I want to thank Dr. Siciliano, Sha, Jennifer and the entire team of this dental practice. I went in with a very old problem and left after a few visits all fixed up and with a beautiful smile. Dr. Siciliano was patient, kind and exhibited a level of expertise and care I thought was long gone in our country. I am so glad I was wrong. For those who are asking, yes there are a few extra steps (masks, distancing- while waiting to be seen) but this is to be expected. Do not hesitate if you are on the fence. The office and dental "work" areas are clean, they have air filtration devices and everyone around is protectively dressed (for everyone's safety). I've never had such terrible service with a dental office. It's very difficult to get someone on the phone to ask questions. They do not respond via email either. The dental staff was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. When I asked for a copy of X-rays for a second opinion, I couldn't get anyone on the phone. I sent 2-3 emails, where I also received no response. Finally , they asked me to send a Hippa form, which I did within an hour. Still no response. When I threatened to report them to better business bureau, they said go ahead and said they are allowed 30 days. It's been over 2 weeks now. Previous dentists helped with the same request same day. In the meantime, I am not able to get my second opinion. Do not come to this place. I rarely give bad reviews. This is the 2nd bad review I've given in my life. read more

Called back and the person who is answers the phone, sends you straight to voicemail or puts you on hold, disconnect the phone call and never call back. I work in an office and to be this unprofessional is absurd. Why would you want someone answering the phones in this manner. My recent experiences at this dental office were absolute pleasant and satisfying ones. All staff were notably friendly, caring and efficient. Waiting periods were quite reasonable. Offices seemed clean and well equipped for good patient care. Dr. Maksim Ndoj deserves the highest commendation for his personal and professional demeanor and care in the installation of two crowns. He worked diligently to insure that the crowns were a perfect and painless fit. "Sha" (last name I don't recall) is also an exceptional and commendable professional there. I had an old problem which got worse overtime that needed immediate attention and opted to do implants the staff was phenomenal I met with the financial consultant MARCIA and she set me up with the oral surgeon who was excellent Dr Marshal he removed and implanted the anchors while I was on local anesthesia and I didn't feel any PAIN WHATSOEVER ! It was just amazing considering the anxiety I had about doing this type of procedure. This office is excellent in my opinion. And SHA hope I'm spelling it correctly she was super friendly and knowledgeable in adjusting my temporary bridge that I need till my healing is complete she also gave me my pain meds and antibiotics that I needed right there at the office so if your indecisive of where to go for implant work I would recommend coming in and speaking with Marcia @ this Yonkers office I was a little nervous as anyone would be looking for an implant office but this office is definitely qualified for this type of dental work 5 stars for me ***** read more

