Standard selection, just a bit pricey...but I guess that's how it is for convenient stores (you're paying for the convenience). It's a bit cramped...small aisles and their was a manager around, but he was on the phone and I couldn't ask him any questions. Maybe just bad timing? read more

Salad bar greens: some turning brown, some beginning to rot. Italian dressing had no herbs I could taste or see, no vinegar, and tasted like I don't know.....liquid rubber cement glue? Don't waste your money! Italian dressing is supposed to be one of the easiest to make. It's a vinaigrette for crying out loud! Ok, so it's bottled dressing.....but is it really? Or is it a mix of some oil and some Gorilla Glue? Gross! When I asked for a freshly made wrap, the clerk gave me a look and argued with me. It was tuna fish, which turns soggy quickly, and I was not going home right away. I've had their "fresh" soggy sandwiches before. Ok, they make wraps and paninis, but I'd rather have a freshly made sandwich on a plain roll than a soggy wrap any day. Btw, it very quickly became soggy, so how would it have been if I bought one made that morning? I've been there before and asked them if they used butter or margarine. They lied and said butter. This means I can't trust them about other ingredients. What if my child had a life-threatening peanut allergy? It's not a matter for lying or arguing about! Very inconsiderate. It's THEIR way or you get a dirty look and and/or an argument. Their baked goods look WAY better than they taste. I wouldn't bother. I would treat it like a place to stop and get a water, fruit, or an expensive granola bar, that's about it, like a 7-11. The lines are usually long. One star for cleanliness, it's not completely scary as far as dirt goes. Usually I get an argument of some kind from behind the sandwich counter no matter what I order. I really wanted to like this place but I'm tired of the dirty looks. This place is not that great, it's just that it's the only place nearby. It's like Mcdonalds used to be. If you have any kind of restricted diet, or if you don't want onions, for example, there is usually a problem because they premake their sandwiches. So then, you try a compromise and get a salad, which is rotten. Maybe you could have some mixed nuts instead? They sell those here, also. Mixed nuts for lunch? That's supposed to be a bar snack! Don't worry, there is a food stand on the corner, if you dare. I don't know about you, but I don't have time for such nonsense at lunchtime. read more

Bodega products at Whole Foods prices. Really, the prices are offensive. You can't charge me $2.95 for a $0.95 can of beans. I avoid this place unless I am truly starving. More than once I have walked here and walked right back out because I would rather starve than give these thieves my money. read more

Could ordering breakfast and having it delivered be that bad? yes. yes it can. I ordered a "fluffy egg omellete" - what arrived was squares of pre cooked egg mixed with cheese and mushroom. at first glance i thought they put the wrong dish in my delivery. i ordered two breakfast sandwiches. they deliver one. i ordered egg on a bagel with red pepper. i got green pepper and onions. wtf? read more

There has been many turnovers of owners at the current Concord Market (formerly Associated, formerly Key Food and a few others). The place is cleaner than it has ever been with a surprising assortment of exotic foods especially Indian cuisine. However beware of prices: many items do not have price tags (is it so difficult for the stock clerk to put a label on each?). Often the checker does not issue a receipt but does so only when you ask for it. read more

Concord Market is an absolutely superb store, offering a wide variety of edibles and home supplies. What makes CM unique is the unfailingly courteous service provided by staff. While I would love to name everybody, that wouldn't be practical: so let me cite Zak, the manager, and Riya at the cashier's counter, both of Bangladesh, and both very professional. They anticipate customers' needs, and they arrange for prompt delivery. I should also mention the owner, Victor Vora, who's very diligent in ensuring that CM works well at all times. I pass by here on the way to work for the smoothies. They also have a lot of healthy snacks i buy for my day at work. Overall good atmospshere, when i go in they are friendly and its always a pleasant experience. I will continue to shop here and recommend to my friends when we pass through the neighborhood. read more

Love this store but the options online weren't the same as the ones in the story. I called a few times to check the order and it was confirmed, but not the exact items that were in the store were sent to me. Some examples are fresh grapes in the containers are there but they sent me old grapes in a bag... same for other fruit. read more

This is a wonderful family run market. Some prices are as good as the local Keyfood and much, much more fair than the outrageously overpriced nearby Gristedes. It is clean. Staff is courteous. It is 1000% better than the former Associated store that had occupied this site for several decades. read more

I like the Concord Market. I go there almost everyday to do my grocery shopping..usually around midnight right before they close. The location couldn't be better. They have pretty much everything I need...a nice deli section to get sandwiches...a coffee and pastry section...plus all the other departments in a grocery store. But I have to say the best thing about the Concord Market is the people. Couldn't find a friendlier bunch. If there's something you're looking for that they don't have...they encourage you to let them know...then they get it. From the people behind the deli counter to the people behind the registers...they always have a quick smile for you. It's my home grocery store...I like this place. read more

Salads and wraps were disgusting. Came on several occasions . Decided to try their salads and the lettuce was old and the veggies I added weren't fresh. Wasn't satisfied at all. Came back to give it a second try and decided to go with their wraps. Big mistake. I should've asked if they were made the same day. When I opened it up to eat, the wrap was soggy and the lettuce was brown and soft as if it was made days before. I was disgusted. They must not rotate the wraps at all. I couldn't even eat it. I spent 8 bucks on a wrap and had to throw it in the trash. I'm giving this place two stars instead of one only because they have a variety of snacks and drinks . I'll never buy food from there again read more

This place is conveniently located for me and is open late. They have a dec fly selection of food stuff for a small market and lots of beer. However, the produce is always old and yucky. They have a deli counter but no fryer or griddle so no eggs sandwiches. read more

Excellent service and great selection of groceries. Has all the essentials plus a whole lot more. Prices are very affordable.

Shelves are always stocked. Friendly staff. Bright and newly renovated with plasma tvs. Sandwich's are aaaalways fresh!

This market seems somewhat pricey for this area, but it is conveniently located, delivery is good and one of the cashier women is very friendly and helpful. I appreciate the student discount. read more

My experience with Concord Market continues to decline. The staff at the market, more specifically the cashier is extremely rude. I work in the area and go to the market for the sandwich special because in this area it is a good deal, but everytime I go to cash out the rules have changed and I end up paying more. The bait and switch tactic has turned me away from the establishment and I will take the walk to other places. The food is good but the service is lousy. Overall, I think you should take your business elsewhere. read more

Very nicely laid out store that is under new management. They had veggie sushi, vegan ice cream and yogurt. Just learned that you can make orders online so you can have a healthy snack before walking or riding over the Brooklyn Bridge. A great time saver. You can lock your bike up on the Adams Street side of the store (along Tillary Street). I will be calling to find out what the promotional code discounts are. on the online orders. read more

Panini's are awesome! And Charcuterie? Concord market has it all! Was even greeted by the owner at the door one time and he took my product requests. Had them within a week. can't get that type if service at whole foods! read more
