Front desk lady refused to help my daughter see a doctor for a Sports Physical because the document had the NextCare logo on the top. Even though the bottom of the document stated you are not required to use NextCare. She pretended to go to the back and stated she talked to the "head doctor of the facility" and said we have to go to NextCare. We dove to Evernorth at 9069 Thunderbird and are currently waiting to see a doctor. No issues. She was just hard headed and refused to assist us. read more

Their site says they are open 24 hrs/day at least Yelp states they are. I called them this evening to take my wife in for either food poisoning or the flu. This location nor any other clinic in the Northwest Valley (Glendale, Arizona) is open. We did a home covid test to satisfy the liberal readers (Negative). She has been vomiting since late afternoon, within an hour of drinking a raw green drink from Nektar (food poisoning) or simply the flu. Bottom line is next option is ER for dehydration. read more

My daughter had her first appointment with her new pediatrician, Dr. Kinra. I have had several pediatricians in the past, but Dr. Kinra was, by far, the BEST pediatrician I have ever dealt with. During my daughters wellness visit she made my daughter extremely comfortable after her vaccination and made me feel very comfortable with discussing my daughter's needs and behaviors. She was relatable and relayed information very well. She gave me great recommendations for my daughter's eating habits in a way that wasn't overly critical and even gave great advice on handling her terrible twos. Most other pediatricians that I have dealt with always give me this cold uncaring vibe and most don't have kids either so talking to them can be very awkward, but Dr. Kinra? I really couldn't ask for a better pediatrician! Front desk does take a little longer to check in due to a new system, but they're still very personable and great people. read more

this will be long, but everyone has their own experiences with places, you may have/had a good one but me personally i was about to right hook this doctor. her name was DR D Baldemor, we came in last njght because my daughter was super sick and this had lasted more than a few days and wasnt improving. so fast forward to being seen shes asking me questions and when im answering them shes looking at me like im just fuckin flat out stupid and dont know what im talking about when it came to MY 2 YEAR OLDS SYMPTOMS but u know whatever im just living in delulu. anyways. so she starts examining her, she immediately just starts forcing herself onto my daughter while my husband is trying to hold onto her, shes falling out of his arms because hes using all of his strength to back her up because shes shoving those stick things down her fuckin throat shes gagging on it, screaming, crying, face bright red because shes gagging her with it because shes resisting due to the way she even approached my daughter in the first place i had to yell at her to back the fuck up in order to get her off of my daughter and husband AFTER the fact that my husband was telling her hold on back up for a second repeatedly. then she proceeds to say " why dont we just lay her down and i can look at her throat that way since shes already crying. This review is specifically concerning the front desk staff. In particular, the staff who handles patient employer forms. I had been back to work for over a week after taking two weeks off as recommended by my doctor. My companies HR department required me to have the doctor fill out a separate form specifically stating that I was fit to return to work (this was dumb considering the original form had an ending date, but oh well). When I tried to explain my situation to the staff member she tried to argue with me and didn't seem to want to hear me out but agreed to ask the doctor. At first, I couldn't figure out why she was so upset but figured she was having a bad day. She came back around 20 minutes later, handed me the blank paper, and informed me that the doctor was furious that I would ask him to sign the form. Ok, this makes no sense. It occurred to me that she might have assumed I wanted more time off work, but she never gave me a chance to talk. She said angrily that she could not help me and suggested that I leave. To her credit, she did call me a while later and said that she talked to the doctor and that he would sign as long as it was the original dates but by this time I was already home and still furious over her treatment of a patient. This was literally the rudest person I can recall ever having to deal with. read more

The pharmacy at this location is beyond incompetent. If I could rate a minus 1 I would. They are so incompetent even after having the nurse call in the prescription from the location 2 hours before hand and they still did not fill the prescriptions. This happened 4 different times and being I do not live close by I did not fill any of the prescriptions. I do like my PCP at the physicality, and Dan the nurse is an ace when it comes to giving B 12 shots. To be fair, the pharmacy at the other Cigna location on 3003 3rd street is a 6 * rating in my book. They go out of their way, are professional, answer questions and are rapid (not just fast) in filling prescriptions and also on returning calls. I forgot to add the Eugie did not bother to return calls while the downtown location is prompt. The pharmacy contrast is like black and white a total 180 in proficiency. In order to cope, I see my PCP at Eugie and do not even bother to have my prescriptions sent to their pharmacy but request the Doctor to direct prescriptions to the 3003 location. Since I have been doing it this way, I get my all prescriptions, questions answered and do not feel like I am afraid to deal with the pharmacy due to incompetence. read more

