Firstly, I heard them all talking about me while I was waiting for doctor to come in. I heard them say I had a lot going on and chuckled a little. I went in two days ago for uti and tested positive, they prescribe me medication. I than started to get sweats, chills, fever and body aches and they did not do anything. they prescribe me with cysts meds without verifying that is what it is. They also did not ack any of my symptoms I asked if i can take meds for fevers and they said that'll be concerning if i had a fever even though I informed them the night before and early this morning I had fevers. They did not send me with papers about what they checked or what medicine they are prescribing me with.NEVER AGAIN read more

I had an awful experience here from start to finish. I called ahead to ask if the waiting room was packed and didn't get a straight answer. I was told "we are always busy," so I made an appointment for a few hours later to avoid a long wait. When I arrived, there was no one in the waiting room. Check-in was frustrating and exhausting. The receptionist asked if the address they had for me was correct. I told her it wasn't and gave my correct address while handing over my ID. She printed the paperwork and asked me to confirm it, and it still had the wrong address. It felt like she was just going through the motions and not actually listening. The card reader also wasn't working, and I had to get up and sit back down three different times while they tried to run my payment. I came in because I could barely breathe. I was wheezing and short of breath, and repeatedly getting up was draining. The medical care felt dismissive. I told the staff I had already done breathing treatments and they weren't working. Their response was basically to do another breathing treatment and get an X-ray. I asked if that was it, and the doctor told me they weren't going to prescribe me any medication. I have severe asthma and was expecting at least steroids to help. The X-ray experience was the worst part. The technician was physically rough with me, pushing and twisting me, jamming my face into the chin holder and forcing my shoulders around instead of simply giving verbal instructions. I can follow directions. I've never been treated like that during an X-ray in my life. After the breathing treatment, I picked up the wrapper to see what medication they were giving me. The nurse snatched it out of my hand and slammed the door. Then suddenly everyone got very kind when they thought my lung had collapsed and told me to go to the ER. The contrast in how I was treated was hard to ignore. I would never recommend this urgent care to anyone. read more

I went in for Urgent Care as I was sick and could not attend military drill and was required to see a provider. The front desk nurse was very nice and checked me in, however when I went in to get my vitals and prior to seeing the provider, the nurse was very rude and condescending. She was irritated with the way I was answering some questions.(I was sick and kind of out of it) Even before that, when I asked if my sister could come back with me she looked annoyed. I made sure to let the provider know she was rude but it doesn't look like anything is being done since it seems common for nurses here to be rude like that. read more

It was about 20 minutes past our appointment time when they finally took payment. We then sat there for nearly another 30 minutes while they took back other patients who had arrived after us. One nurse even left and came back with a pizza while we waited. Finally, we asked to be refunded and left because it was clear that no one at this location wanted to see, or even acknowledge, our special needs son. TLDR: If you have a disability or a family member with a disability, DO NOT take them to this urgent care. They are not safe here. The medical staff is clearly ableist and uncaring. My twin 11 year old boys saw Miranda Snyder NP today for cough/sore throat and we all left feeling seen & heard. The receptionist was kind and helpful, the medical assistant Kyle was thorough and accurate, and Miranda tackled both boys with care as if they were her own. I would advise as a medical professional myself to beware of the 43rd Avenue and Bell Road urgent care. My son clearly put he could not take pills in his record and a pill prescription was prescribed. When he asked about liquid form he was told that prescription could not be put into liquid form which was not correct. This makes me question the providers ability to correctly prescribe medications and we would like this looked into. I knew it was possible but we googled it as well. He called the pharmacy and was told it was no problem but the Urgent Care would need to call a new prescription over to them. He called Urgent Care back and the office girl was dismissive and rude with her attitude over getting this prescription redone. (This was the same girl who first told him it wasn't possible to get it in liquid form. This was not her place to give him that answer as it was incorrect. She was practicing medicine and thats not okay.) She put us on hold several times for long periods of time. She then refused to talk with me, his mother, after explicit consent was given by my son. Verbal consent is okay when given over the phone which they should know this. She should also be informing us that calls are monitored and recorded and she did not. He wanted me to talk with them because I'm an RN and knew more about this. She continued to argue that she couldn't talk with me even though he had given consent several tines by this point. He then asked to speak with the provider because we weren't getting anywhere with her. She then said that the provider won't speak to him either if I'm there with him on the phone. This was out of line and not her responsibility. He then said we were going to go there because she was making this extremely difficult! She then lied and told the staff that he said we were going to go there and "make them give him the prescription" which was a totally false accusation. I would like the recorded calls for these interactions be reviewed. I see that there are responses to positive comments in the reviews but I don't see many responses to negative reviews and these are the ones that need to be addressed. read more

