LOVED this place. I needed a new optometrist since the one I've been going to since I was a child retired. I found concourse through Yelp and saw they had really good reviews and Dr. Chen is AMAZING. So kind and she really takes her time with you. Her office staff was also very friendly and helpful. I recommended Dr. Chen to my sister and she loved her too! Definitely recommend. I was recently in an accident and my glasses frames were distorted, but my lenses were fine. The staff at Concourse Optometry informed me that new frames were on back order and would take 6 mo. Dr Chen saw me the next day to update my prescription. I went on an internet search for duplicate frames and the office asked their rep to check if any of his other clients might have my frames. I was able to get new frames, the office put in my old lenses, and I am good to go. Thank you for all the help. read more

Love dr. Chen! This is my first time going to see her for an annual check-up. I used to go to the optometrist at Costco and this year, my vision insurance changed, and I found Dr. Chen on the blue cross-network search. She is very detailed oriented and she takes time to explain to you about your eye's current situation. She will recommend you accordingly. I do realize they charge more than Costco vision. With the insurance converted, my bill came out to be more than $100, which normally I pay less than $60 at Costco with vision insurance. But I do feel Dr. Chen is more knowledgeable than the optometrist at Costco. read more

I just recently had LASIK surgery done and Dr. Chen was with me every step of the way. Regardless of any kickbacks, I got quality recommendations from her. When I asked her questions about each doctor and each institution I felt that she answered them freely and honestly and never did she try to sway me to choose one doctor over another. I did my own research on other doctors in the area and she provided honest feedback for them as well. When she wasn't familiar with one of the doctors I mentioned she took the time to research more about them so that I could make a more informed decision. She was very sympathetic to the fact that I was extremely anxious about the procedure, knowing it took me years to muster up the courage to do it. When I found the right LASIK center for me she came by to watch the procedure. I was really touched that she did that. She took care of me on my day after appointment and I am continuing to see her for all my LASIK post-op appointments. It's clear that Dr. Chen isn't just your average optometrist.