Brought my sister in here on a Sunday night with a thumb injury, and at no time did I fear for her mortality. She was seen by Dr. Weiler. He took the time to X-ray her thumb, explained the problem carefully to her, told her about the treatment and self care, and then explained the other issues she had related to her thumb. He asked her at least twice if she had any questions but, it wasn't even that he asked--it was the way he asked, as though he really needed to make sure she was satisfied and understood. The medical assistant, Jeff, was also very good. Between the two of them, they gave sis great medical care. Might have to change my insurance to Cigna after watching that. Wow. read more

The pharmacy staff are quick & connect with the customers which is nice. At the other Cigna pharmacy I got a lot of back & forth regarding miscommunications between the pharmacy & the Dr. I've had only one issue with that at this location in a year. So that's not bad to say the least. Head & shoulders better that a lot of Medicare places in town. The family practice office staff ALWAYS call with reminders for appointments, speedy appointment setting & multi tasking Gods. They can answer a call, set an appointment all while handing you a medicine list to confirm. The Dr's at this location have also been helpful & thorough. Make sure you do your homework on your Dr or you will be sorry because not all Drs are created equal Because I work full time & take care of my Mom full time I have the last appointment every time we go for her. Because of her years there are blood tests at every visit to check her various levels & she's a relatively healthy senior. So naturally we are one of the last in the lab for every visit & we were told by the male technician in the lab that they've asked the staff not to send patients in for labs that close to close because they have procedures to follow to close & it causes them difficulty. So I tried to make an extra trip on other days for the labs convenience (if they are just regular check up labs). But my Mom raised a good point & that it wasn't my responsibility to maintain the labs boundaries that it's there's & we should never have been told that. She was right so I've stopped doing that & just deal with the disappointment on their faces. I wish there was a way that both Dr & lab staff could happily coexist. read more

I went in for a rather detailed procedure and was put at ease beginning at the front desk, all the way through check-in. The staff knew I was nervous so they were extra friendly and reassuring, even making a few lighthearted jokes to make me laugh. The check in nurse was very sweet as well. A nurse took me through the preliminaries and then Dr. Weiler came in, took his time with the examination, and explained everything. What he told me would likely hurt really didn't and, from that point, I never felt a thing. They were total professionals all the way through. This place is ridiculously slow. I was the 2nd person in line when they opened and it took over a half and hour to be seen. Then once the dr did see me and left to run a test I sat in the room for more than half an hour for a test that should have taken maybe 10 minutes to read. Very poor service. They also asked me for my prescription medication and I provided the name of a very common birth control. The nurse had me spell the name no less than 10 times. Will not be returning! read more

If I could put negative stars for the Cigna Urgent Care on 59th ave and Eugie I would. My visit there started out as any other, I came in had to wait the standard 45 minutes to see the Dr. Everything was fine until I was taken into a patient room. I could overhear this one (I suppose she was a nurse) woman talking to another man about how slow the radiology department is and how incompetent they were, etc. (I thought that was ironic considering I waited almost an hour to be seen) Later the same nurse comes in with this happy go lucky attitude and I wasn't buying any of it. First of all I'm in the radiology field and I think the disrespect from their colleagues laughing and putting other people down is very high school and mean girls. As a part of a radiology team I am so thankful I don't have to work for a place such as Cigna. As coworkers apart of the same company you're supposed to help one another succeed and not put each other down especially when patients can hear overhear you. We've all been put down by others, and this experience really upset me, I'd rather pay out of pocket then ever come back to this Cigna. Get your urgent care coworkers in check Cigna!! read more

I am appalled with the staff at this location. They need to learn that not everyone with pain is a drug seeker. Two days ago, my daughter developed severe abdominal pain that left her unable to hold down food and water or go to work or school. She visited an ER, who provided 2 days of pain medications and her PCP was unable to see her prior to the weekend, which forced her to go to this urgent care as she had run out of medications and was still experiencing severe pain. She is a single mother of two toddlers, she is a health care provider who works full time and is a full time student working to further her medical career. The staff spoke loudly and negatively about her in the halls, violated HIPAA, and treated her like a drug seeker instead of trying to determine the etiology of her sudden onset of pain. Not only does she not use drugs, she does not drink alcohol and just wanted to find out why she was experiencing the debilitating pain. I, too, am a nurse and would never dream of treating any patient who has come to me in thier time of need the way the uncaring and apparently jaded staff treated my daughter. The staff at this urgent care need to evaluate their chosen career fields and receive training on patient care and learn how NOT to treat patients. Upon leaving this facility, my daughter was in tears, not only due to the physical pain but due to the character insults spewed by those who were supposed to provide her care. As a mother, I am livid. As a nurse, I am saddened and as a healthcare leader, I am sickened by the staff. read more
