However, they had a fast track registration that allowed me to be triaged within about 10-20 minutes, which then expedited my initial assessment having x-rays ordered with no delay. Although it was busy and a crazy flu season, my orthopedic injury was assessed and treatment started within a couple hours. The physician had such a perfect bedside manner and was able to reduce my fractured wrist with as little pain as possible, walking me through the whole procedure. He was definitely a pro and the radiology & nursing staff was fantastic, even though they had patients lining the hallways. When the Orthopedic hand surgeon back home did my follow up x-rays he even complemented the reduction that was done.

But it was a bit disappointing that our ultrasound prints had a few errors. If I had realized that what we saw on the TV screen was going to be what was printed on our images, I would have spoken up. My last name was misspelled, and the tech had selected "third" trimester when I'm very much in my first. These errors were printed on our images, and while otherwise it was a good experience, I feel I can't really share the pictures from my very first ultrasound.
