Was told the "process" takes a whole 2 hours. ive literally counted and watched 10 people go before me and when I asked when I'm next, they said I was "next on the rack". Currently clocking after 2 hours now and then I seen three more people get called before me. if you're seeking a DOT screening for a job, don't ever come here, avoid. I wish I could do no stars because the staff there are so unprofessional and have no compassion and do not communicate well the MA feel like she can speak with you any ways and you need to settle and the MA lead and other staff members don't respect the fact because of us they are getting paid that place needs to be our source. This is a tough review to write. I have to say the front desk employees are great, and they deal with some mess. This place is severely understaffed and cannot handle even close to the volume that is coming in. They do not take appointments? How is that even possible. Anyway overall I was very disappointed with Concentra as a whole (first time in) but hey get two stars for their staff. I honestly do not know how they do it. I need to deliver a serious message to upper management, help this team out ! I have a feeling someone at the top is making bank and then starves the staff. Ridiculous. Literally Nothing urgent about this place! Wish I could give it 0 stars. Even arriving first before they even opened and waited by the door to be opened; had my paperwork with me and everything I needed. They just make you sit there for over an hour when they don't even have any patients back there! It does not take more than an hour to get papers together! All I needed was a pre-employment screening. I got there at 7:45 they open at 8; sat there until after 09:30! I will never be going back there; these people are far from competent. Waiting over three hours. 2nd time here this week. First day waited 2 1/2 hours. Terrible service. Don't come here!

The people working here are so kind, including the security guard. I had to wait for quite a while due to me needing a physical in addition to a UDS. The front desk staff remained interactive and friendly, gave me updates whenever I asked. Security made me feel safe and frequently chatted with me. Pro tip, if you need a physical wait until 9am to come in rather then right when they open. They don't have a provider in until about 9:00. I waited 2 hours however I feel like if I would've came in at 9:00 I would've only waited an hour. The people receiving just a drug screen were in and out much faster however I would come here with the expectation of an hour wait. read more

I really appreciated the front desk personnel at this location. They are always helpful and courteous. Even when they are extremely busy, they somehow manage to be nice to you and very patent. Especially Front desk personnel Ms. Hollie. I appreciate her willingness to deal with unruly people in the lobby. And to take the time to actively listen to our unique situation. One star awarded for the friendliness of the front desk and medical staff. Extremely pleasant and nice to deal with. On the other hand, service is extremely slow, they seem understaffed. Came in for an appointment for a physical and didn't get called in until almost 2 hours after the appointment time. Can't imagine what it would be like for a walk in. The location is on the Ave. side of Phoenix, so another star awarded for being proactive and hiring an armed security guard to sit in the waiting room. Didn't use my insurance despite me providing them with my insurance card on my first visit. When I called to talk about it, the woman was rude and kept repeating to me "what insurance" without letting me speak. I had to hang up because she wouldn't let me get a word in. The bill I received was hand written so I doubt my insurance will even accept it from me. read more

This place is a joke. The wait time is extremely long I was there for over 3 hours and of course they blamed it on staffing issues. It's reeks of pee and it don't look clean at all. I hate my employer made me go to this one only and I was pretty much forced to remain seated until I could be seen. People who came in hours after me was being seen before me but they stated because I was getting blood work my wait time was longer. Sent here for a pre employment drug screen. Rude counter lady asked me for my ID three times when I already gave it to her. Quoted 45min to 2hrs for a drug screen that takes 5mins. I mean do they understand people come holding their pee because they need to go in a cup. It takes 5 mins to do. Just get those people in and out. Absolutely horrible waiting room read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. All I needed was a physical for a new job and I waited 3 hours in the main lobby, 1 hour in a second lobby and almost 45 minutes in the exam room. All the while, I would ask for a time estimate and I would always get "you're next" or "there's just 2 more in front of you." Not a single staff member made me feel heard or was helpful at all. Minimal eye contact and tired expressions, seemed like none of the employees cared to be here at all. If you have to get lab work or a physical, I would definitely do everything you can to avoid this place. read more

This facility schedules your appointment. But then you sit up to 3 hours waiting to be seen. When they call you back. You wait another hour in the room waiting for the doctor. They don't listen at all to your concerns. You tell them what is wrong. But they don't do anything to do the proper treatment. Very poor staff and they are rude. read more

You will be have to sleep here in order to be the first one to be attended. They will have you waiting for HOURS. Do not come here!

My 1 star is for the free water and coffee they provide, outside in the lobby. And the nice doctor who briefly saw me. As for the rest, I cannot recommend anything else. I was sent here by the work place for an audiology exam, which I did have an appointment at 2pm. There were 3 people in the lobby when I got there. I filled out all paperwork and I sat there until 3:10pm. At this point, there were 12 people waiting in the lobby, including myself. As I went to ask how much longer the wait would be since I have another appointment scheduled at 4pm, the front desk personnel struggled to find the paperworks that I JUST filled out an hour ago, and then said it'll be another hour or so, as they have a lot of other patients waiting in front of me. She proceeded to tell me that they're backed up because 2 of their techs are out for lunch. Mind you this was at 3pm. The place was very inefficient at how they handle their patients, paperwork, and scheduling. I speak for all the urgent care patients that were waiting in the lobby when I say this- care was not handled with urgency. read more

Came in for a pre employment drugs screening. I called before to verify if I needed and appointment. The lady over the phone told me to come with a full bladder so I'm able to produce a sample. How are you going to tell people to come in with a full bladder but then have them hold it in the waiting room for over an hour? Isn't that unhealthy? Extremely rude! read more

Service was quick, unlike other reviews left recently I had great service. I came in the morning for a urine test, not too many people were here (9:30am). After filing out paperwork it only took about 10-20 minutes and I was in and out. read more