It was my first time here and after reading the reviews i'm kinda of sad given what these people are saying about this place. I had no issues other than the receptionist being a little rude i felt. The dentist/doctor i saw was actually very nice i get super anxious going into the dentist and end up having bad anxiety. he reassured me and kept asking if i was okay throughout the whole procedure. I appreciated that so much. He also numbed me pretty good so i didn't feel anything at all thank goodness. I would say this is a pretty busy small office but other than that no complaints! The best dental care I have ever experienced! Professional, courteous, and friendly staff made me feel like family... would highly recommend to anyone!! I had so much going on and with Covid I neglected my dental visits. Wowwwww, just Wow!. Sll of my visits were a pleasant experience. Dr. Moed, Dr. Marshall and there entire staff is phenomenal. I was SO anxious about the appointment and any procedure, but Dr. Moed was very patient with me and spend a lot of time trying to calm me down and ecplained the procedures so that I could fully understand clearly. The staff was very helpful and kind and always available to help. Dr. Moed and Dr. Marshall were very professional, they really do take the time to explain what needs to be done and provide valuable advice , It's not easy to find a good dentist but, I highly recommend this dental office. I had an 8:30am appointment today. Of course, I was on time, even earlier, 8am. The receptionist tells me that my appointment had been canceled. I asked " By whom"? She said by the office. I asked " How can I charge YOU for the cancelation"? Because last December 21st, I had an 8am which was to be covered by my insurance, yet I was asked to pay $480 up front.. I went to the office with extreme pain. My pain was minimized by medical provider however it wasn't minimized enough for them to prescribe antibiotics. Doc also told me I needed additional medication such as motrin. When I got to the pharmacy, the dentist told the pharmacist that he never said he was going to prescribe pain meds for my emergency visit for pain. When I spoke with the office manager, Ms. Estelle Carrero, who is not a doctor said I did not need addition medication for my emergency visit. In addition she threatened to call the police when I asked to speak with the doctor. I would suggest going to a different facility.. To Ms. Estelle Speaking Spanish because your frustrated is unprofessional. Trying to set a patient up while they are not feeling well and in pain is disgusting. You've shown lack of class. Be a woman with manners in a professional setting. Be a lady. Being a bully to someone who is sick should be grounds for diversity and sensitivity training. Threats to call the police on someone asking for help is being a bully. I know you weren't born with class but at least learn to be a lady. This is trashy behavior and this does not belong in a working environment. A formal complaint will me made against you. Update: the petty dental office took more than two hours to finally call in the prescription with the help of the pharmacist who called the dental office multiple times. First the dental office said 5 minutes..those 5 minutes turned into two hours. I was crying in pain for hours. Update: I recieved a call from the dental facility saying that I was not allowed to go back to the dentist because of the Yelp review. That phone call was not needed bc who would want to go back to a facility where they were threatened? I was even sent an text message to confirm an upcoming appointment. Why would I return? This dental lies and cheats you. Going to them over 10 years neither wife or wife NEVER had any cavities. They would let cavities go by over time until we needed the tooth pulled they would go so bad we had teeth pulled, root canal, post and crown installed... for over $2000 per tooth. Now the last time they want it was $4000 with added procedures like bone transfers. A cavity was never found with 6 month teeth cleaning. These people are criminals, don't trust them and be careful they never find cavities waiting until the tooth finally rots away. read more

I had an appointment I had to reschedule due to an emergency at work. They told me because it was less than 24 hours I would be charged a fee. The next time I scheduled an appointment weeks in advance, they waited until the day before (less than 24 hours) to call me to say they needed to reschedule, but they will not forgive the late fee. Seems as though they are willing to screw their patients/customers but take no responsibility themselves. In addition, the wait times are insane; you may have an appointment, show up on time, and not get called in for more than an hour. Don't waste your time, find a better practice with better people. read more

I am leaving this review in regards to employees Johana, Marcia and Estella. I visited the westchester office on 6/26/21 and had an invisalign consultation.  During the consultation I asked the provider if my insurance would cover some of the cost, she informed me they would only cover the cost of their suggested tooth extraction. I agreed to the suggested invisalign treatment and  completed the molding process, but at the time I was unaware that I was being misinformed. Upon leaving the office I reached out to one of my coworkers that has invisalign/Cigna insurance and she informed me that Cigna would in fact cover some of the cost. I then called Johana at the westchester dental office and she informed me that Cigna was closed and that I would have to call back in Monday.  Johana  then informed that I would be reimbursed the difference, if Cigna provide any coverage. I called Cigna on 6/28/21 and they informed me that they did provide partial reimbursement.  I then conference in Johana and she verified the information with Cigna and told me she needed to submit the claim because the phone call was not sufficient.  Johana then informed that she would speak to the office manager about the reimbursement and Marcia would call me back. I called the office back later that day and asked for Marcia, but Johana came to the phone and told me Marcia was with patients and would call me back. I called the office back a few days later and Johana informed me that Marcia was on vacation, but the claim had been submitted. She could not advise on why Marcia never returned my call. Johana also advised that it could take a minimum of 3 weeks for the claim to be completed. Yesterday I called Cigna and they informed me that they are open 24/7; Johana could have called them on 6/26 during my initial visit when I expressed my concerns. I called the office back this morning at 9:30 and spoke to Johana she informed me that Estella would call me back, which Estella did. I explained the situation to Estella and she informed me that there was nothing that she could do. Estella said if she knew about the issue on 6/26 she would have been able to assist me, but she was of the office that day and Johana did not make her aware of our past conversations. Then she advised if I could find another IN NETWORK provider I would still be responsible for a minimum of $2,000, I paid $4500 in full on 6/26. I called Cigna back and they informed me the claim was denied because the wrong dental office number was entered on the claim.  The claim listed office 690218 when it should have been 10377. I would like to discuss the manner with upper management asap.  It is now 4:30 and Estella is telling me that I never expressed my concerns to Johana.  I explained to her that she was not in the office that day and she should verify with Johana before she makes false statements.  She apologized and told me there is no manager at the office and if I wanted to complain about her I needed to send an email. Another Cigna rep by the name of Noel just called me to say she left a message with the billing dept at the westchester office.  However Estella already informed me she is out of the office tomorrow; and for some reason they office does not provide coverage when someone is out. I found the Ceo's info on Linked in asked him to reach out to me. This office should be called UNCONCERNED DENTAL CARE. I FEEL LIKE I GOT ROBBED WITHOUT A GUN. read more

