My overall visit was great, and Amayrani (Amy) stood out in particular. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful without being pushy. I appreciate her ability to help me find frames that flatter my face shape and how clearly she explained the differences between lens options, tints, coatings, and related technology. I'm the kind of buyer who wants to get granular with the details of what I'm spending my money on; Amy delivers on that front. She also made it easy to understand how my EyeMed insurance applied to different frame and lens combinations. I think it is worth mentioning that she answered many of my technical coverage questions in Spanish. This part of my visit felt very straightforward. I stopped by because my newly purchased sunglasses kept sliding down and never felt secure. This shop is one I've passed by many times, so I decided to walk in and ask if they could take a look. Brian helped me and was extremely kind and professional. He paused what he was doing, had me try them on several times, clearly explained what the issue was, and carefully adjusted both the nose pads and the temple arms. The fit is much better now and feels stable. On top of that, he did everything free of charge. The service was friendly from start to finish, and the store was very clean and well kept. Located in the same shopping center as a Target, Dr Parekh was very friendly and nice. What I felt like was lacking as a first time patient was the staff in general introducing themselves and welcoming me as a patient to Pearle Vision. As someone who has worked in hospitality for years, these are service basics folks. I have no idea the name of the lady at the front who I actually talked to that checked me in and did all of the initial scans. The pace of service was SO quick here which I appreciated since I was there on my lunch break, but felt very uncomfortably transactional. At the very end, I also just asked for copies of my prescription rather than ordering my contacts at this office, and from my past experience, the office sends an email to the patient with prescription and itemized receipt of services performed or at least will offer if I want something printed or emailed. Not just a credit card receipt and printed copies of my prescription. Regardless as I asked for a copy of my prescription, you could see the despair on the front desk lady's face and then they were trying so desperately to match the yearly supply of contact lens pricing to Costco by even trying to throw in free shipping and additional boxes that they even called me just after I had hopped in my car and was already on the road. I'm sorry but that's a major turnoff in many ways and comes across as desperate. While I appreciated the offer of trying to price match Costco pricing and incentivize with the manufacturer's rebate, this wasn't my first rodeo, and I can definitely say no optometrist's office has been able to match Costco's contact lens pricing for a year supply. The exam with the doctor itself was professional and fine, but I was not a fan of the experience as a whole which just felt like they wanted to get my money and get me out the door. read more

We recently visited Dr. Puja for our eye exams, and the experience was absolutely wonderful! Dr. Puja was incredibly kind, patient, and thorough with both me and my kids. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made my children feel comfortable and at ease during their appointments. The office was welcoming, professional, and very family-friendly. It's not always easy finding a doctor who is so great with both adults and children, but Dr. Puja exceeded our expectations. Do not recommend if you need your glasses in less than two years time. I wanted to get prescription sunglasses and they forgot to notify me when they had them complete and returned, I had to keep calling them to confirm if they had it yet. 6 months later I finally get to go in to try them on. They are incorrectly made as the focal point is off and they say they need to send them back in to fix it. Months pass and no update. I call to try to get updates and I keep being told a manager needs to call me back (which doesn't happen). I get fed up and find time to go in, they say the lab they use has been backed up (for months!?) and that they will call me with an update. Sounds like they forgot to send it in. Months pass and no update. I call again and ask for an update on my sunglasses. I get told a manager has to call me the next day and of course no call comes and still hasn't. I went in for my sunglasses winter of 2024. It is now April 2026 and I don't have my prescription sunglasses. Even worse is my prescription has changed, so if I ever get the sunglasses I paid for, I won't even be able to use them because the prescription is now wrong. Pearle Vision has quite literally robbed me of hundreds of dollars as I still have no product and if they even get it to me, it's an unusable product because of their incompetence. read more

First experience was roughly two years ago. They gave me defective glasses with a nose piece of rubber hanging out of the frame. When I returned it for repair / exchange they said there was nothing they could do. This was literally within the month when I physically had a chance to return them. Fast forward to today, I just wanted a copy of my prescription that I previously paid for but they claimed they have a new optimistrist and lost all access to the previous prescriptions done. She improved my prescription. She was caring, considerate and explained everything perfectly well. Too bad she has no say on the prices of her glasses. Then I met my assistant. The exam great, but when it comes to the service there's a little bit to be desired. When it came time for them to put the lenses my existing frames it all went well until he asked to clean them and broke my frame at the bridge of the nose and then informed me that he isn't responsible and that I needed to pay for a new frame.
