Every aspect of our experience was good. My wife was treated with respect, and they kept their promises. There was none of the typical car dealership nonsense we have all heard about or dealt with from time to time. We are not from that area, but they had the exact car we wanted. This was on my Top 3 list for service (due to overall Yelp reviews which were sales-centric). Refreshment area with a cappuccino (et al) machine. Impressive with on-screen instructions on the 2-step process. Ok, silly me, but always fun to play barista With time to kill in the waiting room. Bought my Subaru elsewhere, and the OTHER dealership service rep over-sold and over-suggested services. Thus looked elsewhere for service. My car service here was not the basic oil change, and to stay incognito without disclosing my service need, I'm happy to say they did a fine job, and with a coupon, reduced my overall charge. We purchased a 2025 Forester Touring last week. Our sales person was Bob N. Bob greeted us at the door, was patient and knowledgeable about the cars and their features, and stayed with us every step of the way to make sure we were taken care of. He even gave us his cell phone number! There was no pressure at any time including when finalizing the sale. And the manager introduced himself to us. Subaru cars are great, they practically sell themselves. But these folks at Concordville Subaru provided us with a comfortable "mom and pop" experience during a time that can be stressful. UPDATE: I was able to speak with the general manager after my initial reported / reviewed bad experience. He was wonderful to work with so far, and has allowed me to put down a deposit and has promised to let me know when my 2025 .Purple BRZ (not a typo... it's called the DOT PURPLE Limited Edition.) has been allocated and when it's on it's way to the dealership so that I can go and pick it up. He also has agreed to honor MSRP pricing for me. I will update my review again, (and maybe include some pics of it!) as soon as I take delivery. Anthony Cappello sold us a used Subaru Crosstrek in Aug, 2025. He was great (see previous review). 2 months later, our car was totaled after having crashed into a big buck deer. Again, Anthony was wonderful to deal with. He's calm, resourceful, knowledgeable, and very helpful. He found a used Forrester Wilderness for us that we're very happy to have bought. No high-pressure sales pitches just accurate information and answers to my questions. This dealership behaved in a very deceitful manner with me. I reached out to them about a publicly advertised special, and went in person to see the vehicle. I clarified with them both verbally and in writing about which vehicle I would be receiving, as well as explicitly clarifying the lease price. However, at the last minute, they tried to offer me a lower trim vehicle instead, stating that they made a "typographic" error in their advertisement. This type of behavior is emblematic of any business using deceitful bait and switch practices. I'd strongly caution anyone from purchasing from them. There are other, more honest, dealerships in the area. And I have the receipts from this experience to prove it! read more

MY SUBARU CAUGHT ON FIRE! Unfortunately, mine is not the first one that caught on fire based on these reviews... In May 2019, I bought a Subaru forester with 44k miles on it because I was told it's a good car for a young girl bc they last forever. First of all, it had an oil problem and even though it was Subarus mistake for all 2013 foresters, I was still expected to just live with it, without compensation or recall, and refill the oil all the time, which I did the past 4 years. This summer, my check engine light came on and the car felt weird. I brought it into concordville in June and they told me it was just the gas cap, and that they TURNED OFF the check engine light. The light came back on when I brought it back in to get the new gas cap after the order came in. They fixed the gas cap and TURNED OFF the check engine light again. The car still felt weird. Exactly one week later, the car randomly caught on fire from the hood. The entire bottom of the car was charred and the car was deemed totaled at just 100k miles. All subaru could do to help me was say "sorry" and offer me a couple bucks off of a LEASE that they still make a huge profit from anyways. No sympathy for me... lesson learned... now a Toyota girl... read more

I went to this dealership with the intention of leaving with a vehicle. I test drove multiple used cars. Unfortunately we noticed replaced parts on the vehicle that had not been disclosed. For selling used cars the salesman was very unwilling to make any sort of deal and became rude and condescending while discussing price. I left without a vehicle. After a day or so, one of the coordinators contacted me via email; I let her know about my experience (because she asked), and I received no response. Great low pressure experience when I purchased my car in 2018. I am genuinely happy with my purchase. I would give more stars but each experience I have encountered when bringing my car in for service had me wondering if Subaru really backs up its product. I've disappointingly overheard a few complaints in the service department. Once about safety lights coming on ( seat belts when engaged ) and it seemed like they let the lady hanging like they couldn't help her. The warranty is only good for 36000The maintenance parts are extremely expensive and the promise of a clean car after service was non existent. read more

Drove from upstate NY to PA to see family, and the throw-out bearing on my 2016 Impreza threw up... Concordville service dept. answered the phone on that Saturday, and Mike was very helpful and understanding. The car was towed there, it was repaired within the week. New clutch, flywheel, and bearing, necessary as I have 161K miles on this car. My service tech support, Dave, kept in touch during the week, answering all my questions, and managed to save me a few hundred dollars off the initial estimate. While it would have been less expensive to have my upstate NY mechanic do the work, I had no choice here, so I greatly appreciate and was thankful for their willingness to negotiate, and the work being done in time for me to retrieve it this past weekend. Terrible experience with this dealership. Purchased a certified used 2015 Legacy a few weeks ago (Jan 2019). Within 2 weeks of purchase: 1) Took the car home and realized that the front floor mat was missing. 2) The tire pressure indicator was on when we purchased the car. Salesman told us not to worry that the cold temp was causing the tire to "read" as low pressure. After two days we took the tire pressure to find it at 17 lbs (vs the 36 it should be). I took the car back and insisted they look at...they found there a large nail in the tire. They obviously never checked this vehicles tires. 3) About 10 days later, I got stuck in a parking lot because the car wouldn't start. After about 15 minutes of trying, the car eventually started and I drove it directly to the dealership. We asked them to "re-certify" the car- meaning to check all key points again. After keeping it for 3 days, they found nothing and did not do what we asked. I'm quite sure we were lied to as well. Too long of a story to writer in a Yelp review. 4) Driving down the highway last evening, (with my husband driving his car in front of me). He noticed in his rear-view mirror that my fog lights were off-kilter and pointing down directly at the road as opposed to straight ahead. Aka- useless. Once again this car is going back. The morale of this story, my experiences tell me that this dealership did not properly assess this car before our purchase. I suspect that they were untruthful about the certification as well as the subsequent check of the vehicle (after I got stuck). Very bad experiences, buyer beware of this establishment. read more