OMG after being made to wait for 30 min., the X-ray tech sits me down in front of a "no cell phones allowed" she watches video on her cell phone that is propped up on the counter during my entire procedure. Now still another 30 min to have teeth cleaned. Was NOT greeted when I came in. Had to sign in on a paper filled with other patients names, anyone know HIPPA LAW here?? Don't think so. Receptionists are or act super busy. Heavy on phone calls. Waiting room full. Seems like a place for the masses where thy are so overrun that good service is impossible for them. Signs everywhere claiming great service...eehhh NOPE! Changing dentists!!! No weekend appointments available anymore. Avoid this place at all costs. I had 5 dental implants done here and I will regret it for the rest of my life. The surgeon (I don't recall his name) damaged my palatine nerve during the procedure. When I complained about it I was told that the numbness to my lower face would go away. They kept stringing me along like this for months. When I finally went to a more competent dentist he identified the problem but told me at this point it was too late to remove the problem implant for fear it would cause more damage. By this time the implant had created a biophysical bond and could have been removed as soon as I became aware of the damage but it's too late now. This was further confirmed by a dentist professor and his colleagues at a well known university . I now have permanent nerve damage. My mouth and lower half of my face is numb. It's hard to contemplate this is going to be the state of my life until the day I die. The physical damage was not the only problem I had with them. Estella and her partner are also very dishonest. They promised me any money Concerned Dental received from my insurance company would, of course, be deducted from the bill. Estella denied ever receiving any money. Every visit, I would ask her if they received any money and she would tell me they did not. Concerned dental received a few thousand dollars from my insurance early in this ordeal but Estella kept on denying it. I was also promised a 5% reduction in the bill if I paid in cash. (Why I didn't realize they were crooks still baffles me. They had a good line of b.s. which I fell for). When it came time to pay my last portion of the bill they refused the deduction and continued to deny receiving any money from the insurance company. I went along out of fear the dentist would retaliate against me. The last thing I wanted was a dentist working on me who thought I was some kind of deadbeat. I had to take them to civil court to recover thousands of dollars they owed me. They forged my signature on a document that helped their case but I won the case completely. The trial judge was even surprised at their dishonesty. I talked to an Assistant District Attorney in Yonkers about the forgery and he was willing to prosecute them on the forgery allegation but I was moving to Florida and would not be able to appear in court when necessary so the issue was dropped. I see that Concerned Dental has received many negative reviews which I agree with completely. If only I had researched Concerned Dental beforehand I could have saved my self from this life altering injury and all the other nonsense. Not to get too philosophical about it but this really effected my perception of the dental/medical profession and people in general. I can't understand how people could treat another vulnerable human being like this to make a few extra dollars. It's very sad. I must add that the technicians; the woman who did the ex rays and dental assistants were all very professional and kind. (And secretly sympathetic to my plight). The problem here is at the top. It's rotten to the core. These are really low class people. read more

