The dr said I was covered for my carpool tunnel after the xrays but when I was speaking to her she mentioned arthritis and I said what? She immediately changed it to carpotunnel. But in the end she reported as arthritis so I wasn't covered. Please be careful with these people they seem really friendly and we all fall for that but they don't have ur back! read more

Unprofessional staff with different specifications upon coming to the clinic. Called in advance with information for a test. Policy is that if I have "X" then I need to specify it in order to take an alternate test. They ignored that information. They Administered the first test with prior knowledge that I would show symptoms if I did, and refused my request for the alternative test, then when I showed symptoms for the first test they wanted to charge extra. Care quality is absolutely in the negative, they caused unnecessary pain and suffering for monetary gain. read more

After waiting 35 minutes listening to the employees fooling around and giggling behind counter I asked what was going on they told me they couldn't see me till 4. I came here to get checked out for a potential concussion at work and was unsure about the process. The woman up front was so nice and personable and helped me figure it out. The nurse who brought me back and got my vitals was also very personable and he provided me with an ice pack and a pain gel. The doctor who came in to do my exam was informative and sweet and she made me feel comfortable and soothed my worries about my condition. I came in around 1530 as a walk in and I was seen very quickly and had very little wait time, between 5 and 10 minutes. read more

I had to come here for my pre-employment stuff. From the time I hit the door, I felt like I was treated well and my time was valued. The front desk person -Norelis- was the same person who checked me out. She was professional and efficient, not only with me, but with every patient in the center. Everything was efficient until I got to the discharge person. She asked me to sit down. She got up from her desk to chat with another office worker about personal things, I could hear their conversation. After about 15 minutes, which I know isn't THAT long, she gave me 2 sheets sign, no explanation of what I signing. When I stopped to read, she became impatient with ME. Then I noticed she had already booked my next appointment without asking me what was convenient for ME. Well, being home in San Antonio after being gone for awhile and not having a regular doctor here I had to resort to one of the clinics and BOY was that a mistake. Every 5 years as a civilian US Coast Guard Captain you have to renew that means drug test( most boat gigs have you on a Consortium so your checked constantly) and then Medical ( physical ) I am in great health being my age of 53, eat well exercise etc. So down to doing my renewal in San Antonio Texas is stressful due to fact not many Offices and clinics know what to do with USCG Physicals but USCG makes it easy for Physician with "Instruction Pages " on the Mariner's Application, But they don't read it ALL !!! UGH!!! Backing up a bit I had already submitted a physical done a month ago from a " DOT " facility, the Doctor was great , very through but it got kicked out by Coast Guard due to the fact he was a Doctor Of Chiropractic's. OK, so back to looking around and ended up going to a place I knew had bad review's because now it's crunch time and have to get it re-submitted. Went into Concentra Urgent Care on NW Loop 410 here in San Antonio, Texas the counter help and the nurses I must say were helpful but doing what they were told. I was quoted a prices and then it went up from there. finally after 172.00 later I was still waited to get started. Went in finally eye test, weight, height then blood pressure which I track and then they say " Oh your pressure is high, So what happens then is you think "Why is my Blood Pressure High?" Hearing test and it wasn't explained well and to fast on and on. Finally into the waiting room for your next 3/4 hour wait that you can hear outside the door and down the nurses station making appointment for other patient, and come and tell you , that you have hearing loss and high blood pressure. Really ?? Wow !!?? Oh, but I could hear them down the hall but I have hearing loss and the fact that into now another 72.00 later saying we miss this on your application we need to do a physical lifting test but have to check your blood pressure to make sure it went down before we do that or you'll have to come back... For what another 150.00 again and then you tell I probable need to go on High Blood Pressure Med's , What ??!!! I don't even use aspirin. And then asked you didn't check off any health issues , I said I don't have any and She looked at me in disbelief. That was it !!! Almost 3 hours later and into 243.00 and still no exam and waited on this Princess Doctor . I said we are done refund my money for the exam portions not done. Big waste of time and money this place is and if you fall for the BS they feed you, you 'll come back for more and they will take you to the cleaners and get nowhere. Unbelievable !!! And you wonder why our Health Care Sucks, Granted there are of a Ton of Super Hero Doctors out there, then there are these folks. Do your research, check reviews and be careful. read more