wonderful care! I went in due to an allergic reaction from bug bites and everyone was so kind. I had a vasovagal response from the injection they did and everyone immediately came in to help when my husband notified them I wasn't feeling well. they were very attentive and made it a very welcoming experience. read more

I will never go to this urgent care again. Nancy Dunn NP is the most abrasive, least compassionate medical professional I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with. I took my special needs son to this urgent care for a worsening cough. You'd think that he was the very first atypical patient she'd ever encountered for how little understanding and lack of care that she treated us both with. My son was in tears by the time we got in the car. Such an unnecessary and awful experience! I truly cannot wrap my head around what just occurred. I cannot understand how such a rude human being gets into healthcare. It seems so contradictory. Unbelievably disappointing and infuriating. On March 4th at 3:45pm I came in for my scheduled appointment which was at 4pm. I was receiving care because of a car accident I was victim to 3 days prior. Kim was the front desk lady and was incredibly rude and unprofessional. She initially tried to turn me away right when I walked in. There were 5 other parties waiting in the lobby who were walk ins. Kim told me to go sit down as there is a wait. At 4:06 I received a text that my reservation was going to be cancelled if I did not check in soon. Confused, I went up to Kim and asked why I received a text when I checked in with her 15 minutes prior. She attempted to argue that she was checking me in at that moment then she realized she "forgot" to press the check in button on the other monitor. Every other patient gets taken back and seen before me. When I am asked to pay, Kim attempted to charge me $150, when I asked why she said because a copay was not listed on my (dental) insurance card (I am under the assumption that information can be looked up under my patient ID number on my insurance card). I took back my ID card and dental insurance card, which is all under the same program, and handed Kim my full insurance card that has the copays listed (my copay is supposed to be only $50). I was not seen until every other patient (walk-in) was called back and I was the last patient in the waiting room. After I had been called back and complained to a nurse, I was informed that reservations take priority and that I shouldn't of been treated that way, though the nurse sounded unsurprised by my complaints about Kim. I believe there have been many issues with Kim in that office based on the other staffs reactions. While waiting in the waiting room, I observed Kim turn away a mother who was in need of a X-ray referral for her young son who possibly had a broken wrist. Kim informed the mother they did not have a tech to perform an X-ray in building and suggested the mother go to another one of their locations. The mother asked if Kim could call a specifically named location and Kim responded with "No, you can call them though, I have 5 more patients to check in". I am all around very displeased with my experience with Kim today. As someone who works in customer service and for the public I am hoping that this message does not go unheard and for there to be some sort of coaching or repercussions for her poor actions toward the people in vulnerable situations that she affected today. (I would like to add that my nurse and dr that treated me were super sweet, my only poor experience was with the front desk, Kim.) read more