Always great service from the people who work here. It's nice to see friendly, familiar faces when you're going in for dental work! Only down side is that appointment times are an imaginary thing. I brought in my mother as an emergency walk-In on a Friday morning and From the front desk staff, to the X-ray tech and of course the Doctor himself! My experience has been so pleasant. The office is immaculately clean and the wait time was Barely Any!!!!! Dr. Ndoj is an expert at what he does, his professionalism and Compassion is unmatched. If every doctor and staff were to be replicated, I would want them to be exactly as they are in this office, not one person passes by you without you feeling acknowledged and that shows so much professionalism and patient care. 1. They seem to double and triple-book. I make the first appointment of the day, and regularly wait as much as 30 minutes to be seen by the hygienist. 2. Regular preventive care appointments (hygienist, x-rays, and a 2- minute dental exam) regularly take 2 hours. I spoke with the office "manager" who says this is "normal" 3. My dentist, who I've been seeing regularly since going to CDC, decided she would no longer work on Tuesdays, but nobody at CDC thought it was important to tell me! 4. I sent an email to the man who oversees CDC of Westchester and other CDCs in the area. Needless to say, I did not get the courtesy of a response. I take care of my teeth. It's one of those things that I have always been vigilant about. That being said I'm also picky about my dentists. I left my last place, because they lost my appointment and sent me home like it was my fault. Fine, I checked the website of my insurance company and found this place. Not too far from my place, actually a half mile closer. My first time here should have just been a routine cleaning, but I had a cavity. I was a bit surprised, but things happen. They said I could come back in a week or so and get it filled. So when I get back a week later, because you know a filling would have taken way too long the first time, I'm told the cavity is so deep I need a crown. Now I'm not a Dr. I believe my Drs. I wasn't happy, I know what a crown is, although this would be my first. So I said to the Dr, don't I need authorization for a crown from my insurance company? She says no, this is an emergency, so it'll be no problem. Well, it was a problem. The insurance company stated that the cavity could easily be filled instead of drilling down my tooth and putting a foreign piece of garbage, which hurts when I bite and left a nice gap in my molars inside of my mouth. So this means, now I'm on the hook for almost $500, when I asked the proper questions BEFORE the procedure was done. Never go to this place. It is a chop shop! read more

I was left with a awkward bite down afterwards because the dentist did not file it down enough. on top of that, I "coincedentally" had a fissure in another tooth the next day. I went back a third time to let them know that i had a very rough groove in my other tooth and they said that they would have to fill it. REALLY?! That was never there before. I have a feeling they made another hole in another tooth just so I would have to pay for another filling. NEVER AGAIN. I have been coming here for almost a year and there has definitely been improvement in the quality of customer service and treatment awareness on my part. My daughter and I both feel comfortable coming here. I had voiced my concerns to the doctor months ago and since then she has made it her business to address each and every concern. I have been going to Concerned Dental for over a decade now and I love it! My journey with them started when I first needed braces due to a really bad crooked front tooth. In a year and a half I was able to smile again and was the happiest girl in the world. Now, I go for my annual cleanings and I always leave there feeling satisfied with my experience. Wait time is average (10 minutes or so). The front desk staff is attentive and the dentists are very thorough. Personally, I've never been a fan of the dentist because my gums are sensitive but the dentists here take very good care of me! read more

My son is currently undergoing orthodontics at this location. We are having a terrible experience. It is impossible to get timely appointments. He had an issue with braces broken, cutting up his mouth and we couldn't even get an appointment for 2 months! Other times we sit in the waiting room for over an hour waiting for our appointment. The orthodontist is not in the office enough and is overwhelmed with too many patients. Go someplace else. They won't have time for you! In addition, the billing is a disaster. It's impossible to get a clear invoice. My daughter was seen here once (never again) and the invoices tally up both children. They refuse to give me an invoice for each patient and lump them both together. If we weren't in an orthodontic contract we would go elsewhere. We have moved the rest of the family to another practice. I can't wait for this horrible experience to be over. Braces are hard enoug for a kid and this office has made it so much worse. read more