I got here at 1:10 pm for a DOT physical for my employer that takes 15 min. It's very frustrating when multiple people that arrive after you are being called to the back. At 2:45 I was called back only after asking what was taking so long. They took me to the back for my vitals but immediately sat me back in the waiting room for another 35 minutes because they didn't have any rooms available. Really???? I'm sure it was just to shut me up. Finally got called back to the back again at 3:25. Sat in the room an additional 40 min!!!!!! Believe me I'm actually timing it at this point!!! The physical literally took 5 min to do and I was on my way to check out. And what do ya know........ I had to WAIT 15 min to check out!!!! But hey, at least they're consistent right???? I will NEVER waste my time at this place again. Do yourself a favor and don't give them your business. I was here for 3.5 hours for something that shouldn't have taken longer than 45 min including the wait. I wish I could give zero stars. read more

I was actually really pleased with my experience here - I was expecting a very long wait, but got in and out on a Monday in about an hour and a half. Had to wait a bit for the actual doctor and I'm not sure she was quite as thorough as she could have been, but the staff were all extremely polite and I got very adequate treatment and advice. This was the worst experience I have ever had in a doctor. The quack "PA" (piss ass) that saw me diagnosed me with an upper respiratory infection and then told me to switch from Zyrtec to Zyrtec D and from Musinex to Musinex D. Um...HELLO!!! It's an infection!! That requires an antibiotic. No medicine was prescribed and then they worst of it the quack "doctor," and I use the term doctor loosely, signed off on it. This place is full of idiots that obviously got their licence to practice medicine out of a cracker jack box. Then they expect me to pay them $100 for the visit. Not happening. I utilized this Concentra for employee health screening for one of our employees. The medical staff are unprofessional. One told me they were busy to send results and would send me the documentation for the already paid for/performed services sometime before the end of the day...which was then 3 days and 4-6 phone calls/emails after they had already been completed and paid for. Loved this location it was very clean and the wait time was minimal. I had just come from fastmed on potranco who 1. Has an extremely small waiting room. 2.it was extremely hot in there and 3. They let me fill out ALL of my forms and wait for 30 mins before telling me they don't accept my insurance. So yeah this place was a breath of fresh air to me. The girl in the front was friendly, they have a huge waiting room with fresh cool air like I could actually feel the air circulating which sounds stupid but is heaven to someone like me with fevers and congestion. The PA who took my vitals was super sweet and knowledgeable. All the staff seemed very concerned with my condition especially because my blood pressure was through the roof but the pa put me a room and asked a ton of questions. They did a strep test and flu test which my primary physician didn't even do so that in itself impressed me then the dr came in, again she was another sweet staff member who seemed very concerned almost like a mom. She wrote me a note and said take a few days off work to rest when my primary dr said I was fine and wouldn't excuse me. I really wish this dr I saw here didn't work here and had her own office so she could be my primary. They called in my prescriptions to my pharmacy too so that was very convenient for me. Stay away! Waited two hours to get called back to room, then another hour to see doctor, then another 30 minutes to get x-ray. Then doctor says to use brace on leg and I show him the one I had with me, he says no you need a different one. Nurse brings in the the same brace, I said no thanks. Then as to check out I ask for a doctor's note. Lady at desk ask for how long, I said I don't know doctor didn't say how long I should be off leg but that I was to return in two days so I guess two days. They proceed to call in a perscription for pain meds at my pharmacy. On way home stop to pick up a bite to eat to give office time to send in perscription. Get to pharmacy and nothing. Tried calling office, closed (after 8 PM). Pharmacy said they would call if it came in, never heard from. Sleep in pain. If you value your time and health stay away. read more

I waited for 3 hours. My symptoms were from the stomach bug (imagine those waiting activities). I asked why I was waiting so long. They said, "They focus on drug screens and workman's comp first." The front desk was friendly and explained all the paperwork. I was in and out in about an 1 1/2 hrs on Saturday at 2 in the afternoon. I had an abscess that was drained by the Physician Assistant who was funny and explained every step of the procedure. The Medical Assistant was also very helpful and polite. I called the office after 4 days for the culture results and was told the PA would call me later in the day. I didn't expect for this to happen but I was pleasantly surprised when the PA called me later in the day and asked how I was doing and gave me the results. I was hesitant to go to this location as its on the South-side and about 30 min away from where I live. I'm glad I did as I received excellent care from a very caring staff. I would return if I needed any care after hours or on the weekend. Highly recommend this location! read more