I went in and told them I hadn't been able to sleep or eat in almost a week and had lost at least 15 ppounds and very bad anxiety and depression problem, and was hospitalized for mental health problems so they knew I had problems and when it became clear they wouldn't give a medication I was on for years and years, but havent got it prescribed in couple years because of reasons I'm not getting into,and treated me like I was just trying to get drugs, I had a panic attack and mental break down and thought it best to leave before I made a scene so I went to the front desk lady to get my discharge papers but was refused, then I tried to get a ride back home from my insurance and they lied and told the insurance company I never saw them until I walked back in there to confront them and they changed there mind real quick after speaking to the insurance people and then hung my phone up before I could confirm the ride and they kicked me out and said I'm no longer welcome back because I told them they didn't know how to treat a persons mental health problems and said other things I couldn't hear. this was around 6:30 ish on December 14th 2024. I don't remember the doctors name or anyone else's cause they didn't give me a discharge papers even tho they took my vitals, and talked to the nurse or whoever sees u before the doctor and I saw the doctor. The doctor was the worst and needs to be trained on what not to say to a person with mental health and how to recognize when a person is having mental health problem. not being able to sleep bareley for almost a week and not eating can do very bad things to someone with mental health problems and this was a huge trigger for me, so if anything happens to me, not saying it will but it will be that girl doctor and front desk lady's fault, but something tells me they could care less. Worst care ever, not only the care, but there phones are off on purpose to not answer calls. Their waiting rooms are empty, but you cant select appointments because the make it that you cant from the office staff. I would highly recommend reporting them to the medical board every time you come and you get inappropriate care. Im only giving it 3 stars because my daughter had a great experience with the staff generally except one person. She preformed a TB test on her, came back positive, she had to pay to get X-rays done to make sure she didn't have any TB. My daughter is a teacher and has gotten TB test done regularly. After she got the negative X-rays back I told her to go see another place because her arm looked awful! The other urgent care told her they had stabbed her too deep and had done an inadequate job that's why she kept having side affects which she's never had with any other TB test done. The lady that did the hack job wasn't there again during her follow up so she couldn't get a name. IF YOU GO GET A TB TEST HERE DONT let the older nurse with glasses and blonde/orange hair do a rush job on you! The rest of the staff was very kind and did amazing read more

Had a 6pm appointment, had to rush home from work to make it on time. i was 2 minutes early and the door was locked. there was a note on the door the said "Due to the large volume of patients remaining to be seen, we have closed our clinic early for the safety of our team and care of the patients" the lights were off, and no one was inside i called 3 times and no answer. then i got an email that i missed my appointment. real nice whomever was running this location today. you could have given me a heads up instead of a 6pm appointment reminder. like the place, but whoever was in charge did not care about common courtesy!!! read more

The care for our 5 year old was adequate, but the 2 desk women's behaviors were inappropriate. They showed they did not care. I wrote to the CEO of Banner Urgent Care who phoned me. It is important that we address issues with administration. Know your insurance plan and call the number on the card right there in the office. Over-charging means that we will now wait for reimbursement of the overcharged $25 co-pay. They made us sit in the lobby for 3 hrs even tho we had an appointment. When we left with the crying child, the one woman had the audacity to smirk and shake her head. Again, administration needs to know when WORKERS act inappropriately. Get your insurance plan to include PCH urgent care who cares about kids. Adults--care is awesome at Nextcare on Thunderbird. I hope the administration's re-training can make a difference for Banner's reputation. read more

Went in for an ear infection. I was half expecting to be there for at least an hour but they were taking my vitals less than ten minutes after I walked in the door and the NP was in as soon as they had my vitals. By far the easiest, fastest urgent care visit I have ever had. The staff was so nice and the NP was amazing! I highly recommend this place if you wanted to be treated right! read more

On July 1, 2016 I woke with a size able lump under my jaw. I had just been to the orthodontist for braces tightening & had previously been treated for infection in a tooth near the swelling. I explained the history showing results of salivary diagnostics, meds taken, and asked for an antibiotic because of the upcoming 4th of July holiday & inability to contact dentist. Dr. Peter Trethewey, PA-C stood 10 foot across the room from me, arms crossed against his chest, as he lectured me on how antibiotics are one of the deadliest drugs. He never approached me, never touched my swollen jaw, never looked into my mouth. He wrote me a prescription for nausea and wrote on my chart that I had rotten teeth. I scheduled on line and arrived early and they got me right in. I pulled up the form filled it out and was give 20 minutes to get there for check in. The front counter staff, the aide and doctor were all very helpful and friendly. I had an injury from doing yard work. They completely checked it out and treated with what I thought was appropriate. My wait time thru all of it was minimal even waiting on the X-ray did not take long. read more