I am so happy I shopped around for my new 2018 Subaru Impreza and ended up with the great people at Concordville Subaru. My 2015 Impreza Premium lease was up in July 2018, but I was curious at my options for turning my lease in early and upgrading to a new 2018 Impreza Premium. I first went to Rafferty - long story short, but they knocked down the price three times (THREE TIMES) to try to get me to sign that day, but I didn't have the time - I had a work appointment that afternoon. However, I had planned on going back in a couple days to lease with them. I don't usually shop around, but thought it couldn't hurt, so I emailed all the Subaru dealerships within 35 miles, explaining my situation, including all the info they would need to give me a rough quote. Almost immediately after emailing Concordville, I got a text from their Internet Sales Manager, Lindsey Hackman. She got right to the point...asking me for my car's VIN, and which car, color, and options I was looking to lease this time around. Without making me come into the dealership, without playing games, she quickly quoted me a price that saved me $33/month compared to Rafferty's lowest price!! (And remember, Rafferty had dropped their original quote three times). It was so low, I thought she forget to fold in the remaining payments on my current lease into the new monthly payments, but I was wrong...she had. A couple days later I went to Concordville and pulled the trigger on a new 2018 Impreza Premium (which is absolutely fantastic, by the way). However, I want to stress that my appreciation for this dealership is not just because of the great deal. Here are the main reasons: A) I didn't have to go through a song-and-dance, wasting my time there while games were being played by numbers driven sales reps and managers. Unlike Rafferty, who kept coming back with lower and lower prices, testing me, hoping to get me to jump into the highest possible price they could, Lindsey was completely transparent, immediately offering me a fantastic price. No games. No run-around. They didn't even ask to value my current car. B) Lindsey Hackman, their new internet sales manager, is incredible. We communicated via text, which is so much easier nowadays. She made it so easy to communicate with. I'm not exaggerating - she responded to EVERY one of my texts within 30 seconds. I can't tell you how helpful that is when you're working through an expensive, stressful purchase like buying/leasing a car. C) The rest of the staff were great too. John Shields walked me through all the paperwork, described all the features of my new car, and even helped me move my stuff from my old car to my new one. Tim Raysor was smart and insightful in explaining how all the numbers / payments added up. Plus, he was honest and straightforward in explaining all my warranty upgrade options. In a nutshell, you should definitely give Concordville a chance before any other dealership. Great prices, honest employees, immediate responses to your questions, and no games. read more

At this end of this 10 hour day, I bought a '15 Legacy from Kim at Concordville Subaru and am beyond happy with my decision. In all honesty, I could not have asked for a better car buying experience. As a first time buyer, I was expecting the process to be difficult and exhausting, but this was the furthest thing from it. Everyone at Subaru was kind and helpful, and at no point did I ever feel pressured to make a decision I was uncomfortable with. I worked with Kim as my salesperson, and I would greatly recommend doing the same. Of the 4 sales reps I worked with that day (all from other dealerships), Kim was clearly the most knowledgeable and passionate about the cars she was selling. When my husband called yesterday and spoke to him, he said there was nothing they could do. I do not understand why he wanted to reach out when we were offered NO compensation from Subaru for a car under warranty that exploded in our driveway?! My wife and I recently purchased a fairly new (used with low mileage) vehicle from here. Our sales guy, Lenny, lacked personality. He wasn't bad at all, but he wasn't someone I would necessarily recommend my family or friends to. Although, I must admit, his laid back persona was refreshing considering what we've dealt with at other dealerships. We traded in a vehicle and were not happy with the first quote we were given. I kept going back and forth with one of the managers until we finally came to an agreement. Once that was settled, we needed to work on the interest rate. My wife and I both have great credit, so there was no way we were settling for anything over 1.9%. We haven't had to have the car serviced yet. I'll update this review once I get a chance to see what the service is like. Overall, I would give sales a 2.5-3, hence the rating. read more

We've always serviced our Subarus at Matt Slap Subaru in Newark just because we live in Delaware but after a harrowing experience with the sales department at the Newark Subaru dealership, I could not be happier to do business with these guys. Nick was excellent, no pressure sales, very informative and just a good guy. No sleazy sale techniques like other places (Newark is terrible in comparison!). Moe the sales manager claimed to beat any price from the other dealerships (including the Costco automobile program) and he and Nick delivered on the 2018 Subaru Forester we were in the market for. The people here are very friendly and they offer great programs including a lifetime power train guarantee if you service through them. As a testament to their high quality service and vehicles, they are expanding and moving the dealership closer to the Wegmans come Fall 2018 since they've run out of space. These guys are pretty great. They can get you in for an appointment the next day vs. Delaware Subaru in Wilmington that always makes you wait a week to bring your car in. Also they fixed a problem with my car that Delaware Subaru refused to even acknowledge existed (easy fix, but it was a definite problem - an intake leak).
