The office is still clean, the assistants and receptionists are still charming and nice, and the doctor is still warm and educational. I still get nervous every time I go (I can't help it), and my blood pressure is always high every time I enter the office. They are very gentle and understanding with me, and give me time to decompress before they start any cleanings or procedures. Im still quite sensitive to any sort of mouth pain so even for a regular cleaning, they give me some numbing gel and its the best thing ever, makes all cleanings a breeze. Once seated in the dentist chair, Dr. Sandhu and her staff are professional and friendly, creating a comfortable atmosphere. I asked Dr. Cheng if there was a possibility of getting my dental bridge upgraded since it was 20yo and pulling away from my gums, felt insecure biting into apples and such ( 11Dec2025). On Jan 26, they took several impressions and worked on removing the old bridge preparing the area for the temporary bridge. Let me tell you, the technician did a wonderful job w the impressions because when she fitted them, only minor adjustments were needed. On 11 Feb, 2026 the permanent bridge was placed w no complications. I am very pleased and happy w the results! Now I can bite, chew, and smile w confidence again. My new smile made its grand debut at my High School's 50th Golden Reunion on 21 Feb 2026! Patients are left scrambling with little to no notice. On multiple occasions, the doctor has simply failed to show up. When she does appear, she seems distracted and disengaged, giving the impression that she does not care about her patients. The receptionist is equally unprofessional--unable to answer basic questions with confidence and failing to follow through on commitments. The lack of reliability and professionalism here is unacceptable.

I normally don't write reviews BUT for the service and experience BOTH my kids received; It is only righteous that my first review written is for Mar Dental. Wish I can rate more than a 5 stars. So here's what happened... Before their (both my kids) dental appointment, they were scared. But Thanks to Dr. Xu, Joselyn & Vicky made my kids feel at ease; it was AMAZING how suddenly their worries disappeared. Now they are both eager to come back for their 6 months cleaning. Amazing!!! Very Kid-Friendly at Mar Dental. The staff are very nice here. I've read some other bad reviews about Mar Dental, I just can't see the negatives narrative. Dr Christine was the first dentist that has made me feel comfortable since moving to the area. I had been seeing the same dentist for nearly 20 years and had been dreading going through the pains of finding a new dentist. When I found out I had a cavity she filled it right away with no pain and explained everything which made me feel really comfortable. She recommended a new tooth brush and it has made a huge difference in my dental hygiene.

I'm absolutely terrified of needles and especially have such bad PTSD with any sort of oral operation. Thankfully Dr Pham and his team made me feel less anxious throughout the entire procedure, and it definitely went better than expected. Aside from the great care, I feel like its worth mentioning that Dr Pham is so knowledgeable and I definitely feel like he is an expert in the field. He's confident in his studies, and a great people-person.
