the receptionist/nurse at this location to do something about these billing notices. (All she could do was confirm the $0 balance; she just shrugged the billing notices off as a mistake.) Seems like evidence of a dysfunctional administrative system at best, or fraudulent billing practices at worst. read more

Same as others. Came here just for a covid test. When I arrived there I was told (after a long wait) they take "all insurance" and don't worry about it. We stayed in the car the entire time and had a less than two minute video call with the doctor. Ended up getting a bill for $300 of which $79.90 my insurance didn't cover. I came here to take a COVID-19 test so I could work on an event I had over the weekend. If I could leave 0 stars I would simply based on the customer service received. My test got lost, and due to the timing of testing I had to immediately go back to swab again, I had to leave work and lose money to do this. Once I got there the staff at the time had no idea I was retesting and not taking a new test which obviously speaks of the lack of communication between staff and took more time off my day and in turn making me lose more time at work. Additionally once my test results came in they called me while I was at work and I answered and asked them to call me back in 20 min. They agreed but needless to say i NEVER got a call back. I proceeded to call at least once a day, at one point 5 times in 1 day and no one ever picked up my call. I left 2 voice mails with my issue and information, never got a call back or email and on top of everything they couldn't find my information again even though I had filled out the forms TWICE. On a side note: They said that my aunt who also got her test done there couldn't receive my results which I understand for privacy purposes but they gave her my uncles test results which completely contradicts this. The first time I went I was swabbed by the lady currently in the reception and the second time they made me do it, so there is no clear method to anything in this place, which again speaks for the lack of professionalism and communication. read more

I got a deep splinter under my finger nail , Severe pain, and really maybe needed surgery to have nail removed to have it splinter removed, I called around and Here they had an opening, and were very nice. Kiana was caring and professional. Janette was excellent,,, and between the two of them,,,,,,,,,they did a procedure and got the deep splinter out !! And saved my nail ! Awesome !!
