I agree with similar reviews on this place...They care about money, money, money. Their #1 goal is to get money, they do not care about the pets as much as their money. They charge outrageous prices for unnecessary things. Truly disappointed.... We will find a more reasonable and caring vet and will never recommend this place to anyone. Do not recommend bringing your pets here. They take your animal in the back, charge you for a bunch of nonsense you didn't bring your animal in for, and give shots/draw blood without your consent. I've never been to a vet that doesn't tell you how much everything they're doing to your animal is before hand. Brought my dog in for a nail trim, and ended up spending over 300 dollars on a bunch of things I did not give them approval to do. Had to bring the dog back another day to get his nails done because they were unable. Also was told nail trims are 15 dollars and got charged 30. read more

Looked over the reviews looking for a new vet to keep my huskies and pomeranian healthy and up to date on their shots so we decided to transfer to this vet clinic...called them up and made an appointment to be seen and for a full exam. The ladies were extremely nice and transferred their records without any problems. They loved seeing our huskies complimenting on how pretty they were. The wait time was pretty lengthy but they were busy..which is a good sign to me. The doctor was very nice and really did a thorough job going over all the annual tests with us and checking their teeth and bone structure. Overall, a very satisfied customer with an "A" check up on both huskies. So glad for yelp in finding our new furbabies a good doctor...thank you for the reviews. I recently moved from Chicago to Farragut and needed to find a vet because my cat has a runny eye. He saw two vets in chicago, neither of them solved his problem. I checked ratings online and Concord Vet had good ratings, so I gave it a try. Dr. Barbara is wonderful. We left with an ointment and when I went to pay, I thought they forgot to ring it up but it was included in that final charge, seems much cheaper than Chicago! The ointment didn't work and so we ordered some drops from an online pharmacy which was over $80. Of course my cat decided to chew through the tube a few nights later. I called the vet again and asked if perhaps there was a cheaper option and Dr. Barbara called me back later in the day with prices of two options but told me to hang tight because she was checking with another pet pharmacist the next day. She called me back the next day and had another option! I decided to go with an oral option and she gave me a coupon website and stayed on the phone with me while I entered the info in. She sent my prescription to Kroger and when I picked it up, the pharmacist entered the coupon and said "Wow! That took it from $150 down to $20!" So Dr. Barbara went out of her way to research options and find me the best deal possible! We just started the pills two days ago so I'm yet to see if they will work. In the middle of all of this, Zuko went in for his rabies shots too. He hates the vet, so terrified. They wrapped a towel with pheromones on it which seemed to calm him down a little. I have used this vet off an on for 10 years now. When my 12 yr old arthritic dog began getting constipated and wouldn't eat or drink in November, I took her in. She stayed over the weekend. $400 later, I left with a prescription for pain medication for her. I saw that they charged me for special food, but didn't give it to me when I left. Not a big deal. She got a little better, then went down hill again. I took her back to see if she had an infection. She wasnt eating or drinking that day. The Doctor recommended putting her down. I asked if they could just see if she had an infection, and hydrate her. Then Dr. Chris said something irritating. He said, we either do everything or we put her down. I couldn't believe it, I didn't want stool samples run, MRI's, unnecessary testing just to run up a bill. I wanted to know if it was an infection or not. Anything worse, and I knew there was no more treatment that could be done. She's very old. And you don't do testing if it isn't going to change the treatment plan. Antibiotics, fluids, and make her comfortable to see if that would work. Anything else, they should have done that the first time that I brought her in. read more

This is the best place to take your pets. We have a fairly new puppy and had taken him to another vet where we had a less than stellar experience to say the least. After starting puppy kindergarten classes at Concord, we decided to bring our puppy to Concord Veterinary Hospital for his medical care as well. Wow, what a great experience!! Dr. Lisa and Raina were fabulous!!! We were also pleased to find out that they have boarding and grooming. We met, Dawn, the groomer, and immediately booked an appointment for our little Golden Doodle puppy. From the minute we walked in the door until the minute we walked out again, the experience could not have been better for our puppy or for us. Highly recommended. read more

This was my first time at Concord Veterinary Clinic. The staff upfront was very helpful and friendly. We saw Dr Barbara. She was very informed about Oliver's problem and gave us lots of information and choices to clear up his excessive tear stain. Oh, my gosh! These are the best Veterinarians around! We have been going for the last 6 years and we have the best care for our yellow Lab. It's like family, Marie, on the front end is such an animal lover. Her memory is incredible and she is petting and hugging her patients! We have gone to many of the Veterinarians at Concord Vet and have been extremely please. Last week, our lab was constantly licking herself which caused raw paws. The newest Vet, Dr. Chris, recommended some medication and two days later, my dog has left her paws alone. Thank-you so much for helping Lola! read more

We started using Concord for vetting and boarding of our two dogs about a year ago. While I have confidence in the Medical staff, the administration is so bad, I refuse to go back. Unprofessional would be an understatement. Piss poor attitudes, rude, rushed, bothered. My wife has had to drag me out a few times before I made a scene. As noted previous, the medical care has been fine. I will spend my money elsewhere. There are a TON of good vets in Knoxville - all about the same price for procedures. read more

Our Tibetan Spaniel, 151/2 yrs. old, was in very poor shape and had seen two other vets in the Knoxville area. We took him to Concord Vet Hospital on 1-9-2012 where he was seen by Dr. Jennifer and her assistant, Raina, who were very compassionate and caring professionals. They actually listened to the problems we were experiencing and the interventions we had done, then accurately diagnosed him and successfully treated him, restoring him to his previous state of health.
